    First post so hey all first off. My Z7+ arrived yesterday so been setting up and tweaking all last night but the one thing I can't get to work is the USB3 Gigabit Lan. It's a TP Link UE300 based on the RTL8153 chipset. Are they plug and play on the box or am I missing a trick on an install? I had a good search but didn't find my answer.

    Would you mind doing a speedtest comparing speeds with your ethernet cord plugged directly into the formuler and plugged in via your USB3 lan adapter. I'm curious to see if the adapter supports faster speeds because the ethernet port is really slow on the formuler.

  • EPG no longer has information

    My EPG stopped populating with channel information all of the sudden. All channels have "no information" as their channel. I've tried clearing EPG data, doing a software reset, factory reset, and reinstall the MYTVOnline app. I've also tried hardwired and wifi connections. How can I fix this?

  • Recording PVR, Timeshift questions

    I'm having trouble getting the PVR function to work properly. I have a USB formatted to fat32. A few questions:

    1. Does the PVR function (pause/record live TV) only work on channels that offer timeshift capabilities?

    2. My USB stick records whatever I'm watching in a "timeshift" file until it's full. After the stick is full it will no longer allow me to rewind live TV or schedule recordings. I have to delete that file in order to allow for the PVR function to work again. Is there a way to avoid this?

    3. Can I record live tv or future shows on an SD card?

    4. If I schedule a recording does my box have to be left on? Will it wake automatically if left in standby mode and record?

    5. Is there a way to delete files using the native file browser? I can only see options to view info but not delete. I've been having to delete the timeshift file from my PC.

    It was the adapter that came with the formuler box (w2). The box seems fine but the adapter formuler provided with it is dead. I bought it off a vendor from Amazon who said he doesn't have any replacements and since it's defective to contact the manufacturer directly.

  • Wifi not working

    My router settings are good. Besides my router settings wouldn't prevent my box from seeing the network. the Z7+ can't see any wifi networks at all. Even my mobile hotspot. It was working fine before the update and since then it has stopped.

    I've tried steps under the box and it doesn't work. I've reinserted, tried both USB ports, and wifi under android is activated. It just seems dead.

  • Wifi not working

    My wifi stopped working altogether recently. After the recent update it would connect for about 10 min then disconnect and was really spotty. I would goto wifi under settings and see my network but it wouldn't connect. I would click "forget" and try to connect by entering the password but it would always say "connect fail".

    I did a factory reset and since then I haven't been able to see any wifi networks. My router is fine, my phone and other computers around the house connect without any problem. I even brought the formuler in the same room as my router and tried using my phone as a hotspot but it doesn't find any networks under the wifi setting. The bluelight on the usb wifi dongle does blink when it's plugged in, and I tried switching USB ports but that didn't work.

    I plugged in an ethernet cable from my modem and it works fine.

    It seems like it just died completely? Any advice? Can I get a replacement? I haven't had this box for that long.
