Why did they change the volume buttons to the side , I’ve learnt them for my tv but can’t it be done like the BT1 remote where you can learn the volume buttons on front of remote .
It only works when you set remote to STB mode for tv control but then can’t control the formuler box 
Will this be updated at all ?

Why they did it... i don't know. Maby they wanna try something else one time.
I hope the give it a firmware update so we all can setup the volume buttons on the remote can setup with the tv volume.
For now we can only use the side buttons...
Note: if you have the Z11 bt1 remote, use that one.
Works also.
Only you need to pair it with the Z12. Thats all.

Yes I hope so love the back lit buttons but the volume is a deal breaker ,I’ve just ordered the BT1 remote and will wait an hope for an update so sort the new one 🤞
