  • Dear Team and Community,

I know how to create custom groups and add my selected channels to them.

However, after doing the above, I am unable to hide the static/parent default category IF my custom group is using a channel from that static/parent category.

    Example:

Static/Parent Default Category = UK Entertainment

    Channel within Static/Parent Default Category = BBC1

My Custom Group = TV - STANDARD

Channel added to My Custom group = BBC1. Please note when adding this channel, I had to first find the channel by selecting 'UK Entertainment' and then selecting the channel to add it to my custom group.

    So far so good.

Now if I try to hide 'UK Entertainment', I receive a warning stating that hiding this static/parent category will also affect my custom group, meaning, I will need to have both 'TV - STANDARD' and 'UK Entertainment' listed/visible in my menu.

My visible menu now consists of both my custom groups AND the static/parent category that the channel is originally assigned to.

Is it possible to just display the custom group(s) and hide the static/parent category?

    Thank you
