You should look on signal bar, if all 3 dots goes empty when this happen. If so, then is your connection with provider unstable or the provider have some issue with catchup.
Test also with other protocol, if you use MAC/ID, test with XC Api or M3u.
This is the same issue I have. It especially pops up with a program that's currently airing. If you press cloud timeshift (to beginning of the program, it freezes) I've posted it 8n the .23 beta thread
Hi all , I found a new issue and am wondering if more of you have noticed it. It seems like since the .23 update the box comes alive during night time. Didn't have time yet to post it but I noticed it again this morning. I'm certain that tv and AVR were on stand by together with the Z10. Weirdest thing is, it's just the box. I've set the box to go awake and to go to stand by if I press the power button on the remote

I've found a new bug.. I've inserted a micro SD card for recording etc. With my z7, z8, z8pro and gtv I could rewind a program I was currently watching. With the z10 pro max it just freezes!? I'm using ntfs and it's the fastest Evo micro SD there is available... It's annoying and since this should be your flagship, prioritize it first!
Next to that when you start a catchup program that's still running and skip to the end (because you missed something) , it freezes or an error pops up that the video can't be played.
SAM blue_eyes isn't attacking you personally he's just disappointed about the strategy. You saw that I've bought most of your devices but there's a clear difference on how fixes came in the past and they're implemented these days

No, there is another topic (ethernet connection) where the poster describes the same issue. The whole audio handling needs a big overhaul.

Correct, I have exactly the same menu options (I am also Dutch).
When selecting Automatic ( use the supported settings of your system (recommended)), the 5 options are in the ON position but greyed out, exactly as in your picture.
This will hopefully be solved with a future update. It is clear that the implementation of the various sound codecs still is “work in progress”.
I would like to see the option to select BITSTREAM, so my receiver can do the decoding, not the Z10.
Yep thats why I opened the thread so that developers can be made aware of this "bug" and hopefully fix it. Bitstream option would be perfect. Together with more hdr options 😊 and another wish is for a download option of vod/series. I've seen another player where that's possible

I've received my z10 pro max today and I did the setup. It's connected to my receiver and audio is fine. But I noticed that Its using dd by default. Dd gives me ticks when switching channels so in the past I just used dts to solve it. I can't disable dd in the settings menu of the z10. The switches are Grey. My previous boxes (GTV & z8) I could just set it to auto and manually just enable dts. Am I doing something wrong?

You mean the GTV works always fine and boot each time on Monitor, but not on your new Philips TV?
Yep that WAS the case. But I fixed it an can reproduce the problem now. If you set HDMI Ultra HD to "optimized" it doesn't boot. If you put it on "standard" it wil go through the boot sequence. Maybe it has something to do with v10 and how it displays uhd/hdr content. I also own a shield that's also on v10 and it doesn't have the same problem. Hope I can help you and others with this info.

Well I finally had time to connect it to my TV again and guess what? Stuck in the loading screen. Do you have any suggestions why I didn't have any problems with v9 and I simply can't get it to boot on v10? The Philips TV is a new model. I didn't have any devices connected to the GTV now. It works on my monitor but not on my TV. I also have a z8 and that one works perfectly.

Ps. I also have an seagate external 3.0 HDD and wireless Logitech keyboard connected when I updated... Could that have had any influence? Just giving as much info from my end to pin point the bug

Hello, I posted a message before in this thread because I was stuck in the gtv boot screen after the update.
I've received a new box.
I plugged it in and it immediately started downloading the v10 update. Half way through the installation the screen went black and the box rebooted. Again I'm in the gtv black boot screen. I'veet it sit for at least 6 hours and its stuck again! I've tried the toothpick method but this box doesn't have the button inside the ir receiver? I've looked for it for 2 hours, but it simply isn't there? I have the z8 for 2 years now and never had a problem. I'm getting the feeling I've bought an inferior product!

I'm sorry to say that my update didn't go okay. I did the update like I normally did. Just wait, it downloads and it'll reset and install. It's hanging on the black GTV screen. I'm waiting for an hour now. Any advice?

It's the one on the right. Also in the manual of the bt remote it states on the colored buttons hotkeys, follow the on screen instructions. Can I also program them? It was possible on the z8 remote

I have a lot of contact with customers and indeed they buy the shield or any other brand because they want to use Netflix (and not in 720p).
Since last update random crashes do seem to occur more. Favorites are also gone again if I disconnect my standard iptv supplier and connect to another one and go back to my default one.
Already had a tech user contact me and I already gave an opportunity to get a test account from my ip TV provider for free (I arranged that ) for a month but he isn't responding

Having an issue with pausing a live TV show. When I resume it, it will skip to the end after a few seconds and can't get back to the stuff that was recorded. I can rewind to the beginning but it skips at the same spot it did before. Normal recordings (via epg) work fine.

This works like a charm! I always edited in the. Xml but this is far more easy. I have one question which action in the list is just the "enter" button? I want to see the on screen controls when I'm in the pause menu (which is enter on the keyboard) and assign it to the OK button on the remote control
