I don't want to completely wipe the box and reload all my installed apps.

1. Does the issue always occur on the same channel?
2. Does the issue only occur when you are changing channels? Or does the issue occur while you are watching the channel?
3. If you flip the channels back and forth does the issue resolve itself?
1> No
2> No, while watching\
3> Most of the time
It's periodic and random channels. I get the error on my Z8 Pro AND my Z10 Pro Max. I've tried different providers and get the same thing. It even does it in Tivimate. Ironically, it does NOT do it in provider supplied apps. The best thing I have done lately is change to a m3u playlist with hls output. That has fixed 95% of the buffering, stoppage, looping, etc.

Anyone found a resolution to these error messages yet?

I have uninstalled Mytvonline2 through the Settings on my Z1o Pro (deleted all data too), then did a reinstall through the Market.
I don't think I am getting a clean uninstall because my connections are remembered after I reinstall.
Is there some trick to COMPLETELY removing Mytvonline2 before re-installation? Is the remembering of my connections even relevant?

Home, Settings, apps, select the app. You can kill it from there.

One thing to check, to rule out your internet provider, is create a wifi hot spot on your phone. Connect to it, NOT your ISP. See where that takes you. Possible it's your ISP or router.

I have the new Z10 Pro Max, use MYTVO2 with a provider XC login Portal.
Everything has been working great, then all of a sudden I get the message (An error occured:UnrecognizedInputFormatException). I Googled it and all I see are posts about Tivimate.
I figured it had something to do with the stream being ts or hls. I don't know that much about it. I've tried setting up a m3u playlist using hls and ts output, per the provider suggestion but, that doesn't work either . Somewhere here I saw that the HLS Fast start setting is no more and is built in to MYTVO2 now on the Z10 Pro Max, so that should make setting up a m3u playlist unnecessary IMO.
I believe this to be a provider problem but, naturally, they won't admit to anything. I know they have been having problems since they switched over to a new panel for 2-3 months now. Things seem to hit and miss with different channels. They said the panel automatically creates various formats based on the user...???
What I can say is that the few channels I get this error on are specific to a few US channels. It is not random channels.
Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

A room fan remote I use, turns my Z10 on and off and every once in awhile, changes the MYTVO2 channel. WTH??? Soooo...I just keep the remote AWAY from the Z10!!!

Good question.
I'm in the Philippines and they basically don't care what you do with your connection. So, the answer from here is NO it's not needed unless you are paranoid about prying eyes/security of connection IMO.
I WILL say that with some VOD/TV Series TV apps that use torrent links, a VPN has been useful. I notice I generally receive more torrent links with a VPN that is ON vs. without using the VPN. Kinda strange I know but, that is what I have noticed in testing this out for my IPTV sub service.

Kept thinking something must be wrong with the remote with only the top two power buttons working.
Duh...sure enough, the remote IR USB was loose. Pulled it out and put it back in...everything working fine.
False alarm! I'm usually smarter than that...

Yes, Tivimate works well.

Z8 got locked up by an app this morning. I rebooted several times to no avail (just keeps freezing on the apps/menu screen every time). I just let it sit there for a few minutes, then got a message that an app was hung (close the app?), I said yes. The app message just keeps returning again and again, and not shutting the app down. I tried holding down the Menu key to delete the app(s) but, it now does not respond at all.
I then made the mistake of unplugging the unit. Got stuck in a system shutdown state loop for hours before I FINALLY got out of it! I even tried the system reset procedure by unplugging, multiple pressing the red button, then press the number 1. That doesn't work either as is just goes right back to the system shutdown state loop.
The Z8 just stays stuck on the Apps/Menu screen. If I press the STB power button, it gives me the standby, power off or restart menu but, I have NO control of it with the remote. If I hold down the STB button, it reboots but, gets stuck in the system shutdown state loop again.
I have unplugged everything. Even switched to a different HDMI source. All to no avail...

Now, I'm back to the frozen Apps/Menu screen with no control of it at all with the remote...Suggestions
