Perform Factory Reset.
Android Settings > Storage & reset > Factory data reset > default PIN is 0000 or 1234
After Factory reset, re-test the wifi. If the device continues to restart when trying to use wifi, contact your dealer for warranty instructions.

Is this the same as in z8? so we get a new button on the infobar ( to make the program go to beginning) , because with this description seems not to beThe feature is the same. The way to invoke the feature is different.
Mol1 requires you to press the "|< " button on the remote to start Cloud TS.
MOL2 has an on-screen button under the info bar.

But I never had this problem. Only after upating to last stable version of MOL2.
Anyway, having MAC access (I think also known as stalker) can I do you you're saying about XC api or m3u?
Your provider can change the playback limit on the server side at any time. Ask your provider why it was changed to 3hrs.
Playback limit changes on your service and mol software update are only coincidental. there is no causation.

Mytvonline2 supports the standard m3u format but it does not support the m3u4u format

When I enter this type of format I just get an m3u error. However, the format seems to work in a lot of other IPTV apps. Is there any chance this can be supported ?

after the recent downtime ive had to find a new provider.
They asked me for MAC and serial which i have provided by taking a photo of bottom of the box
when they set it up and tell me its working i keep getting error message CHECK PORTAL URL even though its exactly right.
i know they should know what they are doing but is it the serial number they need or ID?? my last provider just needed the MAC
"Server returned HTTP 404"
- This is displayed if you typed in the URL incorrectly in the MYTVOnline2 (MOL2) > Connections > Portal Edit menu or,
- You were given an incorrect URL or,
- It could be related to an HTTP redirection issue in MOL2 that was patched in the current beta software.
Which version of MOL2 are you using now?

Hello, If you selected "ALWAYS" in the "Open with..." dialog, follow the step below to clear the "ALWAYS" setting:
- Identify which external player you have selected to ALWAYS use for playback
- Home > Android Settings > Apps > Select the app that you identified in step 1
- Select "Clear Defaults"

It may be fixed, but the priority is not very high.
You can accomplish more advanced file management on your device by using a dedicated app.
Install 'TV File Commander' on your device from the Market.
Open the app and connect to your PC using FTP, SMB, or the web interface provided by the app.

If you stayed around long enough, you would have found out that you probably need to install the Android TV version of the app in order to navigate the app with the d-pad buttons.

Hey Guys
Can you fix the Parental Channel bug that doesn't allow me to log into the Adult Channels using the Pin. Pin Mismatch. Pin Mismatch. Set the Pin Code in Parental Control, but even then it doesn't allow entry into Adult . Reset everything multiple times and still adult channels are locked. Seem to be an issue even in this beta and the latest offical version.

Mytvonline on my Z8 won’t work on portal or the m3u4u Given to me by the supplier. I now had to load tivimate onto it. naybe someone could tell me why the m3u won’t work on mytvonline on the Z8 ?
Did you enter the playlist URL in the playlist section of MOL2 on the Z8?

I have just tried this update and I still get the message mytvonline has stopped working
I have stb emu installed on this box and it’s working ok
I have asked my provider to contact formuler as requested

Using two z8’s and USB thumb drives, yesterday I scheduled 3 recordings on one z8 and none were recorded.
After you schedule your recordings, check the "Schedule" menu to make sure they are listed there. Main Menu > Schedule
You can schedule a recording using Z8 even if the event info says "No Information"
Just navigate to the approximate time slot in the EPG grid and press OK on your remote.

Hi new panel from provider up and running what I'm told is myTVonline is supported and should be working but I have tried on a few formuler and everytime I try loading portal it gives me error saying myTVonline stopped working and exits out of app any idea why this would be happening?

my provider have a groups with special character that doesnt show on mytvonline here is an example

i saw all the groups channels except those with this special character.

Open your m3u in a text editor and then PM me the following data that contains the bullet point. Leave out the streaming URL:

Hi guys,
I’ve the z8 box upstairs running my Iptv sub ..all’s fine
Now downstairs, the e2 solo box also running my Iptv sub isn’t the best at Iptv, epg issues etc... but....we use that downstairs because we also run the roof Ariel through it so the wife can record non streamed terrestrial channels .
So both Iptv and terrestrial she can choose through the same remote ...
I’m wanting to bin off the solo2 and use the z8 box downstairs....but with only the one tuner she can’t choose or record terrestrial channels,
So.... would the formuler usb Ariel dongle fix the issue ?
Would she be able to switch to terrestrial and or Iptv through the z8 remote and record the terrestrial freeview channels ?

Yes, you can connect the USB DVB-T tuner to the Z8 downstairs and then connect your ariel to the usb tuner.
You can watch IPTV and then switch to the USB ariel tuner from within MOL2 and watch TV both ways using the same MOL2 app interface.Recording is also possible while using the USB ariel tuner from within MOL2.

As you pointed out ONLY way to delete or edit my IPTV settings is to disconnect network. This for me is pointing that MyTvonline app latest update is to blame.....is there a way to go to previous version without resetting whole Z8 Box?? or maybe there is an another 3rd party app which I can install and try out to figure out what is at fault? thanks for your help
You previously said your provider was experiencing technical difficulties. The Z8 software update has nothing to do with it.

Of course you can edit your MOL2 settings.
Just cancel the portal connection by pressing the back or exit button on the remote.
Then open the Main Menu and edit your settings.
Failing that, disconnect your Z8 from the network and then the portal connection will fail automatically.
After that you can open the Main Menu and edit your connection settings.

It is a different way to connect to the same service.
Ask your provider if it is supported and if they can provide it to you.
And ask them to contact formuler support.

Try XC API connection as an alternative if available in the meantime.

Maybe your ISP blocked your provider.
Try with a VPN to see if it works.

"Power Off" mode is "Deep Standby" mode
Use "Power Off" mode if you require <0.5w "standby"

Did you input the m3u URL in the Playlist slot in MYTVOnline1?
If you input the m3u URL in a PORTAL slot, it won't work.

I have a Z8 plugged into a 2012 LG 1080p tv. Videos are super pixelized when the scenes are changing in movie or even on youtube. Mytv2 = very pixelized too (looks like bad resolution) Im wondering if the HDMI 2.0 from Z8 and my old TV are not working well together.
Is it a possibility? In terms of internet connection i have ethernet cable plug with FIBE 150mb. Not the problem for sure

Press the RESOLUTION button on your remote and make sure the resolution is set to 1080p

Ensure that the channel number has not changed from when you entered the scheduled recording, that could also give a recording without a picture.

You can try to work around the provider-controlled inactivity limit by asking your provider for an XC API login (username/password)
Some MAC portals can have inactivity limits. If you are able to connect to the same service using XC API, there are no inactivity limits.

Hi everyone
Because it happens that the emission is shifted in time, it would be really interesting to be able to shift of 5,10,15,20,25 or 30 seconds a recording.
I know it's possible to add time to a recording, but it's interfering with another possible recording.
The solution is really to be able to shift a recording.
NOT ADD TIME to recording but SHIFT recording by 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 seconds
SHIFT 10 seconds means that the recording starts 10 seconds later but also ends 10 seconds later.
Try the following:
- Open the EPG (Press EPG button on the remote)
- Navigate to a future event you want to record
- Press OK on the remote
- Modify Start Time and End Time to your preference. Only 1 minute increments are available. Smaller increments won't be implemented.
