One day works great by setting it to 3 hours update, but it doesn't help if I want to record something in advance, I don't understand why single channel EPG lists the days on the left, I can move around and see a full 5 or 6 days EPG with every program, yet the full EPG won't show this information.

Perhaps they should implement the ability to set a recording from the single channel EPG, that solves the issue, however I think we would all like to see the full 7 days on the main EPG, considering the number of people who seem to have this issue I would hope Formuler will try to do something about this, it is an expensive box and I really like it, wonderful to use, getting a full EPG working would make it incredible

Setting to 3 hours works, thank you, still find it strange that single channel epg (right click when watching a channel) gives me full 5 or 6 days, but the full epg gives me 1 or 2 days max

Yes TiviMate and IPTV Smarters work perfectly everytime, but they are just not as good as MyTVOnline which I absolutely love apart from the EPG issues I'm getting, the other software doesn't work so well with the remote and the buttons which is understandable as they are generic software

Thanks I will give that a try, this looks like some issue with the software to me, I hope they read this and try to resolve it

My Z11 Pro Max has a very flakey EPG, its starting to really annoy me now, I start by saying, I've load TiviMate and IPTV Smarters onto the box and both of these display the EPG fine, but I really like MyTVOnline and want to use that, it is one of the reasons I purchased this box.

I will do a Clear EPG and Refresh and the EPG appears to work fine, a few hours later and 1/2 the channels just says No Information in the main EPG and on the channel, however, if I press the Right Arrow button on the control when viewing the channel, I get the single channel EPG and this shows the channels programs with no issue.

Last night I was watching it, EPG was fine, then literally 10 minutes later to wasn't working again, it did change from Friday to Saturday during these 10 minutes, maybe that has a bearing or not, I don't know. I've tried both ways of loading the EPG, M3U and xtream and it makes no difference.

I also have 2 different IPTV providers and the same thing happens on both.

Anybody else having issues like this ?

Unfortunately, Formuler devices will brick themselves and fully self-destruct if you do this. It will prompt you with an error message at startup, then instantly shuts down.

You cannot even factory reset the device, or do anything -- it literally activates a kill switch, and the device is bricked

Sorry for the delay in replying, I opened a support case with Formuler but they never responded which is pretty crap, however I contacted the supplier of the box, they contacted Formuler and they removed the "Brick", I turned off my VPN and reconnected the box and it registered and worked fine, I am using VPN again now with no issues, it is just that first usage.

Happy to report I've solved the problem, there is a setting called Private DNS on the Network set-up, this was set to Automatic, this must be the default setting as I've never been in here, changing it to Off solved the issue.

Anybody know what Private DNS is and does ?

The URL is http:// but I did try https:// as well, the URL is small, http://xxx.xxx so it is almost impossible to get wrong, it is very strange indeed why it doesn't work, I'm baffled to be honest, I've done a DNS lookup which works and resolves to an IP Address, just wondering if the Formuler uses a specific DNS server which this URL isn't configured, it is certainly not being blocked by my ISP

Thank you, trust me, I checked, double checked and triple checked 😀 , I've got 2 Formuler boxes and I tried on both, details are correct and it doesn't work on them, I've now tried the URL on a Firestick (Tivi) and IPTV Smarters and it works on both of those

My IPTV provider gave me a portal url for example , when trying to connect using this URL MyTVOnline just gave me an error and refused to connect.

However, if I use this same URL on my Laptop running IPTV Smarters this URL works fine, both are connected to the same Wifi, I've asked the IPTV provider for a different URL but anybody got any clues why this won't work on the Formuler ?

I purchased a Z11 Pro Max in the UK and I am using it in the UK, it is an official UK model.

Sadly during set-up I connected to my Wifi Router which had an active VPN to the USA, it appears Formula decided I was using a UK box in the USA and has now blocked it, I get the warning message and it shuts down.

Can somebody at Formuler reset this so that I can start the set-up process again and use it. I was completely unaware of this requirement to use a local Wifi when setting it up, as a new user I had no clue, since looking at the error I can see the boxes are locked to regions which make sense, no problem with that. Considering a lot of people use VPN with IPTV I would have hoped a warning could be in the box.

I have contacted my supplier, but so far nothing has happened.

I hope a Formuler support person reads this and can assist, thank you.
