Thank you for your quick answer. It would be nice if your information would be written somewhere with the unit which I got. It would have saved me money and a lot of time.

I will try with another cable which has the leads according to your drawing and three RCA connectors. Most likely it works fine, the wires are possibly used in a not transparent way (browsing the net I found more than one way the mini jack can be wired). I also will try using the S/PDIF connection.

I recently bought a Formuler S Turbo and wanted to hook up the sound to my stereo equipment using the A/V out. Doing this the output signal from the A//V out had a strong humm over the audio, making the signal unusable. As soon as the unit is turned on - even with no cables attached to it - the humm starts, which can easily be checked by plugging in a earphone to the A/V out. I returned the device to the dealer for fixing but the dealer is not able to fix it (I sent it back twice). He now tells me he has to wait for a software update which fixes the problem.

I use a cable with a jack as shown above which has two RCA plugs on the other end for the left and right stereo channels. Is this correct?

Is anyone using the A/V out connected to a stereo amp and experienced the same problem?
