Recording Will Not Play Fully

  • We are relatively new to this Formuler Z10SE box. When we schedule a recording (for four hours) and it records the whole time, but for some reason it will only play a portion of the recording. What do we need to do so we can watch whole recording?

  • Are you on XC connection?

    If so go to settings in mol2 menu and set playbacklimit to off.

  • How do I find the MOL2 menu to switch playback time to off

    I guess you have a IR-1 remote with your box?

    The mol 2 menu button is located right next to the Home button,and has 3 horizontal bars on it.

    Press this button and scroll to settings->Playbacktime->set too off

  • It was already on off

    On what kind of connection are you (MAC or Stalker/XC or M3U)?

  • You should be able to find out by going to the Portal (mol2 menu-> connections) and check if you have Portal URL,login required,username & password,in that case you are on XC connection.

    Other option is MAC-ID which is connection you make by sending your iptv provider your personal Mac number.

    Did you buy your box with iptv provider already installed?

  • Yes I did and I don't have a MAC number

    In that case i think you must be on XC connection,and in that case there should not be any playback limit,just try it out tonight witha 4 or more hours recording,and see if it works now for you :smiling_face:

  • What device do you use for recording sd card,USB stick or external ssd/hdd?

    Are you sure you formatted your recording device on your laptop or PC with Rufus tool?

  • I am using a USB stick and I didn't format it with Rufus

    In that case you should format your stick according to "How to format......etc" in article section of Forum page(right next to Dashboard)
