  • Z12 Remote won't work sometimes

    Goodday, yet i catch the remote what lay on my table.

    Pushed the on/off button in of tv and didn't work.

    I clap on the back of remote 2 times and pushed again on on/off button and tv goes on.

    Strange. Batteries are good in remote. Worked whole day long. Only sometimes at evening not and in morning. 2 ticks on the back and it works?

    Will try it next time again, if it's help again then i place a piece of paper in it or so.

    But last time i did it too ticking on the back and won't worked then i thought. Ik keep trying.

    Changed to solved already. If it appears again and ticking helps. I let status solved.

    This is fine so. You set it to automatic.

    Did you download from the formuler market app (green logo with white trolly) the "audio optimizer" app and run it?

    Check then at sound again.

    You need to check on your tv at hdmi settings or sound settings is passthrough as bistream/raw format.

    on my lg i see at hdmi setup with each hdmi port that it's bitstream. (Or if it set it to pcm.

  • [Z11 Pro] Factory Reset Failure: Device keeps booting into custom retailer app (List iPlay). Need Stock ROM / Factory Reset Tool ZIP.

    Maby after 10 times trying it works and you come on formuler desktop.

    If yes?...:

    Go to home menu -> system info -> if block installed, you should see menu entry "Check for configuration update"-> Highlight the configuration line, then press 0 (Zero) -x10 times -> It will factory reset and unblock the entire device. This will perform a factory reset and remove the block.

    sorry but there are no firmware files for the box.

    Also this morning...

    Had box in shutdown modus.

    Pushed tv on and didn't work, just like yesterday. I made a movie from it but i the same thing as yesterday so I didn't upload it.

    Anyway, i put out one battery...

    ...put battery direct back in...

    ...and 3 seconds later i can ise button for tv on???

    How about that😂

  • Favorite Live-TV channels disappear

    Most good providers stop with mac id. Go for extream codes. Url, username and password.

    Much better. Sometimes give mac id problems also with the strangest things. With vod is goes at max till 2022 or so.

    Let your provider covert mac id to XCAPI.


    So far i know i have no ideas then refresh and restart or so. I get messages via some chat channels that 2 providers are already converting mac id to xtream codes.

    A try worth yes, but it are the originals and 61% is enough I think. Younsee on movie that when i take out one battery and put it back everything works again?

    But will try new alkaline batteries. Will get them next week.

  • Z12 Remote won't work sometimes

    Goodday my friends.

    Every day it happens that my remote is not working, mostly in evening after diner when i watch downloaded movie the side ir-volume buttons and in the evening or morning box on/off button sometimes. (See attached movie)

    What did i do already:

    Backlight set to: off

    Hdmi cec on box and tv are OFF (i don't use it never)

    6 times reset the remote with ok and 0 button. And set it up again. Then it works again. But it keeps happening every day.

    Batteries out for 10 minutes. And then plugged in again.

    Disconnect and connected with bluetooth couple of times (Have no other bluetooth devices here, yes my phone, but bluetoot off)

    Or i can simply do take one battery out and plug it in and then it works again the ir-buttons. Batteries in remote make connection, otherwise led will not blinking. (Before i take one out)

    (See attached movie when i try to put tv on.)

    I can use box, i see white led blinking from the bluetooth on remote. But sometimes that also won't work later the day. It blinks white, but reacts not on box. (Very rare, 1 time a week)

    Battery in and out and works again.

    It are the new batteries delivered with the box. 61% full.

    And later the day after dinner i watch a movie, but because dolby atmos thruehd sound, i need to use the volume side ir-buttons. And then it work also not always? Then battery out and in and it works again?

    When i shutdown the box or with standby before i go to bed, and the next day i got the same problem. I wanna put my tv on. But no reaction. Led blinking. But tv stays off.

    I have a lg 55qned866r tv.


    Have some forum friends the same issue?

    Edit: set box to standby modus again, but let the box on. Checking if i watch a movie tonight or the volume buttons also won't work anymore. Just for test.

    I had it too the first times, after 5 factory resets it happen almost no more. If it will do i sent logs too.

    The devs will fix it. They are great.

    Mxplayer it's the problem itselfs. The passthrough don't work for years.

    Vlc player on Z12 and Novaplayer works, but if you speed forward the movie, it's glitchy yes and will hang with a terrible hard scratching sound, and color become strange and go back to desktop or reboot after 20 seconds.

    So i use kodi so long, till update of vlc player or nova player or Z12 firmware.

    I can also have whole package/bouquette. But it loads to long and i don't understand the languages.

    Can you contact your provider(s) and give them the job to delete all your countries on your subscription!

    And let only the countries you watch in your subscription.

    You can take the whole package with countries.

    But if you live in Italy as example.

    I don't believe you watch to russia, vietnam, france, india, china etcetera.


    So in short: contact your provider(s) and let them add only the countries you watch in your subscription(s).

    If that is all done at all your subs, delete cache from mytvonline and reboot device.

    And refresh your subscription(s).

    Nice piece of work, but for people who doesn't understand.

    In your opinion, on which boxes you need to install and run audio optimizer in in which don't?


    Can you change yourself (you i mean) if you find out something wrong, can you change the .apk audio optimizer for z8, z8, z10, z11 and z12 if needed?

    Download/put movies on it and play it without plex.

    I used plex years ago. Didn't like it.

    Maby i will give it a try again my friend.

    But now i download movies from spotnet to my self made Network Attached Storage (NAS) from a raspberry pi 5.

    Works like a charme.

    No plex needed. On formuler z11 and z12 installed file manager plus app and with this app i can connect to my nas and play movies with Kodi.

    Great system.

    I noticed that in kodi you need change a setting for the black screens from dolby vision .mkv movies begin this year. Maby it helps? Trying worth.

    Start kodi, cogwheel, player, scroll down to "basic" in bottom left corner. Press 3 times OK button till "basic" is changed to "Expert".

    Go to video's, scroll down on right side till you see: dolby vision compatiblemodus. Set the switch ON.

    Then you can go back and close kodi and try again?

    Can you make with your mobile phone a wifi hotspot?

    Connect with your z11 to your phone wifi hotspot and try update again.

    So z11 can restore on all z11 devices.

    Z12 on all z1e devices,

    Gtv, z10 etc on that devices.

    If it's the same device it's okay.

    Can be. Dolby vison is only on some movies. Not all movies.

    And almost 99% of the tv channels don't have dolby vision.

    And or your tv doesn't support it.


    Change it to adaptive and or off please.

    First it needs an ip.

    Sow make a ip like: 10.0.0.122 (example)

    Then Gateway (router) should be: 10.0.0.1

    Prefix length 24

    Dns: 9.9.9.9

    (Dns2) 8.8.8.8

    I clicked on cast option.

    I saw 2 tv's but no z12.

    On my z12 i go to youtube settings.

    Choose connect with tv code.

    Because if you have 2-4 servers and edited groups and favorites all set on the 1 takes a bit of time but to have the ability tor restore to your other boxes is such a time saver that way all my boxes are the same it's called familiarity ......

    This is already possible.

    You say yourself a backup on the same four boxes with the portals.

    Put usb in your box.

    In mytvonline2 or mytvonline3 go to menu, and then backup and restore option.

    You got 4 the same boxes, so you can backup one, and restore to other 3.

    What do you mean by UTP cable? Are you saying I should connect to my router via ethernet cable instead of using WIFI?

    I can't seem to change the IP address to static. Every time I try, it reverts back to DHCP. IPv6 was enabled so I've disabled it today.

    Utp cable is ethernet cable yes.


    It should be possible to hold ok button onnyour wifi name and edit it i thought. Then you make it static. If you don't know how to.

    I advice strongly ethernet cable.
