  • Pre-Loaded Apps on GTV & lack of ..

    Could the DEV team please release an update to NEW GTV units with a basic file browser ... same like on Z8 and Z8Pro pleeeeze.

    As a reseller I dont want to sign into Google Play to install a file browser. I just want to add my private apps for customers and enter the portals for them

    and then let them do as they please when they get home. It would be a huge help and time saver if you guys could do this. OR at least set it up in the new

    units being setup before packaging so the next batches we get will have it. I was quite surprised to see no type of file browser at all. ( even AFTNews downloader would be slick )

    While i'm typing I will relay some client thoughts Volume Up/Down and Page Up/Down are far too small and not ergonomically located or sized. And FF/Rew sure would be nice.

    other complaints I had are no Optical Port anymore ?? Just food for thought when the 4Gb model gets released. he he Thanks For reading.:upside_down_face:

  • What should I pay attention to when setting up GTV?

    A word of advice to save y'all from having any initial issues. ( saying from my first experience ) When you first plug in the GTV and after pairing remote and connecting to internet, just be PATIENT and let it sit for several minutes without doing Anything. You will then see in top right corner the number go up to 3 or 4 for available notices/updates. THEN click up there starting from the top update and PATIENTLY do them one by one until all updates are installed. I made the mistake of installing several 3rd party apps and setting up a couple portals too quick and then the large ( 600+mb ) MyTvOnline update happened and it wiped everything I loaded. Patience is the key, get in a rush and you're box might become unhappy with you. I've already setup my first 20pcs and so far so good.

  • Record one Channel/Watch Another

    Your IPTV Provider should also have MOL2 enabled on their panel and the latest JavaScript update ( v5?) However, I still havent got the Z8 series to perform this action correctly, even with 3 or 4 lines enables. I know with other PVR devices you require a " dual tuner " and that is similar to the 2 lines aspect on an XtreamCodes panel, in theory at least. I'll try it on the new GTV and see if it works and report back. ( I do know other player apps that perform this action well )

  • formuler 7 z+ won't turn on (red light)

    This seems like a checksum file ? Not sure how it can bring the device into boot mode without an actual boot file to wake the device up. This file does nothing for me, does not wake the box at all.. My customer just wants to order a new box off Amazon Prime and send this one back a few days later so the company can deal with it. Generally I try and discourage this behavior, but she's tired of my loaner device and wants the box she paid for. Makes no sense that a dealer can't get a boot rom file to fix a device that could be easily fixed, or so I would think it could be. I've written ROMs to more boxes than I can count, every other company I sell for, i.e. Zoomtak, Beelink, Global Media, and my bestsellers BuzzTv ALL provide me with the tools I need to keep devices working. The customer had this box for 1 week and then one day it just doesn't boot up.

    Baffles me why there is no reset button on this device, unless it's hidden on the board, and I have yet to crack this open to see if it's in there, and was hoping to NOT have to that due to the warranty terms.

  • formuler 7 z+ won't turn on (red light)

    Instead of starting a new thread or topic I'll just add to here being as I am having this issue

    I'm a reseller of Formuler devices.

    I had a customer bring back a Z7+ ( external wifi model ) and buyer told me it just would no longer power on.

    red light is on, I've tried power supply from a new in box unit. Nothing.

    How do I hard reset or factory restore this device ? Where is the factory firmware AND how do I bring it to restore mode ?

    Need info asap plz.
