    Seems that ERROR 401 is an usual issue in Z10 boxes, being model Se, Pro or MAX and it is starting to annoy GTV users also..

    Apparently and in a conversation with Android experts, it is a Android 10 related issue and it concerns the way media is opened and synced.

    In Z10 boxes happens if you are seeing a channel full screen and use Channel UP and DOWN buttons to change channel. In these conditions most of times comes Error 401.

    If, on the other hand, you press OK for channels list, choose channel from list and OK to see it, seems to work without a flaw.

    Maybe it is important this little precision to help solve issue as it seems that since first days of Z10 Pro this was never solved.

    And now customers start to send boxes back to resellers saying box is 'damaged'

    So the question is there a firmware solution or a MOL2 solution ?

  • Nevertheless, customers has the right to get refund for their boxes if they suspect something aint working.

    Always easy to blaim another part when things aint working, as a reseller you have to know what you are dealing with, not the cusomers issue. ”One”of the boxes was thrown out to earn some money and in the end it showed up it was worse than crap.

  • First of all, thank you for your observation.

    As stated countless times before, most of the 401, 403, or other http errors indicate server saturation, a bad response, or a wrong authentication from the server.

    Http error codes are shown to inform the reason why your request was rejected from the server based on the corresponding number of each code.

    No matter how long Z10 series has been out, if your server is unstable then you'll receive the same error code over and over repetitively.

    What you explained regarding the behavior difference between changing channels with up and down keys, and by channel list is a separate issue that we are aware of and there will be a fix.

    Please do not misunderstand the difference between those two behaviors as the http error codes can't be solved with any kind of firmware solution in most cases.

    You say that they are different and not related issues but, strangely enough, the simple choice of clicking OK, choose channel and OK to see solves the issue that you say it is provoked by "unstable servers"

    That instability does not happens in any other of you old model boxes.

    Surely never happen before with Z+, Z8, Z8 Pro, etc.. I can assure you and still doesn't.

    So, I presume that it is your opinion that the servers became unstable just for Z10 models.

    But we wait, of course we do.

    One should, even if your explanation makes, and I am sorry, no technical sense.

    I let you work, thinking that all customers of Z10 models are waiting for these issues to be corrected.

  • If there are server errors (poor capacity), there are not many providers that work flawlessly, if any?

    I have friends (12-15 pcs) who have tested different suppliers and they get the same wrong indication from time to time, usually it is Z10, where it is frequent, even without changing channels, the error code or that box will appear from time to time during a transmission trying to reconnect. Occurs much less on other boxes.

  • Om det finns serverfel (dålig kapacitet) finns det inte många leverantörer som fungerar felfritt, om några?

    Jag har vänner (12-15 st) som har testat olika leverantörer och de får samma felindikering då och då, oftast är det Z10, där det är frekvent, även utan att byta kanal, felkoden eller den rutan kommer från då och då under en sändning som försöker återansluta. Förekommer mycket mindre på andra lådor.

    You think it doesn't happen because those models are programmed not to show those error codes.

    Z10 series is more descriptive and user supportive according to other feedback unlike your "opinions" which could lead to misunderstanding for others.

    However, I understand and appreciate your perspective and we've been constantly working to minimize the inconvenience for a better user experience.

  • For me it sounds like there is something wrong with the hardware, signal sent out is not containing the right 1 and 0 that causes servers to reject the box.

    Nonsense, please stop with such rumours! Seems it is now sport to see everywhere on the box some failures if such or similar issue appear. Once it is Mol2 and next time it is the hardware :angry_face:

    This issue comes from the way how Android OS10 works and integrated player pull and get the data. I would also like that Exoplayer just ignore any found mistakes or errors in stream or channel pull, but it is the way how Android10 and this version of player works. Formuler will find solution for this, i`m pretty sure but this need always time.
