If you have more than 1 service they’re all in the same list, no need to disconnect and reconnect - I actually really dislike this. I was using the mol app on my telephone and it allows you to collapse your tv services so you only see the groups in that particular service. I wish I could do the same with mol 3

But consider you can pin channel sections and reorder them how you like.

You don’t necessarily need to have everything in one list.

Of course you can also create custom groups and have that in your list instead.

Lots of things you can do.

I see your point on collapsing groups / provider, that would be nice to see in mol3. I do believe it’s been a feature request for some time so maybe it will appear at some point.

For now, there is options and workarounds

I agree to the above,i am missing improvements on EPG on XC connection,if these are technically impossible to improve, just let us know so that we can switch to MAC-ID connection!

The only epg situation mentioned in beta and final release was:

    • FIX: EPG data disappears after playing catchup from Grid EPG

The 24hr main epg has seen no change for sometime. I’d expect devs are trying various options and as yet no suitable outcome.

Could also assume many other things to work on were seen as priority as per the changelogs.

I’m sure when or if the devs have something to note on main epg using XC, Sam will let us all know.

I can't see the export portal details to MYTVOnline+ mobile app in my content manager/content source

    content manager > content sources

See icons such as refresh edit etc, select the icon at the end to the right, looks like an arrow in a box pointing up. Highlight that and it will say “Export Portal Data”

Select it and follow the onscreen instructions

Oh, well, on the contrary, I have three Z11 pro max on the go with one of them BT1 edition.

I have to say, MOL3 is incredible in comparison to MOL2.

If you have more than 1 service they’re all in the same list, no need to disconnect and reconnect

I find it more fluid to use overall and I don’t appear to have the issues the many others report. We have to understand aswell that different providers have different setups which undoubtedly cause issues for some.

Remember Formuler will only have so many subs to test their software against.

I think many forget that a lot goes into mytvonline whichever version it is so patience is needed.

There really is no better app for IPTV than what Formuler provide, coupled with their boxes you have the look and feel of a cable to sat service. This explains why 99% of other Android boxes have fallen by the wayside.

Firestick days are absolutely numbered when it comes to sideloading, Amazon are 1 click away from stopping you doing it.

Mytvonline3 is a great upgrade from mytvonline2 and Formuler are doing what they can to make it the best it can be.

Sure there is the odd things that could be improved for usability but it’s minor for what you are actually getting.

I would say the most common issues most report is 24hr main epg and the long winded way to refresh (could do with a refresh option same as mol2 alongside the automated option) but overall that’s the main couple of things.

Those will rollbacks, it doesn’t affect everyone, it can depend on the users setup with buffer time set to long or short, if they are using a vpn or not etc. additionally as I said at the start, it could be to do with something the providers side of which MOL3 needs tweaking. I understand some report there’s no issue on Z10 series or Z8 etc but remember those had these issues too at one stage and eventually were sorted out. Same goes for Z11.

Maybe the Formuler team could do with a huge load of subscriptions to test against, of which provide them and see what happens.

sorry for the long post, I wanted to highlight that there’s so many variables when it comes to IPTV, it can be hard and take time to sort things out.

But in summary, Z11 series is excellent, box wise the same as previous but MTOL3 is what makes it an outstanding flagship series of devices.

And I’d be shocked if at some point you don’t see a GTV or variation of it with MOL3 on the horizon!

Can see in the IPTV world the rebranders have already jumped on it and created their “custom” version allowing it on other devices!

I’m an advocate to ensure you keep customers safe and the only way to do that is buy the legit versions. don’t risk your service being taken offline because of untrustworthy people.

If you see rebranders offering it, don’t get it… stick with Formuler direct!

Thats very rare that a provider doesnt support portal or m3u.

    Formuler accept all three.

The app m3u and xc. Maby also portal.

    Check it.

That’s the avenue all providers will be moving towards.

MAC, M3U and URL are some of the biggest risks for IPTV providers.

    Many have already implemented this.

url hardcoded so all their customers log in with just user & pass

Formuler has been very gracious to allow config for MTOL2 & MTOL3 to handle this method.

Great work by Formuler as always!

Hello everyone I have a z11pro I have a problem because I can't get the channels but the vod there is without problem

Manual refresh of the sub should pull the channels through. if the live tv option overall is missing this should do the same.

Go into VOD or whatever option you can enter and do the following:

menu > content manager > content sources

Select your sub and then click refresh

you can go through data sync but I find in the very rare instance this has occurred, the above method sorts it

Great update but what do you mean exactly with this points?

    • IMP: Improved support for VOB subtitles
    • IMP: Improved auto-update UX
    • IMP: Improved channel retry UX

It is my understanding that for VOB files, this is data contained within the video stream such as subtitles etc

I would think they’ve also improved the auto update feature when you set your time to automatically refresh contents and or background refreshing when new content is found

Improved channel retry, I assume this could be when you select a channel and there might be an issue with it, MTOL will retry to load the stream more comprehensively than before. You have retry settings within player options anyway.

Of course keep in mind, if the stream is dead then it’s dead, the retry is to try and load it if it’s available.

I could be wrong on the above points relating to the update but that would be my understanding based on how MTOL normally functions

Z11 Pro - I reset the box first as was dealing with another issue. Now when I try to enter anything there is no keyboard coming up - factory reset 0000 now is not working. Nothing happens.

Downloaded the new beta - still same issues as above, can't reset, no keyboard to enter portal settings - things just fallen over completely and can't be used. Not sure where to go with this as if it won't reset and it won't open a keyboard for settings - think i'm dead in the water with the box.

On the keyboard situation, it is very rare for that to happen and for it not to work but I did notice it on someone’s box and this method resolved it:

Formuler Home Screen > Settings > Apps > See All Apps > Show System Apps > Gboard > uninstall updates

    keyboard should work then

I’ve had to attempt restore from backup but since the latest updates it doesn’t appear to have worked.

When restoring it gets to 20% and kicks me out of MTOL3

Did a factory reset and also reformatted USB then backed up and tried to see if restore worked with the same result as above.

Tested on Z11 pro max and Z11 pro with different USB and same result.

If you want to universal search from live tv simply have any live channel onscreen and press green button on your remote control.

To consider “All” category in Movies and Series, simply open the “Newly Added” option and search from there. Universal search will go search all categories anyway

There is one caviat with the universal search, in most cases it needs to be text specific so the spelling must be correct for it to locate the title.

Also with reference to the comment in the above posts, if you don’t know the title then you are correct, having no “all” category makes browsing limited if you don’t know what section your show is held. There is no workaround for this.

I also wish we were able to use MOL2 on Z11...i personally dont like the Universal Search, Searching in MOL2 was so much easier you could choose ALL and select Year to search for newest available in VOD and it would search...so easy....then they changed it to this ....hopefully they either change the Search features OR at least give an option to users to choose between MOL2 or MOL3 for the Z11's

But you can just go to the “newly Added” section and treat that as “ALL” and then search from there and it will search everything anyway….

Similar to the above posts I have noticed an increase in unable to load VOD and series.

Refreshing using data sync sometimes sorts it but over the past week or so, I’ve had to go through content sources and refresh that way.

Only then does it pull the information through properly so content can be viewed.

Something that might be noteworthy here.

If you refresh using data sync aside from it being set for a particular time, you of course notice when content has arrived by the notification and then the option to refresh.

However, if like me you have multiple TV services and VOD only service, during data sync refresh, when the icon appears telling you to refresh, don’t press that, go to content sources and you’ll notice that the other services are still refreshing!

Why is this important you may ask?

Well, I mentioned above that when the refresh icon appears due to content being received, naturally you’ll press it. However if content is still updating for your other services, the same refresh icon 99% of the time does not reappear when the content pull is complete.

So it’s easy to assume that you’ve refreshed but actually may not have refreshed everything.

So unless the icon appears. The content pull isn’t known unless you check through content sources.

Where to find the info in content sources you ask?

Well when you refresh within this menu or even the normal data sync menu, underneath your service name, there will be a flashing icon abit like an epg… if that’s flashing, content is still refreshing.

    All of that aside…

I’ve read before that mytvonline automatically searches for content every 3 hours so you shouldn’t need to manually refresh, if that’s true, The feature from what I can tell has never worked. The only automatic refresh I’ve experienced is on the time you’ve manually set it to.

I think MTOL3 is an amazing upgrade to previous versions, it’s really good, however the content refresh needs work to streamline and function better.

For multiple services, the refresh notification that new content has arrived shouldn’t appear until all services has pulled the updated content (if any) or simply refreshed the sub.

So in a nutshell, I think from what I’ve experienced, the VOD error is attributed by the refresh operation.

Did The backup, cleaned the cache, did a restore and it's working much quicker.

Glad that sorted it for you.

Mytvonline3 may appear to slowdown on loading every so often but it is a powerful platform in comparison to previous versions.

Moving forward, now that you’ve initially cleared cache, backup and restored, periodically backup again and if you experience a slowdown, just head straight to the restore from backup option and you’ll be good to go.

It's happening with my Z11 Pro, MTOL 3 will spin for about 2-3 minutes also. It doesn't happen with my Z11 Pro Max, both boxes have all the latest updates.

To me it sounds like you fully power off when not in use (I do this too)

When you power on it’s taking a while to load mytvonline3

So… if it’s done so on first boot, for example you’ve you’ve powered off and gone to bed, you wake up in the morning and power back on, when MTOL loads up, depending on your auto update settings, it’s likely completing a content pull at the same time as booting and therefore it will take a little extra time depending on servers etc.

    So aside from that….

I have mentioned that if you backup and then restore from backup, it should speed things up.

Of course you don’t need to do that all the time, just so you can see if this improves the loading time.

Again, as per posts above, it would help if you could also advise what your setup is. It may help.

I don’t recall seeing any posts that this issue is seen by others but I could be wrong and if so hopefully they can reach out.

It may help if you can advise how you are connecting.

    MAC or XC API

Ethernet or WiFi (if WiFi 2.4ghz or 5ghz)

    Static or DHCP

    VPN or no VPN

Any details you can advise is always useful

I trust you’re in the latest update of MTOL3?

If not, use the Formuler update app to install.

If you are up to date and didn’t hard reset first, your mtol3 app may have excess data it’s holding on to.

The most quickest and easiest way to deal with this, is make sure you’re all setup and logged in with your provider, then backup to USB

    Once you’ve done that

    Clear cache and clear data

Open mtol3 and then restore from your backup

    Takes about 2 mins

Once you’ve done the above, mtol3 will not hold so much data and will treat itself as a fresh install.

It’s worth considering to do the above

If not, a full hard reset is to be considered and start from scratch

    You mentioned you updated epg.

I take it you did that by selecting “update epg”

I ask because did you choose the option to clear epg and then choose update epg.

Don’t choose the option that does them both at the same time.

    Do it individually

It maybe you need to cycle this a couple of times.

See if that works for you

    So referring to the above.

It could be something has changed server side and so mytvonline isn’t picking it up.

If other apps are working fine, then it may need further exploration from Formuler.

If Formuler suggest it’s not their issue then it would be right to approach your provider.

Maybe it would be suitable to provide a test line to Formuler so they can try to replicate the issue

    HTTP ERROR:

    408: Request Timeout

A 408 Request Timeout error status code means that the server did not receive a request from the client in a specified amount of time. A delayed request from the client can be due for a variety of reasons, such as a slow or broken connection. Once that time has passed, the 408 Request Timeout status is sent by the server and the user/client can resend the request again

    409: Conflict

A 409 Conflict error status code indicates that the request from the client could not be processed due to a conflict with the server. The request from the client was fine, but there were issues on the server-side that prevents the request from being executed. An example of this could be if there was a request for a specific file to be edited, deleted, or created by the user, but those functionalities are not allowed. Along with the 409 response, the server should return instructions on how the user can resolve this issue or indicate why the issue is occurring.

I have one good reason not to use vpn as my main iptv provider has builtin vpn,and states vpn is not necessarry.

However, i did get vpn for my seccond provider, as it gave me a lot of http 409 errors, which for the time being are solved, probably true the use of vpn.

The end user should use a vpn, they should always use a vpn.

No IPTV provider has a vpn server side so if a provider says they have, it’s complete and utter nonsense! Please don’t be fooled by what a provider or most likely a reseller tells you the end user.

What they do have is routing through server centres in most instances. Server / data centres then offer a certain level of security which protects their assets and as such is a bi-product for those who connect through the data centre.

However; the security as mentioned above is not a vpn product!

The costs involved to even attempt a vpn server side would be unsustainable for IPTV let alone keeping the service stability for end users with a server side vpn active.

Some actually advise not to use a vpn with their service because it will block your connection to them by messing with their “security” settings. That’s more for the low end market to hit that issue and isn’t quite common these days.

Some IPTV services use a proxy connection however that will slow down connections and is still not a vpn.

Some services even go one step further and that’s to have servers offshore and in countries where they have lax policies on piracy making it hard for satellite companies to enforce a ban

There are some amazing IPTV services out there than invest heavily in protecting their service and its stability but that is done by other means and not vpn server side

The best level of protection for the end user without any doubt 100% is to have their own vpn.

Never use a free vpn, there’s no point whatsoever and you are fully limited to to about 500mb data download so it’s a waste of time.

If something is free then don’t expect your protection to be any good!

In reality, you’re paying so little for the amount of content you get, paying for a decent vpn is a small price to pay to protect you, your Iptv service and keep your broadband speeds at a decent level.

Personally I really don’t understand why anyone would ever consider not using a vpn with IPTV.

Good morning I don't know if my problem has already been posted but when I watch live tv I have a rewind of 10 seconds and several times per hour I don't know if it's because of my server or if it's the Z11PRO

    This has been mentioned before.

I posted some time ago that I along with others experienced it and the settings I have that has prevented it since.

On any live tv channel, press menu button on your remote and go to settings

Select player options then buffer time

I originally set mine to long but experienced jump back.

I changed it to short and haven’t experienced the issue again.

If yours is set to short, change it to long and see if that works for you

I too experienced the same slowdown and I did similar to LaPraline but didn’t uninstall MOL3

I noticed after update, mytvonline3 was holding on to 1gb of data so I backed up to USB then cleared cache and data.

Restored from USB and all sorted within a couple of minutes.

Loading time is back to normal.

Consider that in the past it used to be recommended to reset the box after update for this such reason but using the method mentioned has gotten everything back on track.

    Nice and easy

Consider you’ll need to run audio optimiser again afterwards

Nice little Easter egg to appear since the latest update. Pretty sure it wasn’t present before then!

If someone else has mentioned this, apologies.

Will all the negative posts at the moment regarding updates etc, I wanted to share it incase anyone else hasn’t seen it.

You’d have noticed before that when a series has new content it will show on its poster “new”

Did you also notice it, now puts a red marker too…

So when you open the show it has this:

And then opening that it shows the series the new episode is within
