[Solved] Switch channels by Google assistant button

    Hi there,

    I like use voice recognition with Google assistant button for switch channels

    I press Google assitant button, i give name of channel and formuler box switch automatically to the channel

    I have 3 iptv server (A,B,C), Server A and B are in the top of the list, server C is the last of the list

    When i use Google assistant button, that switch almost all the time to the channel from server C

    I 'm wondering, if its possible to force switch channel to my server A or B ?

    By "3 iptv server (A,B,C)" do you mean "3 iptv Formuler boxes (A,B,C)"?

    I don't have the BT with Google Assistant RCU so I don't know if if it works the same as Google Home Mini, but my 'Mini' works as follows (as an example):

    I have "Porch Lights", "Basement Lights 1" & "Basement Lights 2". I can ask Google to turn on ALL Lights, or just Basement Lights (Lights 1" & "Lights 2" come on together), etc..

    If so, perhaps when you push the Google Assistant button you can ask something like "Hey Google, switch to channel (#) on (device name)" instead of just "Hey Google, switch to channel (#)".

    Hopefully each of your 3 Formuler devices have unique names (like 'box 1, box 2 & box 3' or perhaps like 'Living Room', Bedroom 1 & Bedroom 2'). Your device name is found in HOME > Settings > Device Preferences > About > Device Name.

    I have just one Formuler box with 3 differents IPTV server (named A, B and C)

    I just tested your suggext by adding the the name of the server at the end of my request, the lady don't understand my request 😂

    If i just say the name of channel, that's switch without any issue on the server C, I really would like that switch to server A or server B

    If anyone have an idea, tell me

    Hi,maybe your server C has the strongest signal strenght (you can check this by pressing info button,and compare the 3 bars,in 3 different servers)?

    I have a stalker (single connection) portal so I'm not quite sure how your portal(s) are configured.

    But if you have the three different servers set up in MOL3 as three separate portals, then perhaps you might be able to ask the lady something like "Hey Google, switch to channel (#) on (Portal Nickname)". To find and/or edit the Portal Nickname in MOL3: > Menu Button > Content Manager > Content Sources > Portal Nickname.

    Other than that, I'm out of ideas. Perhaps a much more experienced user will come to your rescue.
