are you on Virgin Hub3? I am consistently rebooting the route but problem persists
I had this issue about 2 months ago.
Had the hub 3 working without issues for over a year and the suddenly started dropping connection.
Searched Virgin forum, log on to Hub 3, ran diagnostic test - showed errors on devices connected via wifi
Running test on virginmedia website confirms an issue, see message below - I thought it was my router but it's a fault on the network.

What does this mean?
This issue is caused by interference on our network impacting multiple customers in your area.
This will cause intermittent speeds and performance may vary at different times.
Got on the phone, early around 8am is best time and complained.

Yes i can, Quality its just awfull... On movies, on streams, series, whatever...
Usage is better when connected by credentials then mac, more options when comes to vod, even youtube option for trailer is shown. By mac you get nothing. Just cover, some info from imdb and thats it.
Lots of small freezes. Stuff that never happened with my alpha or z8.Puzzled as all 3 have MYTVOnline 2 and best method for portal is by credentials.
On subject of TV, my cousin just got LG cx OLED and it's awesome.

That is the way it's done but the issue is, everything is reset on reboot.
Same issue with Favourite group - the channels are all cleared
Looks like a bug as the setting are not saved

That's not on google, that's on Netflix certifying the devices.
Google has control over Android TV play store and SHOULD insist that apps on the platform, run on certified Android TV os devices.
Then Netflix or other apps can choose if they want to be on that platform.

Google have just rebranded the OS. Its still the same
Google needs to sort out apps as some do not work on devices with certified Android TV os
Netflix etc

Can't really say which is better as it depends on the TV you are watching on.
Have seen Z7+5G, Z8 and Z8 pro on Samsung, Old Sony, LG and LG OLED.
Best picture was on LG OLED

Reconfirm your Mac ID ( 00 1A 79 ** ** ** - replace ** with info from your device label) with your provider.
After they confirm, set up Z8 pro.
I followed advice others gave you and it worked.
