Lucky13 thank you I'll try updating.
Bonggo the issue is not on the network side of it. Signal is strong and present , from when I reset to box till the next time I turn the TV back on.
Also, signal goes also to a computer that never loses it.

Signal is fine from wifi gateway, why does box need constant reset?
No...most likey its the box. I said THE RECORDINGS have that ....everytime lately, though they never used to. Live stream has no such issues, and different recording sources had that malady, and watching the same programs live, there's never any of that. It's not hard to rule that out, of stream itself as the ptoblem.
What makes my DVR recordings skip and stutter?
Does formuler stand behind their devices?..is my z11 box waranteed, so that if i have a faulty one, i can have it replaced?
Problem solved FINALLY. YAAY.
Had to do the last resort and factory reset it. Apparently that's what it takes to clear a stuck node or something. Might want to take note of it thouugh for future info.
In order to install something from market, i'd have to have internet.
I tried the factory reset but i dont remember my 4 digit code. Do you how I can retrieve that or get around it?
I get that same exclamation point graphic, on WIFI, ethernet, and hotspot. Though they all say connected. I got a failure message when I tried that Quad9 DNS.
But the thing is, my internet source has my PC in the same hub, and that works just fine.
I also tried the default quad9 choice they have there.
Yeah you left out a dot. But it didn't work anyway
Quad9 9.9.9.9?
Or quad9.9.9.9.9?
I have an ATT "Air" hub, that was working fine. Both my Formulers box and PC are routed through it wirelessly. My PC works fine. But on my TV , it shows my wifi is connected, yet I have no Internt stream or signal. I've done all the off & ons, reboots, unplugs,.... and had ATT test my signal and try and help me.
I guess my main question is, what does the exclamation point over the wifi connection icon, as seen in the pic below, mean?

For the last couple years I've had Formulers Z11 Pro Max, and of course MTVO3. And used several IPTV providers that worked well for the most part. But when my last one expired, i decided to go with one that included Big10+. I learned that, though there be hundreds of IPTV providers, there are 2 basic types of streaming packages, distinctive by the channels in them. I would love to know more about that, and why there are only two like that, and what the programmers call them.
So..I got into this one, and right away ran into this problem where all live TV channels, after playing fine for a while... will crash and say .."contact your service provider. Unable to open stream. Server error HTTP 458 ". (I've seen people discussing this error but a different number. Do you know what "458" signifies?)
And with watching a TV series, it will play good for a while...then crash, saying. "cannot play video, please try again later".
These exact issues are happening now continually the last three days, while i've tried 3 or 4 different providers. Contacting them is useless. They seem to just be hirelings that are not really IT proficiant, and they just say "try using a different app like Smarters"...or "try using a different VPN". Or..."here, try these xtreme codes.".
Yes I've rebooted, reset, unplugged, restarted in WiFi, checked cables, all of that. I'm wondering if there's something about using this particular kind of package, with MTO3, since I never had it happen with the other one, the last 2 years. What say you?
I just thought of something, I have a music downloader goin on my PC. Think that takes up too much of the bandwidth, and causing my portals to stop?
My Xcapi codes worked for a day, then stopped again. The portal names have an x by them in the content manager. Other functions work, I have a show I recorded that I can watch fine. But not streaming. Any ideas? I did a soft reboot, Turned the wi-fi off and back on, disabled and re-enabled the portals,....I dono.
Just wanted to inform you my codes work today all of a sudden. Something in my internet service had a glitch i guess. I dono
All of a sudden, new portal codes aren't working.
It's the same thing on more than one that I tried, all the codes are right...then it stays at 0% for a little while, then goes to 5% for a bit....then bombs. This sound familiar to anyone?
Please help me out here. I've about had it with Formulers I'm gonna go back to cable or something...I've had constant issues. It's not worth the few bucks i'm saving.
Maybe. Just seems like if it was not formatted right, it wouldn't have given me a good recording before like it did.
When I first got my Formulers unit, I was able to make a recording. I no longer can.
I set the schedule, all dates and times are right, flashdrive has lots of space, It shows in "scheduled recordings" that it's ready to go.
When I get home and turn on my equipment, there's nothing there. What's the deal?
As I said in a previous post, I used to have recent viewed series on my home screen but it disappeared. One person asked if i checked my "Home Menu -> Launcher Settings -> Customize Channels" to see if things were deactivated. They said they have all three options (Live channels, VOD, series) there on their system, mine only showed live channels, now recently It offers VOD ones, but still no Series So I tried "**** test" to see how that was, and I thought THIS IS IT!....because it has two big boxes on the bottom and the one on the right has options that allow you to add any of the three to your home page. But alas....for series, it says "not yet set up in MTVOnline" , which makes no sense because if I go into the side menu and open the series option....I see the favorites and recents there That I watched. So What gives??
I can menu over to "Series" and see favorites i have set up and recently watched, every time I check....why can't I have them on my home screen?
nm RESOLVED...I guess. one at a time those came alive and I have them on my home screen now. Hope they stay
Would that have taken away something I already had?...I only have the version that came out of the box...but there may have been updates.
That's great.
Any idea why mine only has favorite channels and recent channels?
Thank you Bazooka.........but my question isn't how to access them. It's that they aren't on the home screen, why not, and how do i get them back on there.
Under "customise channels", there's recent channels, (which i meant not recent apps) and favorite channels. I'm not talking anout live tv channels or apps, but "TV SERIES" shows. It used to show 3 or four on the home page that i had been watching....between the row of recent channels and quick settings.
I have been actively tweaking my FZPM / MTO3 since I installed it a couple months ago. I've changed IPTV services around and tweaked a few things. Am I losing my mind, or did my home screen used to show recently watched tv series?, or continuing to watch or whatever. I searched and I cannot figure out for the life of me what happened. There used to be three or four shows I would scroll down and pick one to continue watching, just below the "recent apps" group.
Correct me if I'm wrong but you cannot use more than one supplier at a time can you?...in "content sources" it seems only one subscriber can be active at a time, and I even saw that unless I first turned off my primary one, I couldn't turn on a new one. right?
I was really just fishing for info. Next time i need to schedule a recording i will see if things are different, i need to look at the "CE" setting i guess and see if it's set to off. Haven't done that yet. If my issue happens again, i will be here again talking about it.
THANKS SO MUCH GUYS
does the system turn itself on for scheduled recording?
If so that's odd because it doesn't turn it back off again. You come home and your TV is blaring
Thank you Lucky
I've had my Formulers z11 Pro Max set up for about two weeks, and i've not been able to get most live channels. I can get some...NFLNetwork, Grit Tv,...but I've been able to get "Balley Sports from any city for example, or "MeTV" from any city, or Fox News. It this an issue with my IPTV service? Are those normally paid premium channels starting to block their product from IPTVs?
