Strange? I was able to download all hub channels with no issues. Have you tried restarting the box?

Using 2 or 5G? If 5G, check what channel u r using and perhaps change the wifi channel. That may change things with the connection strength.
Thanks UN....already done that. It’s connected via Ethernet with a CAT6. If I do put it on WiFi it’s 5G and I’ve got a WiFi analyzer and it’s on a channel no one else is.

1. Here is very useful thread from Cob for UK users, please read and try - >Z8 ethernet connection issue
2. If VPN in use, check also if this is not the source of the problem.
Hi Sam...
I did the above when I first got the box back in March. It worked beautifully until the update came out. I’ve gone back into the settings to make sure nothing changed and it hadn’t. Also sky shied is turned off..

Yep I was with plusnet before update, and like yourself my router is an metre away too!
I increased the buffer time within mytvonline and it helped a bit but still fluctuates a lot
Thanks Shain..I really can’t believe that we can be the only ones who have this issue...I’ve changed nothing apart from update it and that’s where the problem started.

Thanks mevi I’ll try with an Ethernet I’m gonna go to bed as I’ve got work tomorrow in the morning!
But I’ll try it and will get back to you
sorry mate but it’s got nothing to do with Ethernet either. My Z8 is less than 1 meter away from router plugged in router. It won’t be your provider either...was you with plusnet before the update?

No I haven’t tried wired as my router is not where the box is. Speed test is fine it says 40 mbps download. I’ve changed to static and I’ve deserted the box
Now it fluctuates from 1 and 0 bars. Before it was perfect no issues, do you think it could be something to do with my router?
Also just tried personal hotspot and it’s still fluctuating with 0 to 1 bar do you think this could also be an provider issue?
Personally I’d say no that it has nothing to do with your router. I’ve changed routers and still have the problem. Also it’s not a provider issue either..I supply my own content so know it works..and tried other devices and they work perfectly no buffering.

This is the same problem I have...it was never a problem before the first update.

Did you try to increase the buffer setting?
Yes I’ve increased and decreased a few times...doesn’t make a difference.
Remove the services from mytvonline2, force stop an clear the data in the applications options. Ask your provider to reset your line (disable an enable). Add your service details back into mytvonline2. Job done 👍
I am the provider lol..and yes I’ve reset it doesn’t make a difference.

Hi...
I’m looking for some help please...I’ve had my Z8 since launch. Everything was absolutely perfect it ran all day everyday without any problems. Since the recent update I’ve had nothing but issues with it constantly buffering. I’ve tried changing the buffering time in the menu to no avail. My internet speed is more than adequate to run IPTV. And It’s a new modem router. I’ve also got an Amazon Firestick of which my service works perfectly. I’m also a provider of my own streaming service. Is it something the dev guys can look into or has someone got a solution? Thank you in advance.

Glad it’s back up and running mate 👍🏻

Hi guys...
I’ve had a look at other post however can’t see anything that matches my issue. Sorry if I’ve missed something and duplicated something.
My issue is since the latest update (beta version) I’ve had buffering issues. When I press the info button the signal bar only shows between 1-2 blocks..before it was always full.
When I change channel it changes straight away however after a couple of seconds I get the loading wheel and then connects. I’ve resorted to going into mytvonline and changing the buffering time to 7 seconds.
If got fairly adequate download speed that averages out at around 35meg so should be more than enough to run as it did.
Any help would be appreciated 👍🏻
Sorry forgot to had I’m on the Z8 😊

CodeIT I’ve just gone through all the necessary steps and it’s been running now on Ethernet for around an hour and half without any blips. Before I did this it would only stay on for a few minutes. I think it’s sorted out the issue 👍🏻

Hi guys..I’ve only just purchased my first Formuler box after being recommended it by my IPTV provider. However I’m having real issues with the the internet connection keeping dropping out. It’s both on the cabled and WiFi. It works fine for around 20 minutes and then gone. It’s got the latest version of the firmware and also software. Any help would be great fully received 🙏
