I have had this issue for over a year, when trying voice search on any apk (Syncler, Cinema, etc.) or MOL3 the Z 11 Pro Max Crashes. No update has helped, I hesitate to do a reset afraid of loosing my settings.

I have had this problem since I bought the Z 11 Pro Max, voice search on MOL3 and any other app installed on the Z 11. I click on the microphone and the box crashes, every time. Have to unplug to reboot. A real pain in the A$$.

Bump this topic, anyone else having this issue? I have not done the latest update, box is working although not as it is designed but useable. Would love to see this search issue corrected. Thanks, Steve

Hi Sam, I did the update today and like the new layout and MOL3 updates are also welcomed. Unfortunately, the Crash issue when using voice search is still happening. As I and others have stated in previous posts the Z 11 Crashes in all apps when the microphone button is clicked on for voice search. The box has to be unplugged to get it to reset. This happens in MOL3, Google Play Store and all other apps that have voice search. I am able to disable voice in Syncler so I can type in search criteria, but my other streaming apks don't have that option. Maybe someone else will chime in with their experience. I see there is the new update but I haven't done it yet, waiting to see how it goes with a few people.

Sam, yes remote is updated, under release notes the version is 1.3.0 and the current firmware is 0.5.3d

I paired my mini wireless keyboard and even using that when I click on the microphone for voice search in any app including Mytvonline3 the box crashes. So would this lead you to believe it is the box?

I see there has been a new beta release, will this issue of crashing when trying to voice search be investigated and foxed in an upcoming beta or full update? I hope so as I am far from the only one having this issue.

I'm not sure I know how to get there to even try. Honestly after finding the other posts, it has me wondering Box or Remote?? At least I found a way to search typing in what I'm looking for, but not ideal considering the price of the Z 11 compared to a $20 Onn that works great. I really like the Z 11 and was going to order another, but on hold until this get sorted out. Should not be this hard to get this to work as designed. I appreciate your help and will try to get this to work with your suggestions.

  Hello guys. I’ve been enjoying my formuler z11 pro max quite a lot! Recently I’ve notice switching to the BT remote with voice contro, every time I click the google bitton, my box goes to a black screen and freezes until I have to manually unplug it and restart. (Super annoying) I’ve tried all the latest updates for the box and controller and the problem still is there. Anyone experienced this, or could help me out would be fantastic thanks!!

• Firmware 11.2.6 and MOL3 11.2.14 update for Formuler Z11 Series released.

  Massive problem with voice search icon on all apps that have microphone icon screen just goes black and have to turn box on and off, I never had a problem before these updates. Always something wrong with this box don't know why I've bothered buying it. To much hassle!

Sam, I think I'm on to something. I went into all the apps that make the Z 11 crash when you click on search, and disabled "Open Voice Search". Now I can search with the keyboard, so I believe there is something in the update that affected Google Voice Search. It was the Voice search in MOL3 that crashed the Z 11 also. Hope this helps with solving this.

Sam, I have not done a factory reset, was hoping to avoid it as lots to reload. I have done the back up of MOL3 but have heard people not having much luck with it. It took me hours to get MOL3 set up the way I have it. I did find another thread here that the user was having the same problem so not just me. Thanks for your help.

Sam, I just tried voice search in MOL3 and the same thing happened, Crashed, have to unplug to get the box to restart.

When it first happened I re installed Syncler, same issue. These apps all work great on all my other boxes, Fire sticks, Fire Cube and 2 Onn boxes. This is not an app issue it is a Formuler issue. As I stated 2 weeks ago it was working fine on the Formuler, new update and now doesn't work.

Sam, Mol3 search is OK, this started after the last update 5/10. The apps (apk's) I have that it affects are, Syncler, Weyd, Cinema, any time I click Search in these apps the Z 11 Crashes and I have to unplug to reset it. Very frustrating not to be able to search for TV shows or movies, It was fine 2 weeks ago.

68 views and nothing, this really seems to be a Formuler issue as it occurs in several different APK's. Any help would be appreciated.

It seems since the last update my Z 11 PM crash's every time I click on search in several apps. Syncler, Weyd, Cinema etc. It was working great then all of a sudden this happens every time, I can not search for a show or movie. Very frustrating, any suggestions?
