I connected my Z10 Pro Max to my router using WPS button and now it allows it to connect flawlessly

You didn`t answer me this question. Is your ssid split or not, do you use with other devices 2.4 and 5Ghz or only one of them. Some other box near you to test with this?
My SSID is not split (i think?) and all my devices connect flawlessly with the router (Washer - Disher - Dryer - TV - Fridge - PC - Laptop) everything connects straight away

Check on your router what exactly is chosen for wifi connect.
the adapter supports 802.11a 5GHz
the adapter supports 802.11b 2.4GHz
the adapter supports 802.11g 2.4GHz
the adapter may support both 802.11n 2.4GHz, and 5GHz, but not necessarily
the adapter supports 802.11c 5GHz
Is your wifi split into 2.4 and 5Ghz or one for both? Wifi channel changed and tested?

I have tried all of the above potential solutions but none of them worked.
I tried all the possible combinations still the same result except for when i changed the wifi to 802.11g 2.4Ghz and channel 2 the error message became :
Couldn’t find « name of my ssid »
Can the adapter be defective ?
