Hi All.

I’ve noticed this prior to the beta update but waited until the beta to see if my issue is resolved.

I replaced my GTVs with 2 x Z11 Pro and 1 x Z11 pro max

Since changing from GTV I have noticed the HDMI CEC function isn’t working fully.

I’ve tested over a variety of TV brands and each have the same issue.

When I power off the Z11 pro / max to standby, it duly happens and also turns the tv to standby….

When I fully power off the Z11 and TV from the mains and power back on, I notice the Z11 powers on ok but the TV remains in standby. This also happens when waking the devices from standby.

I have ensured all tv settings are correct, they recognise the Z11 devices within CEC settings, Z11 CEC is also enabled so I cant understand why the TV doesn’t automatically wake from standby when the Z11 comes on.

When I swap Z11 to GTV, everything works fine but when I go back to Z11, the issue described appears.

On a side note. I have also noticed the one option in the Z11 CEC does not work / a notice appears when toggled on.

Again this only happens on Z11 pro and pro max.

TVs in question are:

Samsung

LG

Hisense (basically a Samsung TV)

All modern TV 2022 versions

I’ve also enabled wake on HDMI in TV settings

I don’t see an option to power on to last state with these TVs so as the issue is for me, isolated to Z11 series, that’s the likely source of the issue

I as well am having this issue, if you don't wait for CEC about 38 seconds then z11 will boot to ui@home and shortly after it will sleep turning the tv back off user will then have to power up device again lg tv webos, I also have this

“CEC wake up from Power Mode not supported”

I'm not certain it's ready yet SAM might have the answer

3. Formatting from device cause boot loader loop, not 100 percent sure if it's beta related or generally related when large drive attached 128gb of larger causes device to bootloader loop, work arround is format device with pc delete partions and create new partions the device will then boot

Secondly the dedicated Google voice search with the gtv-bt1 doesn't seam to work but instead crash while in the mol3 or @ the home screen

I have discovered with mol3, with the new beta when disable server is turned on and external USB storage attached android>data>tv.formuler.mol3.real>recordings becomes corrupt, forcing a reformat via pc via diskpart, disk management

I don't own z11 but... Basic networking troubleshooting would warrant 1 forget this network, if that doesn't resolve the issue I would reccomened a reset ( luckily you have a z11 where you can backup your data, I belive that may be in the mol3 settings located at the bottom) before reseting the device back up your data

You can delete the cache of the device and see if this corrects it

Settings, Device preferences, storage, internal shared storage, cached data press ok and confirm deletion

Note: if your hardwired and wifi is on this causes some confusion for the device

Are you using a VPN?

If you head to settings, network&internet, ip settings choose dhcp press ok reboot your device (restart) see if this helps

Settings, apps, see all apps, google play store, clear cache. Reboot and see if this helps with the system web viewer update

Epg is a source that is provided by some but not all providers, please connect with you provider and inquire if epg is supported and the correct time zone for the DATA. For example if the source is eastern time zone and your in the west, its a 3 hour diffrenace. In this circumstance the epg would be offset by + 3:00 I hope this helps clear up some confusion with epg. Just because it shows no information doesnt mean it's not working it could be unsupported by the PROVIDER

If it's working with the VPN turned off, its plausible your provide has some sort of location lock on the epg data , I would suggest reaching out to your provided and explaining your issue. Epg is merely a source of witch the data is provided

And if you press the yellow button on your remote this should bring you to Current Time (, go to now) have you tried that

Experiencing the same issue, setting EPG to UTC doesn't solve the problem for me.

When I set EPG offset to 0 and EPG to normal, EPG data in the 'Guide' mode and the EPG channel mode (press "Right" when the info bar is visible) the times are correct. However, when I switch channel, press 'INFO' or press "OK" on the remote control, the program info differs 2 hours from the EPG.

Tried several offset settings (Normal, UTC, several offset values), cleared EPG cache, then (after the EPG data is loaded again) I get various results:

EPG Normal:

EPG Guide OK, EPG Info OK, Info -2hr

EPG UTC:

EPG Guide OK, EPG Info OK, Info -2hr

EPG UTC, offset +2hr:

EPG Guide OK, EPG Info +2hr, Info OK

There seems to be a difference between the EPG of a channel, the EPG in the Guide and the Info (program info in channel list and program info in the info bar).

I have 2x GTV's where this phenomenon occurs.

Any way to fix this?

Epg UTC + 2

Try epg normal +2:00 short of that you will need to study the source, as you post comes up short with this setting

Most epg issues are the source of witch they come from, contact your provider for the most current information

Please be patient, they are celebrating the lunar new year office hours resume on Monday commencing the holiday

I agree, I have personal experiance on this issue recently with hitron modems, for what ever reason a guest network needs to be created

As far as a fix I'm unsure if one is in the works, as I'm a end user like yourself. It wouldn't hurt to submit a ticket after all networking is stonger in numbers and more input/feedback is always better. I'm using the z10 pro with a xb8 currently hardwired but I only connect wifi Devices of low/lower priority

Did you make it to the system menu? When the z10se logo dissapeard? You have to remove the paperclip once the system menu appears

They are generally really quick at responding, I might also suggest contacting your reseller prehaps you have a defective device? Needless to say, if you submit a ticket someone will get back to you... Right now they are celebrating the lunar new year and the office is closed. but... Please do submit a ticket you can also upload a pic of the blue screen and the steps you took to resolve the issue

I know this is not what you want to hear but.... Prehaps you need to change your password for your ssid... As some devices are limited in length by passwords, I have experiance this first hand on many devices use the kiss method (keep it simple stupid) no pun intended

Also check to see if your battery for the remote is not flat and the polarity is correct

Weehaggis You can hard reset the Device with a paperclip, first remove the power plug from the unit leaving the HDMI Cable attached and flip it over, to the right of the sticker there is a pinhole reset button with this button depressed "paperclip works to depress the button" , and HDMI still attached, plug the power back in untill the z10 se logo dissapears you will be prompted with a screen, remove the paperclip and choose wipe data/ factory reset on the system menu, once complete on the next system screen choose reboot system now... If your unsure you could always google "z10se hard reset"

I've experienced hitron routers don't work and wifi6 routers need wps turned off

Recently been dealing with a issue of failed to load vod data, after troubleshooting it was discoved to manually delete system cache, settings, device preferences, storage, internal shared storage, delete system cache data. While this worked for 2 devices "gtv" it wasn't a solution on 3 others... Decided to check and see if there was a update in the play store, and indeed there is. Try to install updates nope keep kicking back requesting uninstall apps to make Room... Checked device storage space 11gb available.. Try to install updates again.. Nope gtv request delete apps to make room for updates... Checked internal storage again 11 Gb free??? Some one care to chime in here as I'm clearly out of ideas at this point

Did both software reset and.... Hard reset issue comes back over time

Happend to me once found out mute was on did you check that? On the bottom of the remote middle button with the 3 dots press that see if mute was on

Hi, this issue was reported to Formular and they were able to figure out the problem and were working on a new version release which automatically clears the memory cache on reboot. Please update to the latest version or try to use the beta version if possible.

SAM Is there a hotfix available or comming in the near future?

This has been a ongoing issue I've switched providers tried 4 others problem keeps coming back

With z10 z10 pro the issue isn't there
