A lot of Dolby Vision-files is still not possible to play in Plex! Will this be fixed???

There is no Dolby Vision on Z11...
This type of box is unfortunately not designed to use anything other than MyTvOnline. The rest is not very well optimized...
There are several profiles for Dolby Vision files: P5, P7 (MEL), P7 (FEL), P8, P10...
Normally, only certain profiles cause issues. Either they only play in HDR10 or they don't play at all.
Generally, it's the P7 with FEL layer that causes problems on this type of Android box.
On Plex, this is what I experienced when I still had the box for testing:
- DV P7 FEL file with "Force DoVi Profile 7 Support" enabled = DV but black screen
- DV P7 MEL file with "Force DoVi Profile 7 Support" enabled = DV
- DV P7 FEL file without "Force DoVi Profile 7 Support" = HDR10
- DV P7 MEL file without "Force DoVi Profile 7 Support" = HDR10
But it was a little while after the release of the box, without the latest updates.
Unfortunately, I hadn't tested the other profiles, but generally, they don't cause any issues.

Maby you set your tv to dolby vision image.
But z11 doesn't support it. Only dolby atmos.

Maybe, but not in Dolby Vision then, as this picture setting is not available on the Z11 series
It's read in HDR10 at worst.
Do you have a media info for a file that won't play?
We won't be able to tell if it's a fel or mel file, but at least we'll know which profile it belongs to.

It wasn't decoding the movie Halloween 1978 in Kodi.
But Kodi has a switch in expert modus to convert DV 8 to DV10 or so.
Then i worked fine and i saw image.
Maby plex has also such switch?

decoding fine with Plex (Format Profile : Main [email protected]@High) and my Oled LG G2. Never had pb with DV/Plex/Z12
