Left it unplugged overnight and it seems to have come back.
I noticed before the sound disappeared that it was doing something weird with the volume control. I turned the volume on the box all the way down whilst I was on the EPG, but then when I selected a channel, it told me it was at full volume, preventing me from turning it up - even though it was turned as far down as it would go.
I'll just need to avoid using the volume control on the box and stick to the TV in case it happens again.
Check in Android settings -> Sound, if set to RAW, change to LPCM.
It's set to LPCM. Had already looked in there. Have done a software reset also, no change.
Not getting any sound. Not on MYTVOnline or other apps I've tested.
Other than a reset, any idea how to fix it?
All other functions working through my TV and it only started after the update.
Whenever I reboot my box (which seems to be often because the standby bug still isn't fixed) it takes an age before it loads and allows me to use.
It just gets stuck on the loading screen. Is there a fix for this? A fix for the standby issue? A planned fix for either? It is extremely annoying to have to wait 5 minutes every time I decide I want to watch TV.
Having a similar issue. Virtually every 30 seconds it goes black and then immediately reconnects.
As if my box is intermittently losing connection temporarily. Doesn't happen with any other device in the house. Does the same thing on WiFi.
Making everything virtually unwatchable.
Try to change to VOD external player in your MOL settings and test again.
Tested VOD few minutes ago on 3 different providers, all works fine.
Tried that already, didn't work.

The question was do you use Stalker or M3U to connect with your provider?
I use Stalker. I think I've fixed the issue though.
Turned off WiFi and it seems to be fine since then. Think there might have been an issue with the hardwire connection and it's possibly been dropping.
Still can't get the actual VOD section to work though. Not sure if that's how my provider (Vader) format things or not. But when I go to VOD and try to watch things nothing plays.

Game of Thrones season 7:
Click it, it should allow me to select the episode, but it only shows episode one, which doesn't play either.
I should add, the VOD itself doesn't work either. Hasn't done at any point really.
I go to VOD, I click to play a file, it comes up with the number 1 and then does nothing. No option to play, no option to sift through episodes.
Are you connecting with portal or playlist?
I'm clicking to watch something that's been on previously direct from the EPG.
It starts playing fine, but it eventually pauses, quits the video in question and then even my channels don't work for sometime. It's like it's losing connection when playing. I have to restart my box to get the channels to play. No issues when just watching actual channels.
...and then exits when you try to press play again. Happened to me three times in a row. Anyone else having this issue?
i have both loaded onto my Z7 and Netflix does crash but on the 3rd or 4th attempt it will load. No problems with Prime only that i can't get 4K on there only 1080p
Can you remember how you installed Prime? Seem to have got a version of Netflix working at least.
The new update fixed it. Also changing power option from standby to power off fixed it for me prior to that too.
No. mine now isnt turning on. when you hit the power on remote, nothing happens. changed batteries on remote...still nothing.
Change the power option from Standby to Power Off in Settings. Worked for me.
I've had mine for a while now and, whilst it's a good box, I have found there to be lots of issues when trying to get things like Amazon Prime Video or Netflix to function properly, so much so that I question what purpose having the android functionality is. MYTV Online works perfectly, so if I were to go back now, I'd probably buy a Formuler Z Nano and a Fire Stick to give me the functionality I want from everything.
Does anyone have working versions of these apps?
Neither seems to be functional on my box. Able to get both to load, but get an error whenever I attempt to play a video.
Netflix worked on my Dreamlink T1 previously, unsure why it doesn't work on the Z7+.
