Is there a way to save? VoD? On the box or external SSD. So I have something to watch when I don't have internet when traveling? Or something happens @ home Power outage?

The orignal question whether you could save a VOD or TV show,on ssd or otherwise and play it on your box when you are in an area-offline-,and the box can not be used as a VHR or Blue ray device,so in a remote area with no internet available,its not possible

because i bought a box to watch on my big tv.. a app out the app store on my phone don't work on my TV dont have andriod on it.
