    I had similar problem,when you go to Home>.software update>1339.you will see preparing for update (moving icon),immediately press OK button(while moving icon still present),box should then update.

    Because the beta seems to have done something to ruin the box. Can't turn off without having to unplug first.


    When I do finally get the thing to turn on I can't change to HDR/Adaptive/DV etc, if I do box turns off and have to do the whole thing over again.

    I think the application is good but I think it needs to be improved.

    -To create a list of favorites I find it too complicated compared to mitv3 too much maneuver to do

    -The back button in the VOD app to return to the home screen it would be good if it came back.

    VOD and SERIES it will be good to have several lines instead of one line.

    yes hitting group button & info button you can make a new group , but you cannot pin anything or unpin groups !!!

    In live tv grouping scroll to a highlighted group you wish to pin/hide then press info button and choose to pin your group. Revert to earlier reply method to unpin/move group. I do agree, we do seem to have gone a little backword with Mol4 as its deffo not as user friendly as Mol3 as there seems to be a lot of navigating to find certain actions.

    This morning while watching live tv,i got a notification "new content has arrived,press refreshed in main menu",so i did but upon completion of refresh,it jumped back to MTOL4 homemenu.

    Is this supposed to happen,as i would expect live tv to continue? F_Peter

    We are currently looking into this.

    There are some scenarios we have to think of for this case, so it may take a bit of time for the fix.

    Still on my Z11PM's, but would like to know something, so here it goes.

    With MOL4 is there still a option/possibilty to manual sync the audio (for live tv, vods and series) and the subtitles (for vods and series) as this is now possible on MOL3? I really need such an offset of -300 ms audio (for all audio on AAC 5.1).

    Ofcourse it needs to be improved. It's a beta version.

    From vod back to live push menu button temporary, till they fix it to the "back" button

    Very similar issue to mine. Box is rendered pretty useless. Looks like I'm gonna try and return under warranty.

    On going saga of my experience.

    I done a factory reset after installing MOL4 and experiencing all kinds of bother. Mainly having to unplug the device and having the box switch off every time I changed to Adaptive/HDR/EV etc.

    Thought the box was goosed. Raised a ticket with Forumler, raise a ticket with the seller etc etc.......Anyways, left if for over 24 hours and turned it on again today now it's working perfectly fine! All seems great. DV/HDR10 etc on no bother, and turns ok without having to unplug/plug

    What I would say though. Setting up portals from scratch is a proper pain. IMO Gone backwards here from MOL3. Having to "hide" each channel group rather than hide all and select the ones you want is a drag.

    Its not intuitive at all, and there's many, many more button presses to set up favourite groups, reordering channels etc. The "Content Manager" function in MOL3 was waaaaaaaay better and easier to use....more like the K.I.S.S. method - I think the new way is too complicated and not at all simple :winking_face::smiling_face:.


    Anyways, I still like MOL4 - it looks great hand has great potential. Just make the channel/favourties set up easier please!

    I use a third party editor to edit my EPG / playlists. The editor URL w/ Xtreme Codes worked fine in MyTVOnline3. After installing MyTVOnine4 and migrating data, only Series and Movies load. Zero channels load. I can create a test Playlist and PM you the xtreme codes so you can debug. Also, the search feature does not seem to work. i.e.: it does not find series I know are available.

    Also channel count is not working. ( this is from a working EPG, not the one mentioned above.) See screenshot. Channel count should be -5600 in this case.

    The app looks great visually, but there is still a lot of untapped potential. For the final release, I suggest the following improvements:

    Improved Home Screen: Add a "Recently Added" section for movies and series directly on the home page.

    Full Customization: Users should be able to disable all banners for a cleaner, more personalized look.

    Relevant Trends: Stop showing "Trending" content that isn't actually available to stream.

    I hope to see these changes in the final version!
