The auto zoom and aspect ratio change is horible (up to date Z12 ultra). I would rather have the option to disable it and have an option to change it manually. When looking to a film with subtitles rendered over the black bar in the bottim the film will now resize a couple of times per minute.

Push info button and or arrow up i thought, and select then the screen ratio. Do original aspect ratio and should be okay?
Check also autozoom in your tv options and turn it off

A friend has a Formular Z11 Max Pro after the latest update, the menu came up "reload your playlist" he clicked on it and now the menu is spinning and he can't get out of it. He has cut off the power and tried all the tricks he can, nothing helps. He hasn't made a backup of the latest software (the update that came this week! What should/can he do???
Remove cache? And restart box.
If that doesn't help uninstall mytvonline3 and reboot device and install it again via Market app (green logo with white trolly)
Also install "audio optimizer" and run it once, if he didn't do it already.
Ps. Backup of software/firmware is not possible.

You can uninstall it with the app "adb manager" from playstore
Give it the right rights and enable by press 10 times on buildnumber in android settings. And enable usb-debugging and search for that app in adb manager and uninstall it by red button.

Hello, I noticed a bug and wanted to report it and see if any of them have ever had the problem. This morning I started reading a film that didn't start, it happens... the problem is that afterwards, nothing could start and even when I went back to Live TV, I had a black screen and the same thing on the other providers set up on my Z12. Actually, it made me buggy. Only a power-off and a restart brings it back to normal.
Try next time refresh from menu, Contentmanager, contentsources, sync data.
Your box was in standby i think. Most providers throw you out after 6-8 hours not watching tv. Changing channel can help, a refresh or a restart.

Just curious, did you bought it from official seller? Because the gtv was rhe first with the bluetooth remote i added as image. But if you are happy with the "standard ir" remote it's okay.

Thank you for your reply, but I believe this will not be possible.
My remote control is IR (infrared) only and does not support Bluetooth, so pairing is not possible.After the factory reset, when I start the Formuler device, it forces me to pair a RCU.
I would like to know if there is any way to skip or bypass this pairing screen so I can continue the setup using an IR RCU.Thank you in advance for your help.

Gtv has a bluetooth remote. If you have other remote delivered it's not good. You can't bypass pairing mode. If you have a gtv buy a formuler bt1 remote.

I am experiencing an issue with my Formuler GTV, and despite several attempts, I have not been able to resolve it.
The device stopped booting properly and was permanently stuck on the Android TV logo.
I therefore performed a factory reset following the official procedure described on the Formuler website.Since this reset, during startup, I am asked to pair the remote control, but unfortunately, this step cannot be completed.
When I follow the pairing procedure (pressing OK + Menu simultaneously):
- nothing happens,
- no confirmation message appears,
- the pairing process does not start.
I have already tried all the solutions suggested on the forum, including:
- removing the batteries,
- inserting new batteries,
- holding the buttons longer,
- repeating the procedure multiple times,
but without success.However, I noticed something unusual:
- when I press the OK or Menu button individually, the remote’s LED lights up in white,
- when I press OK + Menu at the same time, the LED does not light up at all.
This makes me think there could be an issue with the remote control itself or with the pairing mode after the factory reset.
Has anyone experienced this issue before or found a solution?

With other device? Tv or so? disconnect from tv.
And or if you are in setup pair menu. Do first 0(zero) and ok button together for 2-3 seconds. Remote should be reset.
Then hold ok and menu and see what happen at pairing modus.

Today Feb 01 2026 I turned on my formuler z12 ultra after not using it for a few weeks. I saw there was a firmware update and pressed update. It appeared to be updating fine but would not come back to life. It starts, shows the formuler z12 ultra logo then shuts off and tries again on a continuous loop. I've unplugged it, did a factory reset and every other option I could find online to no success. It appears to have been bricked by this firmware update. Can anyone help me?

No, the first time need to activated without vpn in country where it is bought.
If you go true setup and setup internet it comes already with the block.
you skip maby internet, but you need to install vpn.
Before that you already connected with your home isp. And then comes the block. You can't connect with before internet is online
I use Surfshark VPN and sometimes the connection drops, spinning symbol.
If I disconnect the VPN and choose the same channel it works.
If I reconnect the VPN it works.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
Do you use wifi? Wifi can drop connections.
Try if possible utp cable.
Try other protocol with surfshark. Maby it helps.

I thought only option is to add wifi manual.

I think you need to send it back and buy a box in the country you life.
I don't understand why they geoblock there devices. But that's not on me.

Told him about the DNS error but he will or cannot understand me. send also screenshots from the errors on the screen. The service was always very goed until the cloudflare error came on. Maybe SAM can help me?
In had it last year. Got also other new portal url first. But didn't work. Changed private dns to quad9. Didn't work also solved not the problem.
Then they changed something on the portal website and it was fixed.

I have a Formuler Z12 Ultra. A question: I have unmarked all countries i dont use+channels from my proider.Then suddenly all countrys are marked again.Is there any solution to this?Some of the providers i have has many countries and channels so lots of work to get rid of them again.

Contact provider and say: remove all my countries please, except belgium and france or so.
The countries you watch, give them to provider. They select then only that bouquettes.
And then you need to refresh your sub and remove the rest of the groups.

The Formuler Z8 is no longer Google certified and remains on Android 7.(Start of Sales : 2020/10)
Next year formuler Z10 Pro (Start of Sales : 2021/10)

It never was google certified due Android aosp.
The only Google certified box was the Formuler GTV.
(But not Netflix certificated due Netflix itself)
Go for the Z12 Ultra or so.

It's not yet official to buy separately.
Yet it comes only with the Z12 Ultra.
What the store can do is take one from another Z12 and send that one to you.
And if the bt3 remotes are for sale, they can sent the faulty back for new one or so.

It's iptv service problem.
They should set it up as a channel. But they set it upnthat channel as vod.
Contact provider and tell them which country and which channel it is, so they can solve it.

Hello, I would like to know how to set a wallpaper on the Formulare. JPEG and JPC files are not recognized in the wallpaper folder. Is there a trick?
In the picture folder on the main storage you put them with "file manager plus" or so.
Jpg works for me.

Now today my Fomuler Z12 is silent again. I have tried the volume on the right side and also the one on the top. I can't find the one that SAM (Surroundsound) means. I assume it is under Formuler settings. The error appears on both MOL2 and other apps. I haven't restarted today but will see if anyone can come back with tips here before that I can try.

Go to home were all apps are.
Select Cogwheel upper right corner (click not ok, you see menu with 6 blocks)
Go to surround sound
Select formats
Click on "none" never use surround
After that click firect sgsin on automatic sound (above)
Need to sort out vod and series on all models play 75% of th content and then just keeps buffering tried this on number pf services and all seem to have same issue but yet change to different device no issues
Do you use a vpn? Which one?
If it's Nordvpn then you need to turn off "post quantum encryption" and choose other protocol like Nordwhisper and or OpenVPN tcp protocol..
