Is there any way to change the granularity of the skip/forward and skip/back in either of the players available (default player and ExoPlayer)?
It seems to be about a 3 minute jump and that is too large for accurate positioning when watching VOD or timeshift TV.
MOL2: ;Mol2 menu -> Connections -> your portal -> Edit -> Edit Groups -> chose Live TV / VOD or Series -> decklick what you not need and then on OK.
Or use the RED button FIRST when initially setting up the groups/channels to de-select EVERYTHING which then allows you to quickly select just the channels you want. ![]()

Did you check the LOG in your router to make sure that it is not the culprit?
It clearly sounds like an automatic software action - CONTENT SOURCE refresh, for example - so have you tried deleting the PROFILE and creating a new one?
I don't think its a wi-fi issue.

This was due to the FORMULER box(es) running on Google TV (which it appears uses the same security check) and so rejected the URL due to the imbedded Google security. OUCH!

Trying a new subscription that has catchup channels, but I'm getting a [TimeShift Error - Can't play this video] error message.
I'm pretty sure that it's a supplier problem but just wondering if anyone else is having this issue and how did you solve it.

For the past few weeks, I have received a "Backup failed" message ([Settings; Backup & Restore Options; Backup]) any time I tried a backup on my Z11 Pro Max.
I have an SD card and a USB stick in addition to the network storage.
Today I unmounted my network storage (QNAP box) and the backup was successful! ![]()
Anyone else experienced this problem?

Are you using your own Groups? Like "MyFavoriteSports" and "MyFavoriteNetwork" ? Building groups allows you to reduce the size and number of channels, and those groups are renumbered from 1.

Input the channel # directly on the remote, then either hit OK when the channel list (channel highlighted) or wait for 3 seconds for the channel to switch automatically.

When I look at my favourites, there is nothing as I scroll through them that in any way states where that favourite channel is from, I just tested it.
The NAME you gave the current GROUP (Favorite, of course) is always displayed in the upper left screen corner of both the GUIDE and the CHANNEL list displays. It will always show the label [Favorite] plus the SUB names added to it. It clearly shows the current channel's SUB name that you added.

Well in my case, I'm going to have the exact same favourites groups in both subs. So I still don't get how I will know which one I'm looking at when I go to "Favourites".
And I also don't understand the search thing. No indication of sub, nothing in the names of channels, nothing visual separating the subs, etc. Difficult to navigate.
The "supplier name" from the portal is shown in the upper left of any screen that is showing the Supplier Group (or Your Favorite Group) and that is how you know which SUB you are viewing.
I just got my Z11 Pro Max. I'm loving mytvonline3. It's far better than mytvonline2.
But two things confuse me...1. If you have more than one portal active, enabled, when searching for channel names, I don't know how to tell which portal the channels belong to. Anyone have any ideas? The UI doesn't make it clear.
2. Since mytvonline3 shows you all the portals at once, how do favourites work when you have more than one portal? All get mashed together? You see them separated?

This became apparent soon after I received my Z11. My first attempt using one favorite group was a disaster.
I have 3 service providers and three favorite groups named as; FAVORITE-ServiceA, FAVORITE-ServiceB and FAVORITE-ServiceC where "ServiceA' (and B & C) will be the trade name of the service.
Now when you are using the guide with one of those favorite groups, the NAME of the group is displayed in the upper left of the screen to help sort out the who you are sampling.

Wondering if there are any plans to release an updated GTV box with MyTVOnline 3?
As has been reported by the devs @ Formuler, the GTV box is a GOOGLE TV device and updates require GOOGLE approval (or some such activity) and that takes a lot of time.
To get a sense of why, go to techradar -dot- com and search "Your Google TV or Android TV may not get an update until Android 16… in 2026"

Am I dreaming? This morning my Z11 Pro Max popped up a "software update" notice so I went ahead and did the update.
To my surprise I found that the update (11.3.5) is currently listed as beta but I didn't do a beta update - I did a normal update. Was I dreaming?
Also, to my surprise the update enabled (added ?) WiFi 6!
Later in the day I was experiencing stuttering on a few channels (as I sometimes do) and so I did a WiFi channel switch and there it was - the [6] symbol on my #2 5Ghz connection. And it WORKS!

Added all apps, included system apps to the split tunneling and same problem!
After restart still.not mounted. (Yes reconnect at startup is on)
checked again and really ALL APPS were on split tunneling.
Have you resolved this problem? AFAIK, Internet/VPN should have no affect on local network devices and hence your NAS should be fine.
What NAS are you using? And is it LAN connected?
I'm running a QNAP TS-453D with no issues at all - LAN connected (dual ports). Reconnects automatically regardless of the "break" in network activity.

So, instead of a Factory Reset I elected to uninstall MOL3 and then reinstall it.
That seems to have fixed the issue as channels no longer freeze.

close all Apps in Background, delete cache, go to Content Manager and deactivate each Portal, restart the Box once and then activate Portal again and let MOL3 refresh everything (will take some time). If this all doesn`t help restart router.
Done; no background apps were running, I deleted cache & data (I have a recent backup), deactivated the 3 portals & did a restart. Reactivated the portals but no change! It still freezes as before.
Earlier today I did a power-off recycle on both the internet provider modem and my router, and i did another reboot on the router after the above procedure -- but it still freezes on all channels.
Do I need a factory reset?
As of this morning, my Z11 Pro Max will freeze on any IPTV channel on all 3 of my providers. I am on the latest software update.
To eliminate any network or internet issues I dug my GTV box out of storage and it runs without issues.
Any thoughts?
I just noticed that the Z11 will restart the channel after a few minutes only to freeze again after 15 to 25 seconds. ![]()
After a week of no response from Google-YouTube (I left 3 support request messages) I decided to resolve the issue myself.
Bottom line: it seems to be that the Android version of YouTube app does not resolve 2nd level requests for verification of your credentials - so, turn OFF two factor authentication in your Google account then SIGN IN to the YouTube Android app.
Finish by resetting 2FA back to ON in your Google account. ![]()

I have the same problem after changing my Google password. No answer yet.
This is a strange one and not likely a Formuler Z11 problem *but* I am unable to find any solution in Google or YouTube support.
I recently changed my Google password and everything was fine until I tried to sign in to YouTube on the Z11. I am a premium subscriber using my Google credentials to sign in.
Initially, sign in fails and it "looks" like a password failure but after watching and testing the process several times it is actually a sign in "loop". You enter the correct password and after a short pause it asked you to verify your account by returning to the [enter password] form. There is no way to enter alternate credentials. This also fails the exact same way in my SONY X80-series TV when I tried to sign in to YouTube there, suggesting its an Android issue.
Thoughts? Ideas?
YouTube support has zero credible matching help documents. And because YouTube is a pre-installed app on both the Z11 and the X80 Sony, you can't uninstall it to try a different version.

Firstly,we have become accustomed to the epg being 24 hours on XCAPI connection,if you want more you have to switch to MAC-ID connection and set epg mode to "alternate".
Secondly what do you mean by advanced recordings (=scheduled recording?) What do you mean by manual recording option, OK button on grid epg or direct recording via button with red circle,below of menu button?
Actually, it appears to be a subscriber service offering (re: your 24 hour only guide on XCAPI) rather than a Z11 shortcoming. One of my Subs is an XCAPI and they supply 4 days of guide info.

I was having similar issues for a while, which have now been solved.
It appears that my Z11’s DNS, my routers DNS and the AdGuard DNS that I was using were all conflicting each other.
I set them all to the same prefix, Quad9 in my case, (9.9.9.9) and then set the Z11 to a static IP, rather than using the DCHP option.
I also turned the private DNS option Off, and instead, input the primary and secondary DNS in the Static IP section.
Haven’t had any issues since!
Another way to handle that DNS issue is to use your router's IP address in any network device's DNS setting (e.g. in the Z11 settings). That avoids the conflicts and, as a bonus, if/when you decide to change your internet DNS (the one in your router/gateway) to a different DNS service, no additional changes need to be made to any of your devices.

Hi morden,i reacted with confused emotion to your post because i guess you are a late adapter to the Z11.
On the other hand i bought my Z11 straight at its introduction,and it was far from Plug&Play in the early stages,problems like epg,network connection,VOD loading etc were all corrected in subsequent updates.
For me the Z11 has since the last updates reached toplevel and ready for daily use,so i can now support your opinion to "Go for it"
The speed and Picture Quality are definitely superior to the Z10,so the decision to upgrade would be an easy one now
I absolutely was a late adopter (about December 2023) as that is how I work. I never do early adoption because I spent 50+ years as an IT pro and I had my fill of debugging other people's software. ![]()

Your best solution (but would cost $'s) is a NAS box. The next best option is a second router in your network that does allow a shared USB drive with credentials.
Do you have a desktop computer? If yes, you can share hard drive space from that device.

Make sure you are using only a high quality high speed SD or USB stick. Too many "normal" sticks today are low quality junk passed off as high quality.
Try a POWER OFF restart. Or pull the power plug out for 10 seconds.
I don't know if this will help in your setup, but I too had several "sync" issues when I had the Z11 connected to the SONY amp/control unit. Then I switched the Z11 HDMI to the SONY TV and that allows the TV eARC/HDMI to initiate the start-up sequence with the amp and the Z11.
I use the "audio device" power button on the BT1 remote to kick off the start-up sequence. Works well.

You need to try a "better" recording device. In many cases, if the USB device is USB2, and/or not from a well respected manufacturer, the device may throw errors while recording. I too ran into this issue a couple of years ago.
I solved my problems by mounting my QNAP NAS device as the recording storage for the Z11 and I have never had a failed recording since. Speed does matter when you're recording a real-time thread.

Even the current Mol3 is a huge step up from my Z10 and GTV! Multiple providers are somewhat hard to view in the group list, but not impossible.
