DRM Protection, Formuler has no certifications
PostRE: Netflix incompatible with this device
They was never certified and Netflix decided all not certified Boxes to cut from support list. This year i quit Netflix after so many years of watching, their business and pricing policy has become unbearable. The next price increase is already on the way.

If u want to play Netflix and Co. u will need a different Android Box -
What about Audio Codecs? Theres nothing written about?!

I've never noticed this before, now that I've changed my VPN provider, I wanted to test it via a speed test.
On my PC I have a good 800 Mbps of 1000 with the same VPN server as on the box - on the Z11 only between 150 and 90 Mbps with the same app, on the PC via Blustacks (for testing) - The box is prioritized in the router, port sharing is enabled. Without VPN, the Z11 also reaches about 800 Mbps.
Why is the Z11 getting so slow over VPN while the same app is running at almost full speed on PC? -
I have now managed with my program that the XC Api also works. Nevertheless, it is a pity that m3u is so poorly supported, when it is offered...
-
Sorry but no, not implemented.
Since I don't see a list under EPG, I guess I have to assume that m3u in MOL3 doesn't support that either?
I'm asking because I'm using IPTVBoss to sort my list, because this app has by far the best EPG support, but only outputs the list as m3u because the IPTVBoss is an offline app -
Is there any way to get Catch-up/Time Shift working with only m3u, not XC API, in MOL3?

Go to Android Settings > Apps > App permissions > Microphone
and list the apps that have microphone permissions on your device.
Gboard, Plex, Google Play Store, Kodi
Also, are you using a different on-screen keyboard or are you using the default Gboard keyboard?
Just Gboard
clearing the cache and data of the gboard and assistant was able to solve this same issue.
No changes
Anyway. I'll do a complete reset if I'm back home... -
Using which Remote BT1 or something else? IR1 sold with Z11 doesn`t have option for voice search. What are you using for input?TV-BT1GTV-BT1
AlfLaSalle Please let us know which remote you are using. Share a photo or link.
Using the original GTV-BT1, didn't have any prob before the regular latest Update.

Search didn't turn up anything, so I'll post this.
When I use voice search in VOD by pressing the voice icon, the Z11 Pro Max crashes. Black screen and nothing works. Just pull the plug.

Hi,
I had an issue the other night with the Remote Control not responding when watching a VOD.
I had the Remote left on a table for about an hour as i watched a movie and when i picked it up to turn it off and go back to live TV none of the buttons responded.
The red led flickered on the remote when i pressed any buttons but nothing worked ,not even the TV buttons worked including volume up and down for the TV itself.
I ended up having to pull out one of the battery's and put it back in for the remote to work normally again.
This happened with my Z10 Pro remote a couple of times too.
Has this happened to anyone else and is there a way to prevent this from happening again ? or a possible update maybe?
Exactly the same happened to me a few times with GTV-BT1 - Had to power off the Formuler to get all working again

There is a app on xda so you can watch it in high resolution
Netflix on Kodi (Fork) isn't working either... Tried it, getting same Certification error
And yes, Netflix is rubbish, also because of a lot they've changed in the Past.
-
Well, you could look for an IPTV provider that offers something like that. Guess most Formuler users do it that way
-
hello What is the Formuler z11 pro Netflix license, how many pixels can I watch? thanks

Lowest possible. Forget it, it's awful, because there is no Netflix certification and none will be.
Don't ask why, I don't understand it either (maybe becoz of MOL3), since cheap boxes also have Netflix, but that's the way it is now -
-
There is no "switch".... All your Providers are sorted underneath in MOL3
-
Sounds to me as if your Provider is blocking Express VPN for whatever reason... Or... Your IPTV Provider too... as SAM already stated, *Ninja´d* 😁🤪
First, I would try to change the DNS Setting within your Router. There are a few good and fast around. I am using Google for a long Time now. It's fast, and I am OK with the DNS...
Second, check if there are any Antivirus is running that is blocking the VPN Settings or any other Security Settings.
If all your tries doesn't work with whatever you did so far, I would recommend changing the VPN Host.I have had very good experiences with ovpn.com. 10 days trial, support reacts very quickly. You can find the rest in the terms and conditions
As long as u get a free trial, try some others to check if it's Express VPN or any other Settings
Edit: Forgot something important... Some VPN providers have problems with IPv6 if they don't support it themselves. You can turn off IPv6 support in Formuler. Try that too

In vpn settings try split tunneling to add mol3
Adding a VPN to Formuler and then to Split Tunnel MOL3? That makes sense /ironic off

Personally, I like it when I can also see a preview while browsing the Prime Video app.
It worked well on the Shield, but unfortunately it doesn't work on the Formuler. The autoplay function is active on the Amazon site.
Maybe someone can help. Thanks

Is there a difference when using Ethernet?
Hi. With Ethernet it's around double speed. Not necessarily better either.
What baseline are you using to compare the performance and judge it as "bad"?
FireTV Stick 4k Max. Wireless VPN, same settings, has double speed
Cables are all OK. Wireless Settings on all devices are the same

My Formuler manages a good 300Mbit/s on WLAN with a Providers 1000Mbit line.
As soon as I connect to a VPN, it goes down to just 45Mbit/s. Tried 4 different VPNs, all WireGuard protocol, all the fastest servers and all the same.
Without VPN a good, fast connection, with VPN not. Anyone an idea why VPN connection is so bad on the box

I currently have 2 boxes, the Nokia 8010 and the Formuler Z11.
The Nokia runs Tivimate.
On Formuler, Live TV films/shows only run on 25 FPS via MOL3, series and films (VOD section) at 50 FPS.
On the Nokia 8010, Live TV films/shows run at 50 FPS, but films and series (VOD section) only on 25 FPS here.
I wonder how the mixed difference comes about even though everything is the same provider?
-
Exactly same on my Z11
-
GTV Section needs a new Box too. 2 GB Ram and MoL2 are outdated 😈🤪😁
Thanks for ur fast answers
-
No, only on GTV Box.
Do you think Chromecast will be supported at some point on the Z11?
-
Does the Z11 Pro Max has Chromecast Built-in?
-
In the VOD section, there is also a "short" description of films and series.
Sometimes these are longer and the content is then hidden towards the end. Is there a way to enable kinda marquee for the description, so you can read the full description?
-
I want sorting on recently added but have to do it every time when I go to VOD or Series.
U can sort it to recently added, but it will be to "back to normal" sorting after u left the VOD Part again.
You have the magnifying glass at the right top and next to it the 3 horizontal lines that are getting smaller. This allows you to change the sorting.Alternatively, you can also use the menu on the left. But as written, it resets itself again after leaving the corresponding area...

The same with me. I was watching a Show yesterday and had to turn the volume on the Formuler Z11 Max Pro 4K to 90%.
My TV's volume is always 10 during the day, and then between 7 and 5 in the evening.
The volume reproduction of the box is not constant, voices are very quiet, but then very loud with background music...
Why do you have to regulate the volume via the TV and the box at all?
Already had a few streaming boxes and none of them were like that before.... Super cumbersome
