    Coming from Z8/MOL2 my new Z12 Ultra behaves very different when waking up from stby. Usually I put my Z12 into stby when finished watching TV. The next day, when I power up the Z12 I get the formuler writing on the screen with the 4 jumping coloured dots and then Mol3 starts up. It's like Mol3 crashed during stby.

    But not always. Now and then the Z12 is right there, showing the TV channel last watched.

    Is your box in settings menu really on standby or shutdown. Please check it.

    Right upper corner and then to right. You see other menu with energy modus. Is it on stand by, or shut down?


    Try to install latest software version if you did not already. Beta is final now so.


    Great choice the Z12 my friend! Yes okay, it need some updates. But one is a hughe update and it's coming soon!

    Like every new product like Windows, Linux, Cars, Tv boxes, TV's etc.

    All need updates.

    I wish you a good weekend and give the small team the time to finish the very big Z12 update.

    Let we hope they get it done before end January. It are a lot of fixes and testing takes many time.

    Hope they also fixed the error I got with the last update that the box starts when I watch my satellite receiver.
    Has now happened again.
    The VPN menu appears and the box shows that it is turned off. (red).
    Then have to turn the box off.

    I hope it for too for you.

    But i don't know when the update will come and what the big changelog is.

    We can only wait...

    Thank you for your input.

    yes sure it is in stby. I switch it off with a short press on the remote. When yoy want to shut it down completly you do a long press and then get the menu for stby, restart or shut down. If its shut down and you restart the first thing that appears on the screen is a logo Z12 Ultra and only then starts the formuler sign with the dancing coloured balls and then starting MOL3.

    As I said, a few times it stayed in stby and and the TV screen appears right away.
