Hellooo... again! I've had an issue pop up and am wondering if this is a provider or software issue. I have two connections, single provider. At times when a channel is recording and I try to change channels, I'm warned that recording is in process (as I was when I had only one connection) and it won't let me change without stopping recording. Other times, I can change the channel just fine. I've found if I reboot the Z8 and restart the recording, the problem will clear for an undetermined amount of time, maybe a day or so. Thanks for reading and any replies!

Reproduced same issue like you have 1year ago with one provider, changed to other one, no issues anymore. Try with turning off the box instead of going into standby to bypass continus connect. It is better to start each day with fresh connect with provider.

Yes. These days, unless I know I want to record something overnight and need to use standby, I have the box set to power off .

Does this mean every time I want to record during hours normally would have tv off and box in standby I’m going to have to change setting to standby and then switch back?? This is pretty awkward.

I may as well add my 2 cents. I have 2 connections on a single provider and a backup provider. While setting a timer to record a program on a different channel that I am watching, I get that "popup" go live? The channel that is set to record takes over the picture and I can no longer watch live tv. I have refreshed playlist and still am at a loss. Thanks. Oh on my Formulas Z8

I have a single provider/2 connection. I get this sometimes but, realized my provider's VOD backup app I have installed and utilize sometimes, is using one of the connections. I have to restart or make sure the backup VOD app is force stopped.
