Anytime I record on MYTVOnline, the playback is choppy. It seems to be recording to the internal storage but i would rather record to the 128GB USB drive installed. Please help.

Recording on Internal storage is not possible because this is reserved for OS, system, Apps etc. Please format your USB drive with Fat 32, better NFS only not with exFAT. Next Update comes with fix for exFAT.
If this not helps, try other USB Stick just to be sure the problem was not the USB Stick with 128GB. -
I have something a bit the same. Lots of times recording fails due to a sudden blip in the TV signal it seems. This aborts the recording immediately. But I suppose there's not much you can with that.

Yes, such signal loses or stream brakes stops the recording. Try to increase your Buffer in MOL settings up to 10sec. and check your connection.

I have the same issue using a 1TB USB 3.0 powered external drive on the Formuler USB 3.0 Port.

I'm having issues with recording mainly sports footy, rugby, racing ( seems to be with fast motion). Movies & TV shows record & playback perfectly. I use a micro sd fat32 for primary storage. The problem is when i try to playback my recorded sports the picture freezes and the audio becomes all choppy so its impossible to watch. Is there something im missing? Maybe a codec?

Not sure if you install at the beginning the needed codecs DD and DTS. See also -> Z Series Instructions / Z Serie Anleitungen

Thanks Sam. Installing the codecs definitely helped as the picture & audio no longer freeze & stutters like before. Still get the odd little hiccup on some recordings but miles better.

Hi,
glad it helped and thx for the feedback. For the hiccups could static IP help, set this and check also your router and give the Z7+ Box all needed rights (depends from Routers and settings). If you use Wifi you could try switch to ethernet connecton, just to see if other conn. is better. From time to time, check for all working or opened Apps in background and close this with holding "Menu Button" for 2 sec. and "Red Button".

Thanks for the extra tips i will definitely try the static ip to see if that helps. Cheers
