I haven't done a full power off or restart since, but in and out of standby is working fine.

Hopefully this was a onetime occurrence.

Update: Left the room with the z7+ on and sitting in the "Preparing to Start" state. When I came back it had finally booted to the desktop. Was gone for an hour or so, not sure how long it took. But it was more than 20 minutes at least. Launched MYTVONLINE and everything working like normal.

Now I'm afraid to turn it off again lol.

z7+ was in standby (LED red) with TV off. Turned TV on, hit the STB button on the remote, z7+ LED turned green but nothing came on the screen. Disconnected power on the z7+ and waited 10 seconds, plugged it back in, watched it go through the initial boot. Got to the point that the pink desktop background loaded and it said "Preparing to Start" in the center of the screen with the spinning circle underneath.

And then nothing. Normally it loads the desktop within a few seconds. It's been sitting like that for 10 minutes now. I've tried power cycling a few times. Not sure what else to try. Please help.

Just contacted my reseller and switched my sub to MAC based. Reconfigured MYTVONLINE accordingly and now the EPG is working fine.

Time to switch to MAC then and see if it makes a difference.

No effect.

I also tried removing the M3U8 urls completely and reconfiguring the app. I rebooted the box in between too. Still no extended EPG data.

Using an M3U8 Playlist, I have EPG working from my provider but it only contains show titles and start/end times. The description data is missing.

The provider is telling me the description data is in their EPG feed, and the descriptions are showing properly in other IPTV apps like Perfect Player and their custom APK. Not sure where to go from here to figure this out. Please help.

Is this something that we might see soon? I get that timeshifting content that's 4k is probably beyond the capabilities of the hardware, but most of the IPTV content is 1080p or less anyway. Could the system be coded to allow for timeshifting based on the resolution of the content rather than the resolution of the connected TV?

Asking because I get a much smoother experience when I have the resolution set to 4k. It's still lower resolution content so the picture isn't any different, but in any of the sub-4k resolutions I get occasional stutter in picture, especially when the camera pans horizontally. I don't know if it's my TV or the Z7+ tho. I've tried the various refresh rates and it doesn't seem to make a difference, but in 4k the problem disappears.

Anyway, I hate having to choose between timeshifting and a good viewing experience.
