Probably a stupid question, but here goes.
I am using MYTVOnline2 on a Formuler Z10 Pro Max
Can I make a recording (onto the micro SD card) and play it back on a laptop (for viewing on a flight etc)
Or are the formats totally incompatible?

Yes you can, there will be created ts. files, this can be later from you also merged with some ts tool and also converted in other format if you need.

I think "mediaplayer" on Windows should work,just try it

No it doesn't. Doesn't recognise the file type.
Try mxplayer.
