Box is still under warranty. We sent it to the formuler factory to check it and they said that it cannot be fixed. How does this work? I think since it is still under warranty they should replace it and send us another box no?

I buy my original Formuler boxes from my local agent who stocks Formuler boxes. I have a client who had issues with his hdmi port as box was losing signal. Few months ago it it stopped working and it started showing a black screen. I gave it to my local agent who sent it to Formuler factory to check it out. After 2 months of waiting, his response was that it cannot be fixed, even though it is under warranty. Is this true please? I can send you mac address and box id of the box to check it out if you want.

Have you ever had this screen mode on GTV? when it switches on this shows up on screen. When I press home it works well but this keeps showing as soon as box powers on.

Hi, I have a Gtv and Z10pro max and lately I have been having an issue with live channels. It shows error http521 and sometimes channels work, sometimes they do not. On tvips, magboxes and android boxes service works fine. Issue is only on Formulers. Can you help pls? I have attached the error showing on the channel.

This is nonsense! Without the app there will be lots of VODS with no sound! Formuler fix this issue ASAP

Hi, has anybody encountered the issue of failed vod data after latest update please? I have to disconnect and connect again to work. Sometimes even switching off the box completely. Other friends of mine have encountered the same issues. All of them after updating.

Is anydesk on gtv used to view desktop or can it also be used to access remotely the box?

I'm asking because when I'm trying to access remotely it is only letting me to view desktop.

I agree with you Bandook. Issue is with codecs! I provided the audio and video formats which are not working. So it shouldn't be really difficult to understand what the problem is...

I tried with an external player (mx player pro) and they play fine. So issue is definitely with internal player of MOL2 in GTV. It does not play mkv files with mpeg4 and mp3 formats. Kindly fix in the next update.

Iptv - firmware version latest one (v1.4.85-r)

Connection - Mac with MOL2 (it does that on M3u too)

As you can see from video, all videos with this format (mkv - mpeg4/mp3) do not play. You can try one yourself with same format and see that this is the case.

I would appreciate if you fix this annoying issue which is making the GTV box an inoperable box.

I invite members to try a movie/series on mytvonline2 on gtv with these formats: mpeg4 as streaming video and mp3 as audio and kindly reply here if mytvonline2 manages to play it successfully. I have tried several files to no avail. Then, I tried these on formuler z8, alpha and other streaming apps and and they all work easily without any issues. So the problem here is with gtv. I ask the developers if they can look into this annoying issue pls.

Fyi: this should have been addressed in this update. Also, Teamviewer quick support was not fixed. We can only monitor and not fully control remotely. All these limitations make the z8 and z8 pro better than the GTV unfortunately

Few weeks ago I reported this issue and they told me that this was going to be solved with the next update. I can show you the screenshot if you want!

The developers told me and assured me that in the next update this was going to be fixed! It sucks bigtime that in MOL2 lots of formats do not work! So you are mistaken when saying that mol2 cannot be updated to play different formats! Gtv should play these formats as the z8 and z alpha do.

I'm sorry to say but I'm very disappointed with the new update of GTV. Developers were saying that they have surprises and that there were going to be lots of fixes but issues for me are still there.

For example: episodes in MOL2 with mpeg4 and mp3 format still need an external player to play! I have my formuler z alpha and z8 which play these formats without any issue after installing the necessary codecs which is done automatically by the boxes. However, on the Gtv, no good codecs are installed for these formats. I had high expectations but when I tried the formats and it asked me to use an external player I was highly disappointed because older and cheaper boxes such as the Z alpha can play these while the Gtv, a newer and more expensive box cannot!

Does this update solve the issue for MOL2 to play certain files with its internal player? I hope that new codecs will be installed with this new update.

Hi, tried that and box still restarting. I have friends who have gtv as well and tried the series and their gtv boxes are restarting too.

I also tried the series on my Formuler Z8 and it works fine so issue is with the certain series and gtv only.

I have a gtv which is restarting with certain mkv files which have h264 and aac codecs. Tried other boxes and all episode play fine. It seems issue is with MOL2 and GTVS only. I guess incompatibility is the case. Anybody has encountered these type of issues? Hopefully an update for MOL2 should fix all these issues

If it gets fixed, it would be great as gtv is a fantastic box. Hope they fix teamviewer quicksupport too. Thanks

Thanks for your replies. However, I would not like to use an external player. I want to use the internal one that comes originally with MOL2. My question was why does the GTV have no integrated codec to play mpeg4/mp3 files like the Z8.

Yes it is off and still it asks me for an external player. It seems a gtv issue with codec.

After installing the newest update my iptv is showing code error 7. Contacted the provider as he told me that my ip gets blocked frequently. I never use same account on two devices. Only on 1. This happens only on Formuler devices.

Try uninstalling the headphones and install them once again. This has happened to my bose too and then I reinstalled and all was fine.

Hi, after the recent update, my formuler z8 switches off automatically when powered on with the power adapter. If I put box on standby after use or even power it off with remote, led turns red from green (as it should do) and if I power it on once again with remote it works normally. Box only switches off when removing the adapter pin and reconnect it again to the dc port. I spoke to my friends who also have a formuler z8 and they have the same issue. Has anybody encounter this same problem pls?

Hi, I'm having same problem, I have a code 7 error on mytvonline2 on z8. I'm doing nothing wrong. I just have my portal on the app and sometimes ip is blocking for no reason. And I have to contact my provider to unblock me again. Could it be that formuler is blocking the ip address pls?
