  • Formuler S Turbo KODI buffering

    Hello, I have Formuler S Turbo with the latest firmware 1.7.29. It is working good but by Kodi is there one problem - buffering. It is based on the operating memory. 1 GB RAM is to small for operating system and also good Kodi cache. Is there some possibility how to encrease RAM?

    Did you factory reset your device? and when?: In the last time no. It was not neccesary.

    I used many months Irdeto ICE card from slovak Skylink in universal slot. It was working with plugin Mcas and only in the Cryptoworks mode. I need to change it to irdeto.

    So I bought Irdeto modul SMIT Skylink ready. My old card is now in this modul and modul in CA slot. And this configuration is excellency working without any plugins. All plugins (also cateye) are deleted. Stability is high.

    Result: Formuler S Turbo with FW 1.6.66 cooperates with this modul directly.

  • Formuler S Turbo FW 1.6.26 & 1.6.28 unstability - how to downgrade to FW 1.6.11?

    Hi SAM,

    my problems with local network are not in rooter. All other devices are working OK. Formuler with FW 1.6.11 was also working OK. All problems started with upgrade on FW 1.6.26. Maybe there is some HW problem in Formuler, which was not so evident by FW 1.6.11. Naturally I tried to restart the rooter, I was working as IT specialist more then 40 years so I can we solve IT problems.

    Can you please report to Formuler, that to the serious market policy belongs also the possibility to downgrade to better stabile version. It is necessary to publish FW 1.6.11 file for USB downgrade. And also with possibility to chceck this file before use with md5 or other hash method.

    Now I have not only technical problem, but also family problem. My wife wants our Formuler in the old working status. And immediately without any discusion! The Christmas are in few days :smiling_face:

  • Formuler S Turbo FW 1.6.26 & 1.6.28 unstability - how to downgrade to FW 1.6.11?

    Hello, yesterday after the last FR I did this:

    - settings/instalation/null/FR

    - scann of channels by astra1 and astra3b where are my interesting stations

    - new channel list over channel editor

    So is satelite part working relatively good.

    But I use complex channel list for station in 6 different languages + sport, kids, music, news... To do it needs a time - more then 2 hours!!! It is pure waste of time.

    Problem with wifi remains. It is impossible to use internet and my local net. So is the android part of device for nothing.

    PLEASE, I need to go backwards to FW 1.6.11 !!! Give me way how to do it! At least give me FW 1.4.8 and re-update to FW 1.6.11 (this way exist by openbox devices, which are wery similar).

    I used the Formuler S Turbo with FW 1.6.11 since June 2018. It was working very good without any big problems to the moment of upgrade on FW 1.6.26.

    From this upgrade is device quite unstable:

    1) Launcher is unstable. Launcher is not response.

    2) Wifi has problems to connect and after succesfull connection do not hold stabile connection => unexpected disconnections. By FW 1.6.11 it was working OK.

    So I made also upgrade on FW 1.6.28, but the result is the same. Unstability. Naturaly I did also necessary factory resets.

    Then I tried to import my channel list from usb backup. After restart I received only black screen. It was unpossible to restart the device and so was necessary to do next factory reset and I was in error cycle.

    I guess, there is the only one good way - to do downgrade to FW 1.6.11. :thumbs_down:But how to do it? Where can I find it as file for usb import ??? :frowning_face:

  • S-Turbo turns off

    Hello, I have the similary problem. My FW is 1.6.11. When I switch formuler on (not from standby, but full on), formuler starts but mostly after then I can see the blinking station's information and then goes formuler in a few seconds directly to standbay.

  • Internet radio application

    Hello, Simple Radio works, but has not so many radio stations and the user interface is to simple. There is no possibility to find stations by country, city, genre etc. In the past I tested on my phone many radio applications, but only myTuner meets all my requirements for internet radio. Try it and you will see the difference. I think, that so good equipment as Formuler S Turbo need not only good IPTV applications, but at least one good internet radio (and in future directly in his market).

    I found yesterday one way, how to use myTuner on Formuler S:

    - Install firefox browser

    - in firefox open https://mytuner-radio.com/

    Is is indirect way, not so good as direct application, but better as nothing.

  • Internet radio application

    On Formuler S boxes the is no really good android application for internet radio. In market is no radio, so I tried to download some from GooglePlay. But I can not find something, what is good an works in formulers android. I recomend to use in future the myTuner Free which at this moment only stops. Please, can somebody tests why? Can you resolve this problem? It is very good application and has thousands radio stations arround the world.
