I can't add any connection/portal

    Hi everyone.

    I have a Z+Neo, with not to many apps installed, just Mytvonline2, Audio Optimizer and a VPN (Surfshark).

    2 days ago I was turning the VPN on and saw a message saying that a new version was available to update. When I tried to update it, there was a message saying I didn't had enough storage to update. So I did what I always do when this happened: I reset the formuler box to factory defaults in order to free some space. As soon as the factory default reset was done, I removed all the apps I don't need and installed the ones I always have with no problems.

    But this time something different happened. As soon as MyTVonline2 was installed, the app opened in the connections menu and there was no "Add Portal" option. Just a "kopke API" folder as shown in the attached picture, that when selected asks me for a user and password I don't know what are. I tried so many things already (force stop mytvonline2, erase data and cache, taking out the power cable and turn it back on pressing the red button on the remote, putting on the 0227 code on the update page to the beta, nothing works).

    Can someone explain to my what I have to do to solve this?

    Im sorry, the option insn't there you mean? My bad.

    Your box is blocked. I think you bought it at your provider.

    Go to home menu -> system info -> if block installed, you should see menu entry "Check for configuration update"-> Highlight the configuration line, then press 0 (Zero) -x10 times -> It will factory reset and unblock the entire device.

    Don't now the exactly steps.

    Or something like this:

    Go to home menu ->Settings -> Storage & Reset ->if block installed, you should see menu entry "Check for configuration update" -> Highlight the configuration line, then press 0 (Zero) -x10 times -> It will factory reset and unblock the entire device.

    You got also such device right, can you describe the correct order?

    He says he can't add portal. So i think it's a blocked device due provider.

    He already factory reset his device so it’s not needed to uninstall mytvonline2 and reinstall it from market cause it’s a fresh install already due factory reset.

    You factory reset your box.

    Ok.

    What's now the problem?

    You can't add a new portal with credentials?

    Isn't it there anymore?

    Or device storage to full?

    Lucky13,i do have a z10pro,but not a Z+Neo,so i cant test.

    The way you descibed the steps are OK for z10 series,i dont know about the Z+Neo,maybe SAM can remember,i beliieve its a legacy model box.

    Best advice for the thread starter is consider upgrading to Z11,Z12 series:smiling_face:

    That's it, since the factory reset I can't add a new portal, in the first image I posted I show the screen where I used to add new portals with credentials. But now there is nothing but a portal called "kopke API" to which I don't know the user and password (I tried my subscrition credential but it didn't work, of course).

    Ok, this one I could find and it factory reset the device when I pressed 0 x10 times.


    And the problem IS SOLVED!!!!
