  • Hello, the second Z12 arrived yesterday.

The first Z12 is connected to a Samsung TV, and everything is perfect there.

    I'm using the second Z12 with a PANASONIC TX-EX780, built in 2017.

Everything is in the original box from the Z12.

The TV is a 4K TV and supports HDR10+.

    Now, to the Z12.

    All updates have been done.

    The problem.

Sometimes I get a black screen after rebooting and have to unplug the power cord. After plugging the power cord back in, the Z12 boots up again, and the only setting that works is 1080p/60Hz.

For display and sound, "Screen resolution" "Display Mode" only works with "Auto," and that only works with 1080p 60Hz.

Color Space Settings: also only "Auto"

The auto frame detection in MOLTV3 doesn't work. Everything is only played in 1080p60Hz, regardless of whether it's live TV, movies, or series, and there's no HDR even though the movies have HDR.

If I set the "HDR Output Mode" to anything other than "OFF," I get a black screen again and have to unplug the Z12.

Changing the HDMI cable doesn't help either.

I always have to switch the HDMI port on the TV from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2, then everything works fine as usual. If I restart again, the error occurs again, and then back from HDMI 2 to HDMI 1, and then everything works again. It's a very strange error.

This has never happened on the Z11.

    What could be the problem?

    One more question.

The front light can be dimmed while in use, but it shines brightly in standby mode. Can the light also be dimmed in standby mode?

I would be very grateful for an answer.

  • Goodday my friend,

Maby is this also a little bug what maby should be fixed in next update.

There a so many tv brands.

Keep the hdr function off till next update.

And if update is there, check changelog and who knows hdr-function is improved and you can set it back to normal.
