With this beta, there seem to be problems on loading vods and series. Sometimes they load immediately, sometimes it takes 10-30 seconds to load and sometimes they don't load at all (to be clear: they all appear in the list and after a search, but the playing/staring is the problem). Can this be confirmed, looked at and solved? Sent logs 1921D79 (but I don't believe this could help). I first thought the problem only was by the 1st top provider on my list, so I switched the provider sorting, updated content, but same problem and random. Cleared cache MOL3, no problems with T***Mate.

Indeed, as the post from Lemmingsbeest stated above: recording didn't work anymore, formattted with the Z11PM and now doing a short 1st recording test.

I didn't mean to take this Beta this time as I didn' have any problems. A few weeks ago I started having problems with one of my providers. Vods didn't play (no image & no movie info), live tv and series were fine. Provider said all was ok on their end, same with alternative url. So I finally installed the Beta and all vods are loading/playing again. Using XCAPI.

Forgot to post this earlier, but indeed: same here: after import from the box, portals can't be edited, only editable after manual imput.

The imported portals form the box show an 'F' in the right top corner.

Still on my Z11PM's, but would like to know something, so here it goes.

With MOL4 is there still a option/possibilty to manual sync the audio (for live tv, vods and series) and the subtitles (for vods and series) as this is now possible on MOL3? I really need such an offset of -300 ms audio (for all audio on AAC 5.1).

afaik: on XCAPI you can choose alternate when you add a portal. I tried this once, but didn't notice any difference. Afterwards I couldn't change this.

I made (about last summer) several posts with my findings & results. 1 Box is still relatively unstable, while my now 'main' box is more stable.

Main box: 5 providers active, total live tv ca 125k (47k on 1 provider), total vods ca 150k (51k on 1 provider), total series ca 35k (10k on 1 provider). On vods and series countries are limited provider side to only the countries and languages I need.

Little confirmation (on Z11 PM, MOL3): same here: on 2 of my providers the last +/- 2 weeks the vods and/or series are sometimes '0'. After manual content update of only this provider, all is back ok. Nothing changed in setup, apps, providers, ...

Had a few months without problems on my now most used Z11 PM. Recently (the last few days) got issues: some providers vods and series '0', but back after 1 or 2 content updates ; since a few days one of my providers gets 'refresh failed' after content update, no known problems according the provider (comes back after some reboots) ; yesterday red light stayed on and I had to cut cable (this didn't happen for months) ; just now got kicked out of MOL3 while watching a vod (MOL3 restarted) ; FYI: XCAPI, Nord VPN ; I just sent the file report: 1921D79.

Are this known issues and/or can something be done?

Afaik not possible, ask your provider to Sort them as you prefer.

Did you try a hard reset? Is your provider stable on the Z11 PM? Perhaps try with another provider.

That should be possible: in the home menu, I believe you can make/add custom groups.

Afaik this isn't possible (only limited functions and apps can be programmed on the RCU).

But, to be honest, I used to ask earlier for this too, but now with the daily update that works fine, I don't need it anymore. In the few cases I need to update content manually, it's done quickly with the content manager menu (privider(s) separately or all provides once).

Yes and no. What I did: the 'problem' Z11 PM is now only used with 1 provider (got this one working again after about 5-6 hard resets or so) and became relatively stable ; the other Z11 PM has several providers active, but limited vods & series (and is very stable) ; set epg back to 24 h ; so far not much problems since, only when epg is loading MOL3 crashes sometimes ; I'm also not using the favourites anymore, as I put them in the IMDb app (ok, a bit more work, but no frustrasting hours and hours anymore when a providers changes something such as th url).

That's perfectly possible: in the Formuler Remote app:

- assign one of the Color keys to 'start an app - MOL3' - this is for the main menu

- assign one of the Hotkeys (single, double or long tap) to 'Go to Recordings' - this is in MOL3

Have a search on eg 'AAC' in this forumsection. Same problem here (but always -300 ms in my case). If you want 5.1 all you can do afaik is manually change the audio sync. for each episode and VOD (top menu while playing). Once you stop the play, the sync. is gone and needs to be restarted manually. Works fine, but not ideal.

Do you have more providers and are there a big number of channels/vods/series? Here, the more 'content' must load the longer it takes. Eg: 1 provider a few to 30 sec ; 5-6 providers sometimes a few minutes.

With reference to my earlier posts on the 'problem' Z11PM, a short update.

I struggled several weeks with random problems and not to be able to start up, no updates came in, recordings failed, ...

After a lot of testing and trail & error, and after about 5 or 6 hard resets (paperclip) the box seems to be alive again. Not 100% (sometimes not possible to startup and need to cut the power), but most days working without problems so far. I have to say that on this box I only have 1 provider active, with limited content.

That app looks good, but the interesting pro version has a monthly subscription. I don't have much time now, but I'm testing the IMDb app (which pleases me more than eg letterboxd, but that's personal).

After some boxproblems and provider issues (eg changing url), here some requests for some which could save a lot of time:

- Export portals via MOL+ -> MOL3 (in box) - or not sure how you call it, can also be import portals in MOL3 (in box) via MOL+ ; same box or even another box via MOL+

- Asked before, but is there really no possibility to backup and restore all setings (so complete box instead of only MOL3) ; even better would be if this could be possible across different boxes (of the same type )

- Integration of IMDB (or TMDB) in MOL3 - so when we have a vod or serie, we can directly go to IMDB (or TMDB) in MOL3 to see the score, reviews and add in a watchlist or another list. I ask this, because I had already lost hours or maybe even days for manually recovering/adding favourite vods and series. If this integration could be possible, all favourites could be added only in IMDB (or TMBD or even another app on the box).

A lot, I know, but who knows ...

Already did that (see my post of June 12th in this thread on the 2nd Page). Tried with the power supply of my other Z11PM, no luck...

Addition: now even the box got stuck in the middle of a vod movie ; cable cut was necessary.

Latest: again stuck on white light ; same after power cut ; after 2nd power cut I could start mol3 ; Google tv can't connect anymore now ; really doesn't look good for a box of 2 years old. Once mol3 starts, it mostly stays ok.

Any more tips or tests I can try @Mods/devs?

Not sure what I'll do if this problem can't get solved, as I don't have real answers about stability on the number of providers, channels, vods, series and on the number of favourites on vods and series.

Update with the above settings: a recording worked, I could start up a few times. Now at home Page, no apps can be started. After restart I could open mol3, but after opening on a channel, rcu doesn't do anything now. Again need to cut the power.

I'll now test with only 1 provider as suggested earlier, but I honestly don't think that will help...

Edit: I will first delete mol3, reinstall and then add only my main provider

Tested with fresh mol3 and manually adding all portals, without adding favourites. Same result this morning: stuck in Red light and no content updated.

Will now test with fresh mol3 and 3 portals manually added without favourites. 'Biggest' and 'less used' portals not added. Need to keep also the family happy in the evening, therefore these 3 portals.

As stated in the subject; are there any known good apps (Android smartphone) where I can add the titles of my favourite vods and movies I want to watch? I already found IMDB, which I'll test soon, but other suggestions are welcome.

I know this has basically nothing to do with Formuler, but I wanted to ask this anyway. Reason: recent problems and several earlier changings in provider login settings.

Just wondering: is there a Max. number of favourites (channels, vods and series? And is this per provider or in total?)? Sorry for all my questions, but I just want to figure out what's all going wrong here, and why.

Yes, I tried also without VPN, same problem (Holidays are my own country). Now just deleted MOL3 and reinstalled with only my main provider to test. This means I lost hundreds of favourites (vods and series - and this only for this provider). Still hoping for some solution without having to re-enter all favs manually, as this would take me very very long...

Really still missing some kind of option to export/load favourites, also on another Z11PM.

A few hours later, record didn't work and again Red light and need to cut the power restart. Almost out of ideas right now...

Morning update: light was White, rcu worked but no apps opened, so had to pull cable again. Recording didn't work, content wasn't updated. After Restart both content and EPG started to update. Content ok, but still mol3 crashes while EPG updated. So, still not good af all.

Now I disabled this one provider (which has a lot of favourite vods and series -> could this perhaps be the problem??). I enabled another provider (less favourite vods and series, but more channels/movies/vods) and will see what happens today and tonight. (So again only 1 provider enabled in mol3, all are disabled in TiviMate).

Add-on: immediately again problems to startup, now disabled all portals in TiviMate, and only main provider enabled in MOL3. We'll see tomorrow, but I start to loose hope here...
