I'm running BETA and for me on one of my providers it solved the channel load. Never had EPG problems, always see EPG from 7 days on both of my providers, but yes, there is still some channels that show "No Information" when we are watching the channel but if we go to EPG everything is there.

What doesn't seem to work is EPG for the next days, neither with beta neither with previous version... But for example on this day i have EPG until the end of the day, if i go to tomorrow there is nothing, it shows "no information" (not sure if it's in every channel but the ones i've tried it shows no information for the upcoming days, still it works if you go 7 days before...). Other iptv players have EPG working for the upcoming days but when we want to watch something from before it doesn't show has many has MOL3.

What is the Resume playback fix? Anything related with catching-up/replay while watching live channels? That fix could make me update but i have doubts...

Neither do i. I see some kind of seek bar and we can navigate into that on vod and EPG for watching previous aired stuff, still that bar is there on live channels but we can't navigate trough it. I think it will be possible in the future or perhaps just using formuler remote app to remap those hotkey buttons to forward and rewind, but i did that and it doesn't recognize the command when i try them while watching the channel!!!

- Fixing Android 11 Tv permissions; - (from what nvidia staff said on nvidia shield forum they needed to implement a File Explorer app like "Files" from google embedded in their ROM for it to give permissions to data folder inside android folder and then whenever we use or need to see those files with the file explorer appwe use (X-plore, ES, FX, etc) a popup will appear for us to give permission and we go to that Files app and consent)

- Back and Forward functions for live channels; - (so we can go back for replays of something we missed and there is no back and forward buttons on remote but those last 3 buttons must be used for something...)

- DLNA support on MOL3 - (so we can watch our own content on MOL3)

- Studio mode to watch more than one channel at the same time up to 4 - (you might think i'm hilarious to suggest this, but sometimes, every day i miss this feature, but i understand it's probably a bit complicated, PIP mode is good enough but...)

I can confirm that, replay isn't possible as we don't have any forward or backward buttons on remote to preform that option on live channels but i assume those 3 bottom buttons on the remote can be used for that in the future. By now you can go right to EPG and start the live event and seek somewhere close to the action you want to watch again...

Not sure if it's in the right place this question but can we install backdrops on formuler and use it as the screensaver ( when it gets fixed ) ?

I'm not sure but i doubt it, it must be Android 11 related. It's probably related to the new energy saving stuff google introduced in Android 11... I know that performance took a big hit from Android 9 to 11 on nvidia shield, about 20% less and they still didn't fix that. Ofc on nvidia shield you will only notice that while gaming hard.

On Z11 pro and Pro Max might be Android 11 or the fact that this is a brand new SOC and GPU and formuler devs will probably get us around 50% more performance in the next months, that's why i assume that option is there, for devs to test it...

For now i can tell you that without messing up with developer settings i can do almost everything i do on nvidia shield (apart from the obvious - geforcenow and AI upscaling) and last night i was playing RR3 and Asphault 8 for about ~2 hours and after that box was barely warm...no drops, everything smooth...gamepad BT pairing works with my PS4 controllers so there's that.

PS: I believe this GPU can do nice scaling stuff if well explored...

Ok, did you try to use AFR on Sony Google Tv? Well let me just tell you that you can't. Anyways it has some kind of Motion stuff going around that simulates 50HZ but it's far from the AFR you get on a dedicated box. For movies it's even worst, a complete disaster, you can't watch anything correctly on Sony google tv. It doesn't do AFR yet and perhaps it will never do. We are all waiting for Android TV 12 to introduce AFR on Sony GTV but i doubt it will work because as it is now you can't even choose resolution and refresh rate as you normally can in any box connected via HDMI.

But it's acceptable for Sport streams at 50fps given you buy your tv in Europe. Still not exactly smooth if you know what i mean.

Stevep, might not be related but did you change developer settings like enabling CPU performance mode and/or changing Hdmi Rx version from 1.4 to 2.0? Because i did that and got presented with nasty freezing in MOL, kodi, plex, every video i play on the box, rebooted and same stuff and then put things back as they were and freezing stopped...

And btw are you usign Wi-fi 6?

Everything is working fine on my end. Entering sleep mode and waking from sleep mode works without problems, turning it off and on with remote works - no problems. Portals and playlist both working for my provider, VOD is awesome. MOL is miles better than the competition.

Now there is room to improve:

- Android 11 has issues in the permissions department - we can't write to storage/android/data and that's a problem. It happens on other boxes and sticks with Android 11, only solved on nvidia shield and chinese boxes with root. I still don't know what nvidia devs did to fix the writing permissions on storage/android/data folder but it works now in the last update, still there's a lot of other permissions that we don't know about and only by using the box we will notice them. Kodi NFS works but SMB is a bit laggy and there is ocassional drops...also happens in nvidia shield...

I've seen the message although it wasn't related to your issue. I had no usb devices connected, but i've added smb server in storages and while watching a movie from there in kodi i got that message and video stopped for a second and returned right away...

Not a big deal because i have NFS server for Kodi and it works without issues...

Ok, just bought Z11 pro and it's pretty straightforward in the iptv department. I'm enjoying my provider right now with a live match, no freezes, AFR is working pretty dope and the only time i've got connection lost error 401 was when i did a huge update on my fire stick that affected the formuler, other than that everything seems good in the iptv deparment

Now there is some problems in android permissions and i know why because i have nvidia shield and it happened there too, somehow they fixed it with a popup message that allowed the file explorer app (x-plore, fx, es, etc) to access those files ( inside internal storage -> android -> data) and we just needed to say yes, but it transported us to another app, a file explorer app that came with the rom and that's what i think is missing in the formuler. Because the popup appears on file explorer + but there is no file explorer system app to do it, so there is no way to access those files and while it's not a major issue for many, for me in kodi is very important to access those files.

Given i know this is an android 11 issue i'm going to try to find workarounds but i wanted just to let you know about my experience.

I also have a minor issue in AFR of both Kodi and Plex, meaning it works like charm, both refresh rates work ( 23,976HZ and integer values like 24HZ which is a big relief) but it always change resolution from 1080p to 4k. I would love to be able to keep it at 1080p for some movies. Still a minor issue because there is a workaround in Kodi at least by disabling AFR and put it manually before every movie but it's a bit boring to do that every time and sometimes we don't know the stuff we have in 24fps and 23,976fps, so there's that.

Hi, i'm having a problem Android 11 related on Z11 pro. Meaning, the problem appeared on Nvidia Shield and every box that has Android 11 where if we want to change the data folder inside android folder on main storage we can't, but on nvidia shield and other boxes they ask for permissions and we say "Yes" and it's done, we get access to the files. On Z11 i can't, it asks but then says "app not found" and i can't access data folder to insert advancedsettings.xml in Kodi userdata and other stuff...

Can you help?

Went there and it's just Contrast, Saturation, Brightness and Hue settings, but they are all at 51% by default, is that normal behaviour?
