So I’m using MytvOnline. I press “group” on the remote and then the red button. I then select the categories I do not want and click OK. Works perfectly fine while it’s running, however, once I power down the formuler z7+ Using the “STB” on the remote, then power it back on, all the categories I hide are now viewable. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Let me know if there’s a solution or direct me to a video (if any) on how to hide the categories. Thanks in advance.
Edit groups... Reverts to all groups after powering off/on

Why do you power down and not use standby? Are you updated to the latest software? How are you connected?

I mean how do you connect to provider? Use standby instead, you can manually clear the cache, no need to power off.

Try to use different connection example via mac portal.

MENU>Connections>>the service> ok> Edit>>Edit groups.
and uncheck what you dont want

Hiding Category`s with MOL1, see pictures.

That is the way it's done but the issue is, everything is reset on reboot.
Same issue with Favourite group - the channels are all cleared
Looks like a bug as the setting are not saved

What are you using exactly for connect with your provider, registered MAC /ID Stalker portal, XC Api with login portal or m3u playlist?
Set system language and MOL language?

XC Api with login portal
This is what is being used as it seems to load better than m3u playlist with better options.
Also love the error reporting options in MYTVOnline 1
