What do you mean your optical audio doesn't work? Is it working when you're watching normal tv?
If you are using AV receiver, make sure your HDMI output is set to RAW. (Home>Settings>Sound>HDMI output)
There is instruction written behind your remote on how to program.
You can also download Air sync mouse app on your phone if you want. I find it easier to use.

I have Z+, and I deleted YouTube and redownload it from Google playstore and it's running fine.
It asked me to update Google play services, but after that I can use Youtube.

Are you using mac to connect? If you're using xc, you can convert to m3u and use pip. But understand m3u isn't the best way to connect.

If you are using m3u, you put it in the playlist not the portal.
If you are using username and password, then most likely you are using xc(xtream code).

How are you connected? m3u, xc, or mac?
Did you have the same problem before the update?

I don't think it's the blue button that is causing the issue.
Were you using mac portal connection with previous providers?
If you are, you can ask your providers about favorites not saved.

are you taking off ac power? don't do that if you are.

are you using big channel list? maybe your internet is slow and takes time downloading all the necessary info?

does it say mytvonline has stopped?

It's hard because some remote have similar connection to other devices. especially with universal remotes.
So even they make a new remote, there will be other devices that will interfere with new remote.
You can download air sync mouse app to use your formuler box to avoid this problem

Pip Mode will be implemented with mac /id portal or there is some limitation with that type of connection?
PIP isn't available for mac because you only get one service from one mac address.

I have got the same problem.. Loads to 100% and a few seconds later the z8 automatically restarts. Many tries later still the same. Watching is not possible. Any solutions?
Ask your provider to give you m3u url, if they only use mac then ask them to re activate your account

Can you see if you get better sounds when you are watching it from other apps like tivimate

Having an issue with pausing a live TV show. When I resume it, it will skip to the end after a few seconds and can't get back to the stuff that was recorded. I can rewind to the beginning but it skips at the same spot it did before. Normal recordings (via epg) work fine.
I'm using a freshly formatted 2 tb harddrive with ntfs partition made by rufus
Can you please tell me more about this issue? I remember seeing other people having similar issues, but never was able to show it on my device.
Are you using M3U or XC/MAC? Could you PM me so I have a better understanding of this issue??

I think you should try it on your own, but you should be able to record.

When I try to download EPG from OPEN TV EPG it says "no satellite found".
This was working perfectly in Sept 2018.
was it working fine since that time, or is that the last time you used?
Maybe provider has changed something in their side?

Try to use m3u if you aren't
Avoid using xc, if you are using mac ask your provider to re activate your mac

Never ran into something like this before... maybe you can ask your provider to remove special characters, but create a ticket if you want Formuler to take a look at it

For now nas isn't supported, but you can use usb drive. just make sure it has ntfs or fat32 format.

Excuse my ignorance , can any body explain about time shift for me .
timeshift is when you can go back and watch the program without recording.
when you sue cloud timeshift you don't need to use a thumb drive and go back to the program to watch.

Ask your provider to re-activate your MAC address. I think that's what raven0581's provider did with his MAC.
