Hello....after recent IPTV downtime my provider has re-established service but NOW when I load IPTV Portal (which hasn't changed address) the usual panel come up but remote is unresponsive...you cannot choose any item...and after a few seconds Z8 box restarts on it's own. Never happened before. Software on Z8 latest. Cannot even edit or delete IPTV and re try with other. Any solutions please?? Thanks

It is a different way to connect to the same service.
Ask your provider if it is supported and if they can provide it to you.
And ask them to contact formuler support.

i will try but very difficult as of now getting answer from provider with all that has happened...I will wait and see what happens. But I still cannot comprehend why or how I cannot delete or edit my present MyTvonline2 settings.....how can I do this with box restarting?? Does that not show that it is problem with Z8?

Of course you can edit your MOL2 settings.
Just cancel the portal connection by pressing the back or exit button on the remote.
Then open the Main Menu and edit your settings.
Failing that, disconnect your Z8 from the network and then the portal connection will fail automatically.
After that you can open the Main Menu and edit your connection settings.

As you pointed out ONLY way to delete or edit my IPTV settings is to disconnect network. This for me is pointing that MyTvonline app latest update is to blame.....is there a way to go to previous version without resetting whole Z8 Box?? or maybe there is an another 3rd party app which I can install and try out to figure out what is at fault? thanks for your help

You previously said your provider was experiencing technical difficulties. The Z8 software update has nothing to do with it.

I said that my IPTV provider like many others these last days had to reprogramme because of the raids on certain IPTV and XtremeCodes....he is still using the same Portal address......why should this freeze the Z8?? Freezing the Portal I can understand but freezing the whole box with even the remote unresponsive seems to me other reason. I am trying to proceed without having to reset the whole box and go to previous MyTvonline2 version to see if it is provider problem without losing all my installed apps.

1. Unplug usb
2. Close all apps in background (menu button holding 2sec and then red button to close all apps)
3. Install the latest Cumulative Beta -> Beta firmware 1.4.25-1.4.30 / Mytvonline 2 software 7.2.3-7.3.0 for Z8.
How To Install:
Home Menu -> Software Update -> in this windows just press "0227" -> Red Icon and Beta Test SW appear (right corner) -> Press Red Button -> Now is the Firmware and Software shown, press now "OK" button for install.
Let the box to do everything alone until you see home menu, after update and first start the box needs more time to boot.
4.Test your box and only mytvonline2 app to see if box freezes or remote becomes unresponsive. If all works fine and the box works without freezes, then could be some of the installed apps the issue. Now you can start to use app by app an test how the box react. If the issue appear again after using some of your other installed apps then deinstall this app, reboot box and check again.
5. If nothing of this helps, make factory reset and set the box new.

Today tried Portal again...same issue...Portal either loads till 99% and box freezes and restarts..or Portal loads 100% but portal menu does not show and Portal freezes on loading page with a channel open underneath...box then restarts. On both scenarios remote unresponsive...no exit no back no home. Since this issue no new apps installed and only latest Z8 software update done. Cannot try other IPTV provider as I do not have and unfortunately my Provider is not returning any email messages....seeing that other who have same issue even after beta software install or total reset still no joy will wait to see what happens.....

Seems that it is a problem from some developer on new IPTV system that providers are working on given the recent attacks....

Had a response from my provider...told me to wait a few more days and see what progress is made. If issue is not resolved...yes I will try M3U link either on the Z8 or will use my old VU+zero.....

The problem is, affected providers changed, downgraded or upgraded their server scripts and this is the result. The providers must finish first their software change so the devs. can know later what is exactly changed, downgraded or upgraded to make also changes in MOL/MOL2, if neccessarry.
Affected Users should use for this time m3u playlist for connect.

it's simple, MyTVonlnine need to support API xtreamcodes v1, not V2 because it's down
do not wait xtreamcodesv1 to be upgraded because it's encrypted version.

Re-update IPTV Portal issue....still same problem with my IPTV provider Portal....have since installed StbEmu Android app on my Z8 and Portal loads without any problem. This confirms that issue is being caused by incompatibility between NEW Panel used by my Provider and MyTvOnline2. Provider also said that other clients using formuler boxes are having no issues loading Portal...which suggests that they are either using Z7 or Z8 WITHOUT latest version of MyTvOnline2. Anyone still have issues and any solutions. Can Formuler investigate and maybe offer a patch or update.

My Provider has fixed issue regarding loading of his URL on MyTvOnline2....he asked me for my Mac Address again and told me to restart Z8 and try again and now it works...

many providers that have downgraded their XC version means they’re using a hacked one which really is not advisable even if it does get people back online quicker.A lot of providers are testing and moving panels away from XC; this means providers will need to speak direct with Formuler and other DEVs to work out a solution.
For the end user it’s just a waiting game. If you’ve got a good provider they should be keeping you well informed!

Exactly....My Provider has moved onto some kind of New Panel and that is why I had issues on my Z8 or specifically MyTvOnline2. Until Provider fixed the issue I installed StbEmu Android app which works perfectly for those who have IPTV URL and not M3U link. I intend to keep this app just in case future issues crop up.

Try a different android app instead MyTvOnline2 for your M3U link and see if it works so you can know if it is problem from Provider or from MyTvOnline 2 app.

Yes..that is what my Provider did..but I am using URL not M3U link like orm123....so maybe he has different issue...but he still could try that out.

Ask your provider to give you m3u url, if they only use mac then ask them to re activate your account
