I'm ready take a hammer to my gtvs honest to god.disssapointed but I expected these things if I'm honest,z8pro far superior on mol2 the list is endless the amount of issues im having but will persevere and keep reporting issues as its the only way it will improve I have faith in formuler it will come right in time

Would be interesting to see what happens, if you discount the GTV and swap the tv they were connected too.

Dosent even give me a option to turn on or off on colour depth setting
As for hdmi cables im using the best about cost more than the gtv audioquest cinnamon i have swapped cinnamon cables from other rooms to make sure

Display More
The HDMI shake (exchange data) between box and TV decide what is possible and what not. It is also very curios that your second TV (curved) shows only one possible setting, should at least show RGB too.
Test following:
Auto switch to best resolution: activate
Colour Depth Setting: ON
Reboot your box after this and restart your TV.
Colour Depth Settings: -> How much are now shown?
Test also with other HDMI 2.0 cable and check your TV depth colour settings.
Dosent even give me a option to turn on or off on colour depth setting

You think two different tvs with different specifications must give you the same color space options?
No but was curious why one only had one setting the others had 3 as sam said I should have at least RGB aswell which I don't have

I had this problem myself when changing channels didn't have to wait that long with black screen thou this fixed my back screen when changing channels
Player options turn A.F.R. off
Go to settings
Display
Screen resolution turn off
Colour depth turn off
Colour space settings YxbCr420
Hdr to sdr auto
Sdr to hdr on
Worked for me

All good here aswell on a few different vod subs on standard player and all gtvs my end got be provider as mentioned above

The black screen you get for that slight mili second when turning over heres how to fix

But the gtv is in my front room that says something and us posting issues ect will only help to get the gtv where it needs to be

Now upstairs in the bedroom on WiFi I have b*** x* 4000
Runs like the z8 pro fine
This gtv is a pain but got expect these problems with new equipment

z8 pro is almost instant play gtv takes 7secs atleast as you can see then just buffers
Sometimes as mentioned in previous correspondence you get sound before picture

that time in the video the sound is there and pic but pic frozen normally sound comes first then pic after its strange as the z8pro is perfect

thanks for your reply it also buffers like crazy on catch up the z8pro is faultless and instant on ff rr ect none of this flashing pic on and of before catch up plays

Mevi I love the box the gtv is in front room z8 pro in bedroom that tells you something hey.
its just so annoying but got to expect these things with a new box

both machines running side by side on mol z8 pro is far superior
Catch up for instance z8 pro instant gtv has a lag then you get sound before pic
Ff and rw the same nowhere as quick lags then sound before pic
Dont get me wrong I love the gtv but its all these niggles there's loads
These two machines running same providers same isp everything z8 pro is better at the moment on mol

buffer time allways set high I've rebooted the box and all seems fine,some gremlins in that box 😄
Z8 pro was perfect was just the gtv what was having issues all good now
