I also still get reboots from time to time. Had it happen also in TVOnline. It almost seems like a memory leak.

I checked it first on my mobile phone with the mytvonline android app.
I have 7 channels. Is that correct?
Sic, tvi and cnn are playing fine.
the other 4 channels i get error on my phone.
gonna check it on my Z11 box now my friend.
That's it. This list is just a sample but there are more channels from the RTP broadcaster that also don't play on MYTV but do on GSEiptv or on the browser. The codec seems the same as others. It's not a VPN issue. I tried with a standard portuguese ISP and throught VPN servers. Thank you for your help.

It’s possible that it won't play. )Correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought mytvonline can't play rtp streams.)
RTP it's the broadcaster name not the stream format. The stream is AAC/H264 as others that play. I attached a small sample of channels. Those from RTP broadcaster don't play on MYTV.

Hi. There is a portuguese m3u list that contains the free over-the-air channels. However the channels from the portuguese national broadcaster don't play on MYTV 2 on my Z10 neo or on MYTVonline app (both iOS and Android). This is one of those channels. I watch it with no problem on GSE IPTV app or even on the browser:
https://streaming-live.rtp.pt/liverepeater/smil:rtp1HD.smil/playlist.m3u8
Is there a solution for this?

I'm seeing the same issue. If I copy the URL to the browser I can download the list file and that works as a local list. As other users have said, the URL works fine in other apps. I've copy and pasted the URL to be sure it is correct. This is a problem with the current firmware.

Remove the sdcard and retry with a usb flash disk or external hard disk.
Also post which firmware version you are using.
Already tried with a fast USB flash drive. Same problem. It happens with some channels, not all.
My guess is that it's something to do with the player's capacity to read some files/how it saves that files. Either because of the bitrate or the codec settings for some channels. Viewing the files with MX Player creates a similar issue: instead of the freezes it slows down the image in regular intervals. This "slow motion" effect was also visible on some live channels some time ago but it seems to have been fixed with an update.
Here is the codec information for 2 recordings: codec details
One has no issues and the other has the freezes when playing in the Formuler STB. Both files play fine on a computer directly from the SD card.
The firmware is the last one. I have no updates pending (both on the Z+ and the Z7+).

Which method are you using to playback the recordings?
Go to playlist and choose a recording. Same thing happens on the timeshift recording. It worked fine when I got the STBs with the same microSD cards.

Don`t know if you have done factory reset yet but it is worth to try. Also, to format the memory card like in this article ->How to format Micro SD card, USB flash drive, pen drive, hard drive or SSD for use with Z and S Boxes.
Did a factory reset and used rufus with NTFS, ExFAT and FAT32. Same result. I can see the recordings just fine on a PC directly from the card.

Just discovered this thread. I'm having the exact same issues and, as others reported, playing recordings was fine when I first got the STBs (Z7+ and Z+). Starting a few months ago I get freezes every few seconds (on timeshift and recordings). I see no problems when playing the recording files on a computer straight from the same memory card.
I tried to format the cards in every configuration possible but the problems remain. Something seems to be broken on the embedded player.

A factory reset solved but the update still showed 2.0.4. Think it it's the system update and not MYTVOnline.

I also have a 2.0.4 update on both a Z+ and a Z7+. Removing the SD card didn't fixed it.
