Hi Frank, Thank You very much for the information. The update with the Beta version went well but the problems with "No channels" remain on a large part of the channels. Running firmware v10.10.56 and IPTV v10.10.60. Br Per

Hi Frank, Thank You for the good news. However I am not sure how find the beta version. First of all, I have the Z10 SE and only know how to update through the main page. The latest version there is the 10.10.54 Official of Dec 9th 2024. Perhaps there is a backdoor to the stage that I have not found? Sorry for my ignorance. Br Per

I have had the same problem for about a year with both Formuler Z8 and Z10. I have several portals and NO CHANNELS occur on some of them and does not improve after factory reset with box. It seems like the developers have stopped to adress the issues with MTVOL2 and focused on the new version. What they do not understand is that they lose loyal clients who does not want to buy expensive new boxes with MTVOL3 when they neglect old issues. Developer PETER above seems to be extremely well informed but have not addressed the issue after several Months. Shame.

The media center does not recognize the usb drive. Thanks to the advice of Kodi and to change from a USB attached hard drive to a simple USB stick it worked. But still not with media center, only reaches upnp, or VLC. But I guess my request was to simple, usb drive on z8 mainly for decoration. But Kodi answers my request.

The USB drive and attached hard drive is visuable in the z8 "settings" "removable storage"...

I tried to use Kodi and granted Kodi to access my files but when tried to browse for the usb I choose "external storage" but when choosing that the internal directories of z8 came up.

I tried to use Plex and that was possible without time consuming registration but no way to choose the usb drive.

I should mention that the hard drive attached to the usb is recognised by the z8 under setting and storage. But no way to reach it with the z8 or the apps VLC, Kodi and Plex.

I do not think that VLC regards the inability between VLC and Z8 to communicate as a bug. Sorry to be such a novice but what psyc0n is recommending is to download kodi, plex and emby? I downloaded plex but they wanted a registration procedure so I quit as I thought they want me to have the movies in their cloud service. Just peculiar why the simple thing to upload a movie from a usb and play it can be a tricky thing in the worlds smartest mediaplayer. So smart it can not make the simplest thing?

I have the same need as cool-ima had in January, to watch the movies I have stored on a hard drive I dock to the Z8 through the USB on the left side. I follow what ddd recommends, to download the VLC player. But when I run the settings and try to choose what catalogs to include in the media library , it only responds with "internal memory" and the usb is not recognised. This was easy done with a Dreambox 10 years ago but with the fantastic z8, this simple task fails.

Any advice is much appreciated.
