I see the remote is available for sale on eBay and Amazon Germany
really?? I have to check. This would be great news! Anyway, I think they also updated the remote software, since on my Z11 ProMax the remote app was changed (saw that when wondering why the sound volume dropped too low, only to find it at half level in the “new” app)
-
It’s already January… Should we stop hoping?
-
I understand you Gabi but producing extra remotes for single sale, preparing the sale, Home pages and even the software updating on devices where it should work great, need time.
We just wait. I really love them and their products!
-
They working on updates, please patience.
BT3 Stand alone will come but for now no date of release.
Yes, we have the patience, we have the money, they just don’t seem to have the product…
-
Is there any news about this one on the market?
-
OK, can someone point me to a dealer that has it (preferably in EU)? Thank you!
-
Tarumar I live in Europe and I confirm that the 24-hour format is present on the Formuler Z11 Pro Max.
Settings > Device Preferences > Date & Time > Use 24-hour format

Same for me, 24 hours format available (EU).

Dear Formuler Team,
As a new user of the Formuler Z11 Pro Max, I had high expectations regarding both the hardware and your MyTVOnline 3 application. While the Z11 Pro Max is undoubtedly a powerful device, my enthusiasm was quickly diminished due to several limitations in the software.
As an IPTV user, I expect a modern, flexible, and customizable user experience — something that is currently lacking in MyTVOnline 3. I would like to bring a number of important shortcomings to your attention, with the hope that your team will address them soon. Please take a look at competitors such as TiviMate, where features like these are already standard. If you aim to offer a leading IPTV app to your customers, staying up to date and responding to user needs is essential.
Here are the main points of feedback:
- No support for external EPG sources
There is no option to add an external EPG URL or manually assign EPG data to individual channels. - Limited channel and group management
Users cannot remove channels from groups or rearrange the order of channels and groups. - Remote control customization is missing
It's not possible to assign direct channel zapping to the D-Pad buttons, which significantly reduces usability. - No 24-hour clock option
In Europe, we use the 24-hour time format. There is no setting to switch from the default AM/PM format. - Text size cannot be adjusted
Users with visual impairments may find it difficult that there is no option to increase the size of the on-screen text. - Channel name suffixes cannot be removed
Unnecessary additions such as “UK,” “US,” “HD,” “4K,” etc., cannot be hidden or removed, which clutters the interface.
I’m sharing this feedback not to complain, but because I believe in the potential of your platform. The hardware deserves a software experience that matches its quality. I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider implementing these features in upcoming updates.
Kind regards,
Part of the features you asked for (1*-I hope I'm not wrong about this one, 2* and 6*) could be solved by using a playlist editor (e.g. IPTVBoss or some online editors).
- No support for external EPG sources
-
And to add to what henkie asked, is it available in EU (couldn't find any dealer having it)? In fact I hardly found dealers. There's no indication (or at least I couldn't find it) to where to buy from on the site, which is quite strange...
-
In fact, I also believe this is a Formuler problem. I think they locked it so you can only record on external devices using MOL3. It’s really frustrating indeed. Please let us know if you find anything on the TiViMate community.

Hi,what recording device do you use?
Since i replaced my USB-stick with a 1 TB hdd,i had very little problems with recording (XCAPI)
Btw,since i started iptv i never had to do a factory reset

The same I had when it was working… with no changes whatsoever. henkie you’re a really great, great guy (really!!) but I think we’re somehow in “The Emperor's New Clothes” story now. This was called (and I didn’t agree at all at the time) as “a box with an app”, but now… The box is ace but the app is the one that is creating problems. If only they uncaged the other apps (recording diskspace etc.)
-
Programmed 2 recordings (by epg) last night: 1 was ok, the 2nd was not ok (failed recording time said 0 sec), will try again this evening.
No further issues so far.
Mine have ALL failed since the last two updates (no matter XCAPI or m3u) but I didn’t report it since I’m becoming more and more disappointed and tired of the “try factory reset” advice …
-
When holding the power button for 2 sec I only get the option to Standby or restart.
That’s true, it’s already been discussed here. It’s because the device is operated solely through BT and power off would make it inoperable.
-
Anyone found where the power control has gone.
before if you had to do a reset just needed to scroll down the briliant home page to the power button and select restart, but not with this rubbish new design, I want the old design back.
Simpler, on the remote, long-press the power button (the top right one) and choose one of the three options on the pop-up screen that appears. On the screen, waaaay more complicated than before, navigate to the settings menu, press right arrow button to go to the second page and you’ll find the menu there.

One problem after the last beta (29.05.2024): MOL3 shows a still image of the channel (not playing it) and it becomes unresponsive to the point that it exits the app and I have to reboot the box to make it work again. I managed to start the “other” player (TiviMate) which is more verbose regarding the errors immediately after the MOL3 crashed (it also didn’t work) and it threw the error in the attached screenshot. I don’t know if they are related or not but maybe it helps the devs. When encountering it next time I’ll also send a log file.
-
gabi,i think you have a somewhat unique set up,by merging M3U lists via the IPTV Editor (IPTVBoss)
In IPTVBoss I merge/combine two XC sources and the result is a .m3u file (let’s call it playlist) and a .xml/.xml.gz file for the epg. Recently, IPTVBoss introduced the posibility to generate (instead of the m3u) a XC portal but I hadn’t the time to try it yet.
-
I did try this on beta and it works (all 3 providers on XC),as long as you record NOT on the same provider you are watching (all 1 connection providers)
m3u or XC? Because I think the key word here is "m3u". Seems that a lot of things doable with XC connections are not possible using m3u (never mind mine which is a m3u that aggregates multiple sources).
-
gabi and henkie you need to have a provider with more than one connection at same time otherwise you can't record a channel and watch another, that's the most common reason for that screen you're gettin. I can do the same as adrilang just fine because i have unlimited connections from my provider, so i can watch a channel, have another on PIP and recording a third different channel. I would love MOL3 to have the multi screen studio option as other apps like tivimate has.
Yes, both of the providers in my m3u (generated by combining two providers with IPTVBoss editor) have multiple connections. On the other hand I don't know why a player should "police" the user in this case (it's their problem with their provider).
-
Recording one channel whilst watching another works perfectly fine for me.
You probably are the luckiest customer Formuler ever had. Everything seems to work fine for you. For me, when I record one channel and try to change it in order to watch another one, I get a pop-up message that says that changing channel will stop the recording. I'll add a screenshot when I get home.
-
If those two big (&ugly, I think) boxes on the home screen could be minimized or (better even) sent in a menu it would look nicer (my opinion). Otherwise I didn't see addressed any of the other issues raised here before (no single channel epg in m3u, single channel epg with no functionality in XC, no "record one watch another" channel functionality etc. etc.). Maybe in the stable update or even later (if ever).
-
Did you try to get again in the Beta update menu to see if any other update is available since a new beta was released yesterday or you just did the yesterday one?
-
mean,esp the phew part?
I presume it’s probably a sigh of relief
That it worked, that he doesn’t have to send back the box… -
I think that what regards the updates/upgrades we all leave from the wrong premisses, meaning that we think we’re “all heard”. Well… definitely not “all” and also, definitely, not “heard”. Especially not in betas. We’ll have to wait for the official update and decide: “should I stay or should I go”. We’ll all wheigh in all the arguments and decide. Personally, for the moment, I’ll stay. But only for the box and remote.
If you guys (Formuler guys), would buy the “other” app (or at least its functionalities) and MOL-ify it, you would have the best box/remote/app combination in the world.
-
henkie “Hi.i dont understand why you attempt to add a playlist in such a way?”
Maybe he likes to tinker his m3u or is a private one (with streams from other sources than the usual ones).
-
It seems only I have these problems… :))
OK, then one more question: is it possible to change TiviMate’s (or any other similar app’s) recording directory to a NAS destination or is it not, like in USB devices’ case?
Thank you!
-
I'll be short:
1) From time to time when starting MOL3 the playback freezes (only shows a still image of the channel) and refuses to work again without a reboot. Changing the channel shows the still video-frame of the new selected channel. No sound. My box is shut down (not in standby) during the periods is not used.
2) BT1 remote randomly switches from TV control (red light) to box control (yellow light) while using it (but no touch or long press of the top-left button).
Anyone else encountered these two problems?
-
Go to Market in home menu and install "Audio Optmizer" and restart the box. Maybe they can do something.
I think you didn’t read what he said: “On my Z11 pro max I ve for sure installed and run audio optimizer”. My only question is: if this optimizer is so important/necessary why is it not included in the firmware? Or is it a license problem?
-
Did it solve any of the major problems raised here (recording, single channel epg etc.)? Cause I, personally, don’t detect any change on my device. Hope that at least for others is useful…
-
Ho, thanks, I didn't know he used Tivimate. Was about to PM him to know...
I'll try Tivimate, then.
And I did two simultaneous recordings today (superposed most of the time, in fact) one via MOL3 and the other one via the other app (two sources combined in one m3u via IPTVBoss). Worked flawlessly. I’ll also try two simultaneous/superposed recordings (also MOL3+the other app) from the same m3u but this time from only one source (2 connections source). I think it’ll work without any problem since the only limiting factor is (should be) the internet connection. It would be so great if the MOL3 programmers would implement this for us not to have to resort to other apps… My only hope is that these results will NOT “inspire” anyone to block this workaround. And cheers henkie !

-
Some other punctual ones:
- ability to change recording location (if not for MOL3 at least for third party apps);
- ability to watch and record (different channels) for multiple connections;
- re-add single channel epg view for m3u (in fact for all types of connections) and the ability to program recordings for more days in advance from that menu (in XC connections this ability lacks);
- ability to have a programmed recording on a channel even though the box is not set on that particular channel;
- ability to dim the red/white light;
And some general ones:
- add+preserve+enhance and NOT limit functionalities while developing new versions of MOL (e.g. MOL3 vs. MOL2);
- generally speaking, do NOT put the user in a cage (apple like) by limiting his abilities to make use of the box's and MOL's full potentials.
-
The saving path for recordings is on Z11 -> USB Stick: \Android\data\tv.formuler.mol3.real\Recordings and you can not change it.
Also not for other apps (they only seem to be able to save their recordings in the internal memory)? If the case why not?...
-
I also added it in the "Features Request Z11" thread a week ago (at no. 5)
-
Well, I solved my MOL3 recording problems by (drum beats)... installing another app. I wouldn't even call it a competitor app since I used it before my first Z10 ProMax arrived. 4 (four) consecutive recordings on four different channels without any problem at all (it didn't even wake the box to make them) using the exact same m3u MOL3 obstinately refuses to work with (MOL2 did).
I could have posted a screenshot as proof but I don't want to hurt any of the Formuler guys' feelings (especially the almighty devs). Btw, the devs should understand that they should do FIRST what the clients (the ones that pay) ask and is reasonable and doable and only AFTER that what they think it should be done but might be wrong from the user’s point of view (e.g. removing the ability to record from the single channel epg menu - if and when it works). If I were someone from the decision makers in the company (I myself have a 23 years old company in the IT services which I founded so I quite know what I'm talking about) I would ask the devs to work at least one week here (support) or in the sales dept.. Just to see how important the customer is.
As a conclusion, on one hand I'm very happy that I solved my problem and on the other I'm really sad that I couldn't solve it using MOL3.
-
I have no idea why not, was requested but not teleported. Devs. have their reasons, whatever they are.
I begin to think the "Devs" hate IPTV and its customers
Joking! Send them my best! -
In single EPG it is also not possible to initiate recording only in main EPG.
Why not?... It was a very useful tool for programming recordings with more than 24 hours in advance (since the main epg only shows 24 hrs of program). Now we basically have a 7 days epg that we can see but with no practical use.
Btw, when on Z10 I used as the unique remote the LG TV one which has no main epg button and I scheduled the recordings exclusively using the single channel epg through the "right" button. Now, this would have been impossible.
Whose ideas (cutting off or limiting functionalities) are those anyway? Because they do not seem to follow the logic of the normal user: something that worked does not work anymore, sacrificing functionality on the altar of a so called improvement/progress...
-
The XC problem = single channel epg showing but completely inactive (e.g. you can not initiate a recording from it since pressing the OK button on a certain program has no effect at all) is not related to the playlist/epg editor since it's an XC connection that is not passed through the named editor.
In the same time, using the m3u (which is created by the mentioned editor): why does it work perfectly in MOL2 but not at all in MOL3?
-
For both not possible with current firmware, but you can insert this request to request thread so the devs can consider it later.
Just did that, thank you for the idea!
