Initial thoughts on the new Beta.
Seems less buggy and a bit more smoother and more responsive.
The settings menu is better.
The AI search works much better now and is really quite neat, however, when it gives you a choice of movies to select from, it only keeps the synopsis of the first movie even when you move across on to the other choices.
Same issues as others not going to home screen, but instead last live watched channel, Not able to press the back button from VOD, and the weather app thing (it's just not there on the home screen, but, I really don't care about that anyways).
Still some of the same issues from last such as not being able to select all/none on the group management etc, and I'm looking forward to more personalisation in terms of colour schemes etc.
All that said, I still think it's gonna be great.

Yep - the 2nd beta on the mini seems loads better. VOD stuff is better and words without turning off MTOL3 & trailers via Smarttube work good (though would also prefer TizenTube option)

I'm getting some intermittent wifi disconnection. Its ONLY when on MOL4 for any length of time that it happens. I watched stuff on Emby on the Z12 Ultra for hours the other night without a glitch, but watching the football on MOL4 yesterday I guess every 15/20 minutes or so got dissconected. No probelms with the Wifi on other devices, inclduing the Z Mini I have in another room. (No problem with same chanel, same provider, same game , same time on the Z Mini either). I never got this probelm on the Z12 Ultra with MOL3. Just MOL4.

On going saga of my experience.
I done a factory reset after installing MOL4 and experiencing all kinds of bother. Mainly having to unplug the device and having the box switch off every time I changed to Adaptive/HDR/EV etc.
Thought the box was goosed. Raised a ticket with Forumler, raise a ticket with the seller etc etc.......Anyways, left if for over 24 hours and turned it on again today now it's working perfectly fine! All seems great. DV/HDR10 etc on no bother, and turns ok without having to unplug/plug
What I would say though. Setting up portals from scratch is a proper pain. IMO Gone backwards here from MOL3. Having to "hide" each channel group rather than hide all and select the ones you want is a drag.
Its not intuitive at all, and there's many, many more button presses to set up favourite groups, reordering channels etc. The "Content Manager" function in MOL3 was waaaaaaaay better and easier to use....more like the K.I.S.S. method - I think the new way is too complicated and not at all simple
.Anyways, I still like MOL4 - it looks great hand has great potential. Just make the channel/favourties set up easier please!
(Any ideas why the box just started to work would be greatly appreciated too.)

Hi - hdr output mode consistently turns off from adaptive when returning from standby for some reason.
Have tried setting it to different modes and testing cycling power, restarting, etc to see if it will stay but always turns itself off from standby.
Any idea what's happening here? Im on latest myo4 beta firmware (was also happening on stable myo3), hdmi CEC on, have a LG C1 and Yamaha YSP 2700 soundbar. Box is connected to hdmi input on soundbar, and soundbar connected to tv via arc. Thanks!
Very similar issue to mine. Box is rendered pretty useless. Looks like I'm gonna try and return under warranty.

Why do factory reset,better wait forOfficial update.
Because the beta seems to have done something to ruin the box. Can't turn off without having to unplug first.
When I do finally get the thing to turn on I can't change to HDR/Adaptive/DV etc, if I do box turns off and have to do the whole thing over again.

I'm not bothered about reverting to MOL3. Just will I kill the box even more than it already is if I do a factory reset?

Beta just comes back? No revert to MOL3 like, but is it safe to do a factory reset?

Sorry, can't get this to reproduce now. Its nice and slick atm.
EDIT - after me trying to recreate it, getting MOL4 stuck on one TV channel, multiple restarts of the box (I thought I'd bricked it!) I did manage to re-create. Not quite as slow as the other day, but, you get whats happening.....
Update on this. It's rendered the box almost unusable. To even get the box to boot back up now I have to remove the power cable for a minute before turning back on, otherwise box wont turn on.
Edit: More bollocks with it.
After complete power off then back on, managed to get box working again. Noticed DV had gone off. Went to settings to turn back on and box just went blank again as if its off.
Edit again. Turns off when you switch it to any of HDR/Adaptave/DV.
Absolutely rubbish.

On home screen, go to the very bottom and click on the 'Edit Row.'
From here, you can get the option to hide watch history.
We will, however, review if improvements can be made on this to have a more user-friendly UX.
Great, thanks. I get this, you can "hide" the watched list, but can't delete your history. It still shows, just hidden

That happens to our box and we haven't upgraded to MTVOL 4 beta, we're still on 3. So it might me a box issue rather than the beta update.

Few other things...
1. I know its early days, but, it'd be great to be able to set one of the remote hotkeys to "Home" on MOL4.
2. Since updating a few app icons on the main home page look a little fuzzy and out of focus.
3. I don't really like the background when playing radio stations..... reminds me of the "Channel Offline" background some providers have

When you select groups whislt on EPG the groups take an age to slide on from the left side of the screen, like 15 seconds or so which is not at all pleasing....

Ok, so here's my MOL4 feedback.
Firstly I think the UI looks great. Super modern. This has really wonderful potential to be really "high end" and premium.
Now my issues with current Beta, most of which has been mentioned by others but will do it anyways:
1. Channel Lists, Favorite Ordering (the old Content Manager in MOL3). Feels like a bit of a step back here. Seems cumbersome and awkward and as others has mentioned there's no option to Select All/None meaning many, many more clicks when making changes or adding new provider etc.
2. Colour schemes not available - though I'm assuming these will come as it's suggested at in the information guide within MOL4.
3. Chanel Name Editing. I found how to do this once, but couldn't find it again
. It seemed to suggest you could amend the Prefix or Suffix. Nice, but I think when I tried it, would just let you amend the full name. It would be really, really nice if you could do like a global select of a number of channels and remove a prefix, but might be asking too much here.4. Agree with other comments when using the AI search feature not bringing back results and the "Shuttle" spelling mistake.
5. Home page looks mega. However I think it would be nice to be able to select some of your favourite live TV channels to appear (or favourite lists/groups etc... e.g. I have an Entertainment List, Sports List, Kids list etc) . When on MOL3 you could do this on the actual home page of the device (not the MOL3 app). This has gone now after updating to MOL4, so maybe a little step back?
6. On home page.... the ability to remove your recently watched history (channels, VOD etc) would be nice. Don't want to, er, leave any incriminating evidence for the mrs to find
7. EPG stuff - agree with some of the others about not going far enough in to the future. I have it set a 7 days, but when I tired to change to the "Alternate EPG" it didn't download some EPG data for some channels at all.
8. No real bugs noticed - but - after I set something to record, then changed my mind and cancelled it the whole EPG, favourite lists and scrolling through anything was VERY VERY slow and laggy.
Thats it. Please take the above in the spirit that its meant. I think this update has incredible potential. (And as a Z Mini owner too a shame it wont be available on there... though I can see why - you want your flagship expensive model to have the best, exclusive stuff on there)

Was having some bother with one of my providers after a url update on portal.
That's been rectified with this update so I'm happy!

This looks promising. Will give it a go on my Z12.... will MOL4 also be eventually made available on the mini too. Having different systems in different rooms will do my head in!

Did you contact your iptv provider about this?
Nope - same iptv provider, same portal works perfectly on Z12. Done a facory reset in the end and all good now. Annoying though
Edit! - Still doesn't work. In fact is the same on both boxes Z12 and Z mini. This is just the favorites on the home screen though. I'm pretty sure they display the EPG data from the time they were added to the home page, and don't reflect what's actually in the EPG.
I really can't seeing being a provider issue, as the EPG within MOL3 is spot on.
Unless I'm missing a setting somewhere?

By a process of elimination (using a live football game that was still in the guide - Leicester City v West Brom) - it appears to be stuck on the info from 5th January at 21.30 uk time...

Have you tried clearing MOL3 cache and restarting the device along with refreshing iptv source in content manager?

This may seem like a minor gripe. Indeed it is a pretty minor gripe unless you have an autistic son with OCD
. Then it quickly turns major!On the home page of My Z Mini I have the MOL3 favorites showing. Really lovely feature. However, for some reason the times showing are incorrect and are miles off the mark (therefore the programme information is wrong).
I doubt it's my portal/provider as EPG is perfect, and the same problem is not replicated on my Z12 box using the very same IPTV provider. As I say - its a minor gripe, but, its annoying and the it does the kids heads in.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this please? For context - this was taken at 08:36 this morning. Problem is replicated on each channel in each favrotie group. Not just isoloated to the one shown here:
