Yes I done all you said in #7 tried different usb device formatted how you told me too I rebooted also but unfortunately my box will when playing the recordings back gave just a black screen with sound there is no picture at all I’m sure they are simple but for some unknown reason there is a problem on my box with recordings on mytvonline now I can add other apps onto the box and they record and play the recordings no bother on the same usb device so it must be something with mytvonline software or similar

So when I am signing in I have given my supplier my MAC address then sign in with there url

So with the others mentioned in your 3 steps would I have to change something with my supplier?

Hi I’m still having recording problems even in the new update , the program records there is sound but no picture just a black screen still it’s getting rather annoying now as it has never worked from I got the box

Hi I’m back again I tried to record on the smarters app that is in the formuler market place and it did record pictures as well as sound 👍 so it must be something with the MOL app

Only problem with the smarters app you can’t schedule a recording

How can I add other apps onto the box please ?

Yes I was recording the channel I was on and I haven’t a dvr option in this box

Trying to record live tv as my provider has disabled catchup at the moment

This is what it says in the android setting for storage but should o be able to click on the portable storage ? It won’t let me

Can I ask my iptv provider doesn’t have catchup working at the moment would that have anything to do with the recordings?

Sorry do you mean I’m confusing you? I’ve had the recording problem with my 7+ box since November which Sam replied of what to do I didn’t realise I was in the wrong forum tread ? I’m just getting really frustrated now as to why it won’t record properly as we are missing a lot of programs because of this

Ok I’ll give it a go but in the top drop down when I press it nothing happened at all there was nothing there

I managed to get the hdd drive detected with the formuler 7+ box but if I try to click it in the android settings it won’t let me do anything also I have a photo of the recording

Hi it wouldn’t let me do anything like you have mentioned above the top drop down

Menu didn’t do anything and it showed 0 devices at the bottom I’m really stumped as thought this box world needs easy to set up and really wanted to be able to record on

I’ve downloaded Rufus tool

Onto my laptop but there is nothing showing in the device box like on the picture telling me what to do so no z7 +

Am I doing something wrong

Hi I’m new to the formuler 7+ box but I managed to record part of a program on mytvonline but when I came to play it back there was sound but no picture just a black screen I’ve just set the box up and done the updates it asked me to do any help would be great as really like to record
