Glad to hear that everything is working. In fact there are 2 USB ports for Data USB A and USB C.

Please check also on PC/Laptop the version of the chip. I am almost certain that Z Mini works well with RTL8153B-VB-CG, as this is single chip solution for both ethernet and USB. Sometimes manufactures uses whatever is available and then becomes problems with the drivers which are into the kernel of the Z mini. I hope that with Bewinner is consistent .

I have zero issues . My Wi-Fi is off. Ethernet and usb stick are always present. Using the original power adapter which comes with the Z Mini.

Is almost a week now and I don’t expect any problems.

Sometimes in the mini you have to do it twice. Just press simultaneously both buttons and see if the picture changes. I have also experienced, but once again, just have a bit of patience and then is working perfectly

I think you can try first with the cable you already have. Some models Samsung have only HDMI 4 as 2.1 and is ment for game console or PC. But try to enable HDMI signal plus from your TV and use HDMI 3 for ARC

I think you need to connect your soundbar to HDMI 3 for ARC. Don't know this model, but on Samsung is standard. Then you can connect your Formuler to HDMI 1, 2 or 4. Also set HDMI signal plus on, it gives you more options about frequency, color space etc. And if you just set your Formuler to Auto resolution, it should display 4k60hz. You can also manually select from the Formuler settings menu

I have zero problems with Amazon prime on Z Mini.

Just installed from Google store. Everything is working, UHD, HDR, sound etc.

Don't own Z 11 pro anymore,but it was working there as well.

Yes I can. Is working with some apps, but not with Odido, Nos live, Amazon prime , Videoland, NlZiet.

It gives me the choice to select, but is not opening every app.

Again, not a big deal. I can work around. But if is possible to be fixed, would be great 👍

For the people who experience this problem, I think there's a solution. You can install 3rd party app- tv quick actions pro. There's is an option for AFR and you can select apps you want to run on specific framerate.

I don't own anymore Z 11 pro, but was just playing around with the app and saw this update. On my Z mini is possible to leave it on Auto 4k60hz and select apps to run on different framerate. Pro version cost few Euro's, but is a nice app, you can also select Startup App create macros etc.

Well in my case is Odido tv.

I can work around with tv quick actions pro and is really not a big deal. It would be great if the Launcher can do it.

I have a question about the Launcher settings.

There's a option to select Startup App. For me is working only for My Tv online and You Tube. Other apps can be selected, but they don't Startup automatically.

I can only confirm your observations.

With WiFi I am getting up/down around 300/300, but my router is very close. However WiFi connection is always stable.

And about picture quality... I am also with Samsung Tv and the Z Mini provide the best picture quality I've ever seen on my TV. Have tried different boxes, but this is next level.

2gb ram is enough, well you might have to wait fraction of the second when you are scrolling around, but for me the picture quality makes it worth it.

You can easily add extra storage with a simple USB C OTG Adapter and if you really need wired connection there's a perfect working solution, which I posted hier:

Is definitely working. I was observing with AIFR on and off. Have some channels which are with horrible low bitrate and AIFR makes for me a difference. Picture quality on the Z Mini is really spot on

I did experiment with different power supply 2.4 and 3.0 Amp, but ABLEWE sometimes is not connecting, no matter what power supply is. Need reboot and then is working again. Off course if have the WiFi on you will not notice until you need timeshift or recording. Is most happening after few hours sleep mode.

Once again not a big deal, just observation. I think Bewinner could be the winner . Already tried all scenarios I can think of and is working just fine. We will see after few days...

I am getting 275 up/300 down speed , witch is perfect for this device. Timeshift and recording booth working with 32gb USB flash drive.

You can plug/unplug ethernet cable, usb flash drive and is connected without need of reboot etc. All the ports are illuminated

I did, but I will use it only with the Mini, so I did not spend much time on my laptop. Just wanted to check chipset version. So far, so good. Rebooting few times and is instantly recognized. Will see overnight with sleep how it will behave

Just to mention - on my widows laptop I've got yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager with Bewinner , but was instantly recognized by the Z Mini. I was not trying to fix it on my laptop, but it could be reason for bad reviews on Amazon .

Everything is working straight away with the adapter provided by Formuler. Ethernet and usb 32gb tested, few times off/on. Looks very nice and promising.

Last few days I was trying out several USB hubs, but without succes. ABLEWE 8 in 1 is working, but after power down not connecting always. I've tried different power supply without succes. My guess is that they are changing the chipset with newer version of the Realtek 8153 and the kernel of the Mini doesn't have the proper drivers. Different makers with the same ethernet chipset, not working.

However this is not a deal breaker as the WiFi is rock solid and the Mini is working amazing with zero problems for me. USB OTG shown in this thread works perfectly with 32 GB

Then was something with the box. Anyway I love the Mini and not going back to try with another one .

Really weird, as everything else was working just fine.

Well I understand, but I am not going to try again, before to know if the box was faulty or not. Maybe using different memory or something. Don't know... Could be whole batch or just single problem.

Thank you for trying out and for the other forum users probably there's is little left to do, as the problem can't be reproduced by few people here.

At the moment I am more than happy with the Mini .

Picture is really spot on and well 2gb ram - I can live with it:)

P.S. the seller said is probably my TV or software limitation and send me here to search for solutions. Well I did, but honestly the mini has maybe even beter picture quality, of course with it's own limitations.

After all if the Z11 pro max was used only with MOL3, then I would also not have any issues, as AFR changes the settings and everything was working further just fine

Off course, I don't wanna mix up both models. I tried to explain the problem - all I heard was that the problem is in my TV. There are few more users who were asking about this some time ago. I guess is not a big issue probably, but also not faulty box. For me the problem is solved and the Mini is really spot on.

Well I received the Mini this afternoon and can confirm that resolution stays as desired. Picture is also spot on!

You need to leave my TV online alone. If you open channel there, then the AFR changes the settings and you think there is no problem. Just check on the desktop without MOL3. Some people are using different apps and then the problem is present.

I already tried everything, was the whole weekend trying different cabels, all HDMI ports, all possible scenarios. Only option was shut down mode. I think it's a software bug and easy to fix, but there's no adb debugging on this box.

So why not try something new? I don't really need recording option and my WiFi is very strong. To be continued...

Thanks for the advice.I gave up on the F11 pro max and ordered the mini.Tomorrow will see if he mini works different on the same TV set

Well I can conclude that Nokia 8010 for example stays always in my preferred settings. Is not the tv, I've tried literally everything. Maybe will give a try with the mini. Who knows... Thanks for all your efforts

P.S. As I mentioned earlier, the Z11 pro max keeps the resolution settings only if is turn off mode. At least in my case. And once again is really not a big deal for people who use mainly MOL 3, because AFR switch to 50hz . But for me is a kind of deal breaker, because I am using some other apps.

No, HDMI CEC is off. However I have also tried with ON and all suggestions which are on the forum

Just to confirm. 1080p/50hz not staying. After half an hour sleep mode is back to Auto 4k60hz.

Will try with 1080p/50hz, but then if I watch content in 4k it will stay 1080p, so this is not really an option for me. But I will try and come back with the results.

Thanks for the effort. Probleem is not wth MOL3, AFR will change the Hz. Just happened that at home is used for general purpose with other apps than MOL3.

Anyway I will stick with something else I guess.

Well any other than auto resolution and then let it go into sleep. And give it some time. Then check if the chosen resolution stays.

P.S. I guess in auto resolution you get @60hz?

No sorry , I don't have. What I was reading is mostly problem with Samsung Tv. Mine is The Frame QE50LS03BAUXXN. I've tried few boxes and none have this behaviour.When you choose some preference, then they stay. It's pity, because I like the F11 pro max, but I will forced to use something else. Anyway hopefully will be fixed soon.
