Did all of that and there seems to be no issue with either the box or my provider. I tried two other apps and both of them showed the right information. Also the summaries are the right one. So far the only app that gives does not give the right summary is MOL. But I did notice its not all the time.

Thanks SAM. Changing the setting to UTC seems to have worked. Offset isn't working. I see the main EPG data is right, but the details underneath are wrong. For example, I am watching a documentary on trains. Which is correctly shown in the EPG with the right starting and ending time, but the details state documentary on dogs.

My IPTV supplier has detailed EPG data. So not just the title of the program but also a summary of the program. On most apps this works perfect. MOL has issues though. Upon starting MOL downloads EPG data and does show the main data (name of the show and the start and end time) but the summary is missing. If I go into EPG view some channels will start showing the summary. But only a few channels. Also, the summary is mostly wrong.
Whereas if I use anther program, the summaries are there and the summary is the right one.

My IPTV supplier offers catch-up for 3 days back. The problem is, this is logically linked to the EPG information being availbale for those days. It seems Formuler only keeps the EPG data for 1 day back and previous data is deleted. Is there a way to keep old EPG data for longer?

I had exactly the same issue. After the update this seems to be better.
-
Seems to work fine and the startup of MOL is much more stable. But remind function still not working.
-
That sounds like you lose the conenction for a while. Buffering, to me, means the screen freezes and you get the rotation symbol for a while.
-
As Rickiev, I experience no or very little buffering issues. The only setting I changed in MOL is I put the buffering time at the lowest. Otherwise, all plug and play. Plus a really good IPTV provider. He offers me the option to change sources for the stream if I do experience buffering. In 99% of the time, this solves any issue in those few cases there is an issue. If things cannot be solved, its almost always an issue with the source of the stream. This can even be streaming the wrong content. Changing sources solves this issue as well in most cases.
But don't forget: this is IPTV. If you want a perfect service 100% of the time, this is not for you. There always will be issues.

Since the latest update I experience the following:
MOL crashes when the source buffers and the provider updates the EPG at the same time
Reminder no longer works.
My provider offers catch-up. MOL does not seem able to play this, In other apps this function works.
-
Same here. Plus reminder in the EPG seems to have stopped working

I used to have the same buffering issues and I tried all the solutions given on this forum. Right now, I experience almost zero buffering. The solution was a new IPTV provider.
I am not an expert but buffering seems to be connected to the location of the server and the source used to supply the stream. And selecting another server or source will seriously improve the quality of a stream. As I noticed already several times. The provider I use now has pretty much a local server and the option to select sources. I experience the same service on MOL and the app of my supplier.
After seriously testing this solution for almost 2 months, I have now cancelled my standard TV sub. The quality of service is that good.

Thanks for a quick reply. Tried that, no cigar. I still have the old listings.

My IPTV supplier adviced me to logout from my app and log back in in order to reload the TV stations. I use MyTVOnline. Looked everywhere but I cannot seem to find this option. Anyone any idea how to solve this?
-
Thanks for the comment. But I use an m3u playlist so no UTC.

Same here. EPG just vanished. Tested: IPTV plus EPG with the same URL and login work fine on a range of appliances and apps. Also on Perfect Player on Formuler 7+. The only app where the EPG does not work, is MOL. Worked perfectly before, now getting the notification 'cannot load EPG data", also a noticable change in startup time. No change in IPTV supplier, URL's or anything. Firmware version v1.2.28. IPTV version v1.9.43

I had that issue as well. Basically, when you lose the connection to the IPTV provider, even for a second, the recording automatically stops and does not restart.
-
.ts. Not sure what player can play these files.
-
Subtitles only work when they are available. You can see this on the info screen. Bottom right has an icon 'sub'. When that is highlighted, the subs are available. But this is not on a lot of channels.
-
If you go into the menu and settings while in mytvonline you can select to use an external player for VOD. I have selected external and use MX Player. That gives you the full use of MX Player, including subtitles. The only issue I found with this, is that the movie has a number, not the name. So you have to manually enter the name of the movie. But this does give you subtitles. Not exactly what you look for, but there might be a better way along this route.

I understand this is an issue with your IPTV supplier. To do this, you need to have multiple streaming. Not all suppliers offer this. Most of the time you need to have 2 subscriptions I found.
-
I agree. This issue is most obvious when scolling down the EPG list. Some information is there but most is loaded like before.
-
Great work guys! Real difference for the better... A great product just became even better.

I have an external hard disk linked to my Z7+ so enjoying recording stuff. Today, I wanted to go directly from playlist to live TV so clicked the 'live' button on the remote. This however led to a screen asking me if I wanted to delete the recording.
-
Works like a dream. If there are any issues, almost all the time these are linked to the IPTV supplier. I tried an Android box before, but no comparison at all.
-
You're right. Its 10 seconds, my bad. Sorry. When I asked about this in the forum, I understood its a known thing. No idea why. Why the recording does not restart, no idea either.
-
I had this issue too. Basically, recording stops when the connection to the channel is lost. When the channel 'comes back' , recording isn't resumed. The advice I got was to extend buffering to 15 seconds.
-
Thanks for your reply. PLus, you are right: it is the provider. Good news, something was learnt

-
I just noticed that on most UK stations the EPG info is missing. Yesterday this worked just fine.
-
I have something a bit the same. Lots of times recording fails due to a sudden blip in the TV signal it seems. This aborts the recording immediately. But I suppose there's not much you can with that.
