  • Install of USB & Set Up cannot direct record or schedule recording (Formuler Z10 Pro Max mytvonline 2

    Just got my new formuler Z10 Pro Max with MyTvonline 2 app and I have an issue with the recording.

    I did exactly how Formuler ask to set up and the need of a USB drive to be able to record

    IMPORTANT

    • Before you get started, please make sure to save important data from the USB to another storage before formatting.
    • Please disconnect other USB accessories you have connected to your Formuler device.
    • Formuler Boxes support following format: FAT32, NTFS, exFAT

    💡 Use the Formuler device to format the USB

    1. Plug the USB stick into your Formuler device and restart the box so that the box can initialize and recognize the USB correctly
    2. Go to Home > Settings > Storage & Reset > the USB drive > Erase & format as removable storage > Start the format
    3. Keep your device connected and wait for a progress bar to appear and complete
    4. When the formatting process is completed, "the USB drive is formatted" message is shown.

    Event after USB format/install. Cannot record anything at all. Every time I try I got the warning error recording (see pic)

    I can see the USB drive in Storage in this case Kingston USB drive (see picture) Am I missing something?

    Note: My Formuler's dealer told me that my USB drive was the problem. I bought another USB drive and set it up again following formuler instructions. Still cannot record anything.

    Both USB drive are Fat32.

    I know that I cannot record one program and watch another.

    I did restart the formuler several time.

    Everything else work perfectly. Please help

  • Schedule Recording Not Working Z10 Pro Max

    I just purchase the Formuler Z10 Pro max .

    I cannot schedule recording. When I try it everything look ok, it appears on the schedule list and the red dot it where it is suppose to be.

    1-Here what happens, 5 minute prior recording I would get this message : Starting on Channel xxxx Option given= go to live / Cancel record or close I then click go to live (Note it will note switch to the right channel if on different channel) I also tried it while staying on the right channel still getting the same message.

    2- When it is time to record this message appear (Retrying 1 /5 Unable to open stream Server error: Http 401)

    3 Nothing will record and if I try anything related to recording I will get a (! warning recording Error)

    4- If I reboot the formuler than I will be able to live record but not to schedule record.

    Would it be possible that there is something wrong with the box itself.

    Hi Perter K 1961,

    Is the new box from Formuler fixed your issue with schedule recording? I just purchase the Formuler Z10 Pro max and I have king of the the same problem as you and really would like to know if it is the box the issue or not. Thanks I have done severals test and definitely, I have a problem with the schedule recording.
